Sharptooth is a huge short furred mountain lion that lives in a cave near the Tribe.

Sharptooth was a mountain lion that preyed on the Tribe of Rushing Water. He was greatly feared and Cave-Guards were assigned to go with hunting groups to watch out for him. The Tribe cats believe he was once a lion, but was so evil his mane fell off. He killed the kit-mother Star as well as several cave-guards. The Tribe of Endless Hunting chose six cats to go out and kill Sharptooth, three of them were killed, while the other three, Bird, Rock, and Talon went to live as loner in a cave and they met the six questing cats. The six questing cats tried to kill him with a mountain hare filled with poisonous berries, but to no avail; he met his death soon after while attacking the forest cats, as Feathertail leaped onto a stalactite, pulling it down and impaling him. Feathertail died from the fall, but the Tribe and the other Clan cats were saved.
