"We have developed our own code. After we left the other Clans, SkyClan realized our members were becoming weak, and we decided to make up some new rules. SkyClan rules reward the strong and aggressive—the cats who will best defend the Clan."
Darktail lying to Sparkpaw about being SkyClan in The Apprentice's Quest, page 204

Darktail's Group is a group of rogues led by Darktail, who are responsible for exiling SkyClan out of their own home and scattering them.[1]

Description

Darktail's Group are a bunch of rogues who only let the strongest cats eat and don't care about their own queens and elders.[2] They are not aware of the warrior code and barely know what makes a Clan.[3] They appear to have no medicine cat or knowledge of herbs in general.

Camp

After taking over SkyClan's territory, the rogues made their camp in SkyClan's gorge[4] and used to reside there.[1]

History

In the Super Edition Arc

Hawkwing's Journey

Darktail is found by Hawkwing, and he is brought to the SkyClan camp. He does not appear to have his group with him yet. Later, the white tom brings Rain, a member of his group, to the camp.
Hawkwing wakes up to the rustling of branches and leaves the den to investigate. He smells cat scent, and rogues begin attacking the camp. The group of rogues is revealed to be led by Darktail. Many cats die during the battle, and SkyClan is driven from their camp; Darktail's group takes over.

In the A Vision of Shadows Arc

The Apprentice's Quest

Darktail's group masquerades themselves as SkyClan and are encountered by Alderpaw, Molewhisker, Sparkpaw, Cherryfall, and Needlepaw. After the Clan cats' arrival, the hunters come back and let Darktail chose a plump pigeon from the lined up prey. The rest of the group proceed to start fighting over the prey and shove the weaker cats away from the food. The ThunderClan cats watch in horror, but Needlepaw joins in and fights for a mouse. Sparkpaw confronts Darktail over what they're doing and provokes him, causing him to growl at her. Molewhisker leads her away and Alderpaw is confused as to how the SkyClan cats changed the rules since Firestar and Sandstorm left them. Cherryfall suspects that there's something wrong with the cats here and think they should just go back home.
