Firestar's QuestEdit
- Pricklenose does not formally appear, but is mentioned when Sky points out the bush where he caught his first mouse to Firestar and Sandstorm, and how proud she was. When Sandstorm asks why Pricklenose taught him to hunt, not his mother, Sky points out that she trained Lowbranch's kits, Sky and his brother, Twig, because both of them believe that a mother would be too soft on her own kits, and perhaps catch prey for them instead of teaching them to hunt, and Lowbranch trained Pricklenose's kits. Firestar mentions that this custom was similar to mentoring, like they did and still do in the Clans, and wonders whether or not there are other rogues who still preserve that custom. Sandstorm also comments that Pricklenose and Lowbranch sound like Clan cat names.
