Hi all, as I'm sure you've noticed, Kitsu's not been active on the wiki lately, due to real life obligations and such, so we need new project leaders.

The projects have pretty much been abandoned, and we need someone who has plenty of contributive edits (a couple hundred would be nice, if not a thousand), has the time to put a lot of effort into this position, and has the spirit to revive these projects.

The candidates will have to be trusted by the community, as well, as they will be chosen by the community.

Please nominate a leader in the proper section below. Please DO NOT nominate yourself. DO NOT nominate a user with less than 300 edits. DO NOT nominate a user with more talk page, user talk page, or forum edits than mainspace (edit stats can be viewed here).

If you are nominated, and feel that you can not fulfil what will potentially be expected of you, please place a <s> at the beginning of the nomination and a </s> at the end, to strike through your name.

Thank you,

––Σulãlíã459 678 07:07, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

EDIT: Please don't nominate me; I've moved on to other wikis, and just don't have the time to devote to being a project leader. Nominations will go on for a month, to insure that everyone gets a chance to nominate their nominee.

After the month is up (July 25, 2009), the different projects will be split into different forums, and voting will be held (if there's more than one nominee) to see who will go to the vinal votes, and if they get enough votes, they will become the new project leader.

Warrior♥

Redflare

This is everyone who has more than 300 edits, has more Mainspace edits than anything else, has not stated that they do not wish to be leader, and has logged in since June 1st. Hopefully this will help you guys pick a leader! (Oh, and feel free to remove your name if you do not want to be leader.) -User:SparrowWing

*sigh* SparrowWing, when you looked at their edits, did you look to see if they had enough mainspace edits? I've struck everyone who fails to meet that requirement. Please make sure they meet everything next time. GB57 15:09, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

And I quote: "DO NOT nominate a user with more talk page, user talk page, or forum edits than mainspace." Excuse me, but Bramble, Jayfeather113, Shimmerpool, Warrior♥, and Redflare all have more Mainspace edits than anything else. Notice the OR in the sentence. You don't add them up- you compare each thing by itself. -User:SparrowWing

The don't have 50% in the mainspace. That's what's needed. SparrowWing, maybe you should learn more about WWiki stuff before nominating users. GB57 16:40, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

I apologize. I didn't see anywhere that they had to have 50% in the Mainspace. (By the way, if Bramble does not have enough Mainspace edits, then why would Kitsu nominate her?) -User:SparrowWing

Yes, where exactly does it say you need 50% mainspace edits? I almost have that many. --Jayfeather 17:51, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

I'd love to, but I'm busy in life, especially during the summer, and not to mention that I don't have enough mainspace edits; nor does Sandy. GB57 15:39, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks GB for striking that, I hadn't gotten around to it. I've done too much on the PCA talk page to have enough Mainspace edits. lol  Sandy Talk! 16:19, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Skyfeather1995. I've seen him working mostly on the character pages, he does good edits, reverts vandalism, and he's also on nearly every day. I think he'd be great at it. --Bramble My Realm 23:21, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

I agree. Σ ãliãs G.r.paw05:13, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

My life hates me, but I will say that I do, personally, believe that Bramble is the best choice for the project leader to replace me (I do wish I could find the time, but hauling myself to college eats an awful lot of time. If you think Homework in Highschool keeps you busy...). As the outgoing project leader, I give my personal recommendation for Bramble, who's got an eye for art and a realization that quality is required and something we should strive for.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 18:21, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

I agree.... I think it should be Bramble.

I'm not trying to speak for Bramble, but I'd guess that she's busy doing an awesome job of running PCA. Skyfeather's the best for this job. GB57 15:37, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

I was thinking Skyfeather, as well; I really don't think someone could do as good a job if they're divided between two projects, which is why I'd say no to Bramble.––Σulãlíã459 678 17:59, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

How about Jayfeather113? Checked Mainspace edits and most work is on character pages. :-) -User:SparrowWing

Since bramble is out.... Jayfeather113. He does a lot of edits and stuff on character pages. :Morningleaf Wolf Pup 17:22, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

I gotta say Jayfeather113. He's got like 400-something edits. I think he'd be good, but I haven't seen him on for awhile. Cloverfang Kiitten's den 20:04, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

How long has it been since anyone's seen Jayfeather113? If he hasn't been on in a really long time, I think Skyfeather should be, we need an active leader after all. --:LST DragonClan's Camp 01:12, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

How about having the position of deputy and making Skyfeather leader and Bramble/Jayfeather deputy. Σ ãliãs G.r.paw05:10, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

But didn't we already kind of agree that Bramble's busy with PCA already, I think we should have Skyfeather as leader and Jayfeather as deputy. And if Jayfeather doesn't show up in the next like..two weeks or so, we make Bramble deputy, how's that? --:LST DragonClan's Camp 20:30, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

I would like to be leader/deputy or senior warrior but you have enough options, I for one think Skyfeather should be leader and then Skyfeather appoints the deputy. --brambleberry 22:43, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

We can't nominate Jayfeather for everything. I mean, she hasn't been on in like a week. Bramble is busy with the PCA, so the only other user is Skyfeather. Maybe GB could do it?--Warrior♥Warrior's Den 16:47, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

GB would be a good idea --brambleberry 22:50, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Since this project is still inactive, does that mean we can still nominate people? Out of the people already nominated, I'd say GB. I don't think Jayfeather would work, because no offense to her, she hasn't been on very much recently. Insane Batteries not Included 14:19, December 29, 2009 (UTC)

Saying that, GB is not often on due to family commitments - he has said himself that he cannot get online very much, and sometimes is inactive for more than a week at a time. Ѕд₦₫y ♪ 13:04, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

Hmm, well, can I suggest that we remove the "50% Mainspace edits" requirement? Because, sadly, we don't have many people who make that qualification anymore... I can think of some people who are active and would be good leaders, but don't have the edits, either because they work more "behind the scenes" (i.e. projects) or because we just don't have that much more to do on the mainspace pages anymore (Not completely true, but we barely have any more stubs)... so...? Insane Batteries not Included 15:27, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

I think we should have all the users who stepped up and the most nominated user's being voted on by a poll put somewhere all the user's of this wikia can vote. After all,it will be the communities vote then!^.^ FirePeltHow's the prey running? 00:55, January 6, 2010 (UTC)

I think you're right about the mainspace edits Insane. As long as quality of the edits actually made, and purpose of them are taken into account so a sensible user is nominated, it seems fine to me. I can also think of a number of users I would consider nominating if the mainspace edits weren't a problem. Ѕд₦₫y ♪ 09:23, January 6, 2010 (UTC)
