Larchkit is one of the kits in Ferncloud's second litter. She was born in Midnight.

She was the first to die of starvation in Moonrise. Her sister Hollykit, died after her. Fortunately, Birchkit, Larchkit's brother, lived, as he was the strongest of the litter.

In Starlight, she is seen by Leafpaw at the Moonpool, playing with her sister, Hollykit, then was told off by her older brother, Shrewpaw, when they strayed too close to the Moonpool.
