- He only appears in this book as a ill-mannered kittypet. Then he appears at the meeting Firestar holds to hopefully gather rogues, loners, and kittypets to join the modern SkyClan. When Firestar asks him to join SkyClan, Oscar refuses. He later appears when Firestar is showing Cherrypaw and Sparrowpaw the territory of Twolegplace. His final appearance is when Firestar is looking for the medicine cat that the SkyClan leader, Cloudstar, promised he would find. He asks Oscar if he has had any strange dreams, hoping he would say that he had not. The medicine cat later turns out to be the kittypet, Echo, and then Oscar taunts them, saying that he does not believe in StarClan.
