The battle between Starclan and the forest Clans vs The Dark Forest was won. (Of course). The only reason they won, though, is because of Firestar. He killed Tigerstar, but after he kills him a tree next to them is struck by lightning and it catches fire. It falls on Firestar, and he dies. There are debates still, however, that he was not only killed by the tree falling on him, but he was greatly weakened by his battle wounds, too...

i think firestar will die in the last book of omen of the stars... mabey Tigerstar will finally kill him. :(
if that happens i will ball my eyes out... and when they say and one more warrior will be lost forever... they are talkin about ( SPOILER ) hollyleaf. - Icestar 4/19/11 :3
:::::::Firestar might die in Sunrise. In the Book's summary look: "...and one more warrior may be lost no i dont want firepaw, graystripe,or brmablestar to dieforever..." That sounds pretty dramatic for just an ordinary warrior like Cloudtail or Thornclaw, but a death like Firestar's... I don't know, but it sounds suspico=ious and reasonable to me... --Mallinois F l u f f y is W a t c h i n g . . . 22:50, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Actually I think Brambleclaw or Graystripe might die. It would seem as such. We know Firestar has atleast 3 more lifes left so he cannot lose 3 lives one shot. But the story would cetainly be better if one of the other main characters died.I put my money on Brambleclaw or graystripe. That would cause Thunderclan to have a new deputy. (ps this is Golden blaze I forgot my password)

But I don't want Firestar to die!--Blazeheart 13:29, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

That's what I thought when I read it. Maybe it will be Brambleclaw instead of Firestar since their is a rumour that Bramble won't be the next leader. But then, I disagree with you on the other part Golden blaze. How do we know that Firestar has three lives left? The Erins have hinted that he has less left than we think. Remember, we don't know if he lost any between Sunset and The Sight. He could have one left for all we know! Of course I could be completely wrong their too but it looks like we will have to wait and see who dies. . .Even though I hate waiting. You know, that's actually a misleader. "One WARRIOR may die." The answer as to who will die was revealed on another site by someone good friends with Victoria. And I'll give you a hint: it's not a warrior, and it's not Firestar. Oh and another thing: WHY FIRESTAR?! There are PLENTY of cats that are older than him that should have died by now! Morningflower, Tallpoppy, Barkface, Mousefur...Firestar still has a lot of years ahead of him. And don't say "wild cats live shorter lives than housecats"--first of all, Firestar was a housecat for six months, which basically gives him six more months to live than he normally would if he were just a feral cat. And warriors are different than scrawney rogues looking for old french fries in alleys. The cats live in a forest rich with prey, with other cats to look after them. If they were just plain "ferel cats", there wouldn't be any elders. All the cats would die before then.--Shaf Girl 21:24, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Loved that, Shaf Girl. Scrawny old rouges looking for french fries in alleys Pure genoius.

It's possible that Firestar wil die. Even if he has more than 1 life left. Remember the way Tigerstar died? His wound was so bad that even StarClan could not heal it. Firestar could drown trying to save some other cat. It's possible that Brambleclaw will die before Firestar. Firestar then chooses Lionblaze as his next deputy.Rainpath 09:16, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Rainpath

If it isn't Firestar and it isn't a warrior, then is it a medicine cat? --Mallinois F l u f f y i s W a t c h i n g 13:32, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Yeah Mallinois I think your right. It may be a medicinecat. Didn't Erin Hunter or someone say that Mothwing is going to go to Starclan. I believe she is going to die in Sunrise.GoldenBlaze 14:15, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

I remember reading an Erin Hunter chat saying that Firestar has less lives then we think.--Spottedwing 23:38, 17 March 2009 (UTC) Spottedwing

I don't think Firestar dies, because I think that Hollyleaf does because I think that she blurted out the secret and that somehow led to her death. But I'm not sure. ~Moontalon

If you haven't read the book, im impressed. If you did we already know.Sandwich989

If Brambleclaw died, Firestar would choose Graystripe or Brackenfur as deputy because Lionblaze has not yet had an apprentice. Also, Erin Hunter said that Brambleclaw would not succeed Firestar. -Swiftpath

I think Squirrelflight will die and somehow her "three kits" will be responsible. - User:SpottedheadRC

Its kind of known now that Hollyleaf and Hoenyfern were the cats lost forever. So this should now be about how Firestar will die.Sandwich989

Okay I'm just gonna clear all this crap about Sunrise so people won't get confused. FIRESTAR DOES NOT DIE IN SUNRISE!!!! OKAY PEOPLE! GO RUIN PEOPLES LIVES SOMEWHERE ELSE! So I'm going to erase everything about Sunrise. Ashstar 12:58, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

IN sunrise Firestar doesn't die, it was said he would die in the the next part of the series--Sorrie!always in the paws of Starclan 16:02, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Firestar dies in the book after Fading Echoes in the Omen of the Stars series, it will be called Night Wispers

No. You cannot cut things from a forum, even if it isn't true. Sunrise wasn't out yet, so we didn't know. we can continue the discussion here. --Mallinois Cinder-Wolf 16:30, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Sunrise was out.... Firestar didn't die --Sorrie!always in the paws of Starclan 16:31, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

If I was one of the Erins, I'd probably create a new villain character and have the villain kill Firestar in some way. Like for example, sneaking up on him when he's sleeping, then beating him repeatedly with a rock. Something brutal and sneaky like that. ~Empress Sinta-tan

Interesting theory. I was thinking more along the lines of a badger with a machine gun.-Shadeheart 15:55, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm still going with what I said above. The minimum time I think Firestar should die is when Dovekit and Ivykit become warriors, which I think will be before the final book of the series, so.....but the older cats I listed above HAVE to die before that, too. Otherwise, it's just plain wrong!--Shaf Girl 03:41, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Well even though the next series is supposed to continue off from the Po3 does is say how many moons in between? I would say about 3-4 moons in between. My point: In those moons im guessing Tallpoppy, Morningflower(D:), Barkface, and alot of the old cats should die. But I remember hearing from someone that the Erins said that his death is supposed to be tragic and heroic. Sandwich989 18:14, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Firestar dies somewhere in the 4th series, I thought that the Erin's said that he and Brambleclaw die in a beaver attack. It also said that someone unexpected will become leader. - Rainshade

I don't want Firestar to die either, but he has been losing so many lives throughout the whole saga since he became ThunderClan's leader. I think that Blackstar should die before him, because in Night Whispers it has been mentioned that he is running low on lives as well. I really want Brambleclaw to die as well, so that Graystar will rule with Brakenfur or Thornclaw as deputy. Then, Brackenfur or Thornclaw will die, leaving Lionblaze to be the deputy. When Graystar dies, Lionblaze will lead, and become Lionstar. This will leave Dovepaw to be the deputy. Think about it: the 3. Lionstar, Dovepaw as deputy, and Jayfeather is already the medicine cat! Branckenfur or Thornclaw will retire or die.

Firestar lost a life during the Ravenpaw manga story arc. The Hunters confirmed that... So he *does* have less lives than we think. - RandomKit

He has two lives left, look at his leader thnigy, then click 'Nine lives' Maple♥poolMischief brewing 18:29, September 7, 2011 (UTC)

I don't want Firestar to die! If he was to no longer be leader I would want him to atleast be alive, Like become an elder!

Well, I mean, think about it. Firestar can't live forever, I would be more pissed off is he did. Although the series wouldn't be the same without our original beloved hero, but the series would suck (Actually, in my opinion, all the new series really suck) if there was an immortal leader. Plus, I would be ecstatic if Brambleclaw became leader, because I love that cat. And, besides, I doubt that the Erins would kill off Firestar and then just make it seem like he was just nonexistant. He'll still be here, as a cat of Starclan

FireStar is the most amazing cat i have ever heared, seen, or read about. He was my favorite cat scince i ever started reading them. (first grade) HE CAN'T DIEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well i dont geve a damn if brambleclaw or squirrellFlight dies. grr. i just hate them for some reason. if FireStar dies, StarClan better give him the best treatment they have ver had in thier LIFE. <3 FireStar24.125.92.114 21:00, November 28, 2011 (UTC) the 2nd
