The Journey to Find SkyClan (TAQ) took place in The Apprentice's Quest, when after receiving a vision, Alderpaw and other Clan cats had to travel to find SkyClan long after it was renewed by Firestar and Sandstorm.

Overview

Alderpaw receives two visions from StarClan: one from when he was a kit, and the other after he became a medicine cat apprentice. The first one details a prophecy from StarClan, which included the medicine cats (save Mothwing), and a small group of their warrior ancestors. Barkface starts it off by saying they have a prophecy that concerned all the Clans. Firestar then speaks the words aloud: "A time of great change is coming. Embrace what you find in the shadows, for only they can clear the sky." The second vision has Alderpaw and Firestar walking toward a pool, and Firestar orders him to look down into the water. He sees cats in a gorge performing a warrior ceremony, then a silver tabby looking up who seems to have seen him. After Alderpaw shares his second vision with the medicine cats, Bramblestar speaks to him alone and explains SkyClan and how he must go on a journey to find them.
