"With this life I give you endurance. Use it to keep going, even when you feel as though all hope and strength have left you." |
— Mumblefoot to Bluefur in Bluestar's Prophecy, page 500 |
Mumblefoot is a small,[7] mangy,[8] graying,[9] thick-furred[10] brown tom with amber eyes.[2]
Mumblefoot was a ThunderClan elder under Pinestar's leadership in the forest territories. As a warrior, Mumblefoot served under Oakstar and Doestar, and mentored Rabbitleap and Robinwing. Despite his age, Pinestar named Mumblefoot his first deputy but was later succeeded by Sunfall. Mumblefoot retired to the elders' den and joined StarClan after his death. During Bluefur's leadership ceremony, Mumblefoot gave her a life for endurance.
