  • He was warned by StarClan of a time of war and for ShadowClan to stand alone. Littlecloud disagreed but Flametail convinces Blackstar.
  • Flametail also had dreams of drowning which wore him down. Seeing this, Dawnpelt and Olivenose invite him to play prey-stone.
  • The frozen lake broke and Flametail falls in, seeing Jayfeather try to rescue him but being pushed away by a hairless cat before drowning.
  • Flametail was forced to watch in StarClan the Clans battle against the Dark Forest.

  • Runningnose and Tigerclaw arrive at the Highstones, with Tigerclaw remembering his previous journey.
  • Runningnose states the moon is rising, and Tigerclaw growls StarClan will wait. Runningnose points out dawn won’t.
  • They head in and settle at the Moonstone, with Runningnose confessing Nightstar’s lack of nine lives.
  • Tigerclaw falls asleep, meeting with Cedarstar and impatient for his nine lives.
  • Littlebird, Badgerfang, Pinestar, Whitetail, Sedgestar, Flowerstar, Redscar, Mossheart and Cedarstar give Tigerclaw a life.
    • Most lives seem to be warnings, and advice to do the opposite of what Tigerclaw will do.
  • Tigerstar wakes up, with Runningnose warning him that if he doesn’t follow the lives his been given, StarClan will not help him.
  • Tigerstar takes this as a threat, and tells Runningnose his loyalty is to him and his Clan before StarClan.
  • Tigerstar whispers that ShadowClan is his and he has nine lives so that they will remember him forever.

  • Tallstar explains how the other Clans are quick to call WindClan cowards, but WindClan are most closely decendant of the mountain cats.
  • Like the mountain cats, they need the sky above their heads and the breeze, not going under trees and getting wet to find prey.
  • WindClan may be lithe and small, but they run faster than other Clans, and are the only ones that can catch rabbits on the moor.
  • They see enemies from far away, and if that makes them more watchful and alarmed to danger, that’s only because it keeps them safe.
  • They have no wish to invade other territories as they are where they suit, but will defend fiercely in necessary.
  • Tallstar admits he’d rather ally with another Clan to defend a border than risk his warriors’ health because of stubborn pride.
  • Tallstar states he watched his Clan suffer the most when monsters came and destroyed the moor and poisoned rabbits.
  • He would have never left without the other Clans as WindClan is one of the four and that will never change.
  • The mountain cats didn’t leave their home in vain, WindClan will save their legacy with their speed and their determination to survive.

  • Tallstar was born to tunnelers and they expected Tallkit to walk in their pawsteps, but Tallkit was interested in being a moor runner instead.
  • Heatherstar saw this and gave him a moor runner mentor much to his parents’ disappointment.
  • Sandgorse was however killed tunnelling with Sparrow, and Talltail journeyed to find the rogue for revenge.
  • He found Jake, and made an unlikely friendship with him as they searched for the group of rogues.
  • Jake told Talltail that he would be a better cat and not kill Sparrow. Talltail remembers this just as Sparrow is at the edge of the cliff and lets him live.
  • Sparrow falls anyway, and Talltail risks himself to rescue him. Sparrow tells that Sandgorse saved his life, and Talltail left the rogues.
  • Expecting to travel with Jake, but Jake returns to his Twoleg and Talltail followed his heart back to WindClan.
  • As leader, Tallstar remembers his experience and would rather ally with a Clan than fight, especially when Jake’s son Firestar came to ThunderClan.
  • Tallstar made Onewhisker deputy with his dying breath, dismissing Mudclaw. His intentions were good, but it led to many problems for WindClan.

  • Onewhisker was loyal and courageous but had none of the fierce ambition most leaders have.
  • He made friends with Fireheart after he rescued WindClan, and that friendship helped both their Clans.
  • Onewhisker helped persuade Tallstar to not fight ThunderClan after Bluestar’s falsely accuses WindClan.
  • When Onestar became leader, he had to prove WindClan can survive on their own, the friendship he shared with Firestar becoming a burden.
  • Onestar had to gain respect from his Clanmates when Mudclaw rebelled against him, and he did with the help of StarClan killing Mudclaw.
  • Onestar vigorously reinforced the ThunderClan border, clearly stating there are no favors for ThunderClan and no ThunderClan trespassers tolerated.
  • When Onestar discovered the tunnels, he made his warriors train and hone their skills to fight underground.
  • WindClan attacked ThunderClan via the tunnels but narrowly lost, and Onestar’s hostility to Firestar grew.
  • Onestar was forced to ally with Firestar and all the Clans when the Dark Forest came to defeat them.

  • Tallstar needed a deputy that is not afraid to fight to balance his kind nature, so chose Mudclaw.
  • Mudclaw was loyal, fearless and determined to be a strong leader without the ambitions that previous ShadowClan leaders had.
  • When Tallstar dismissed him as deputy, Mudclaw was heartbroken and saw no reason other than Tallstar going insane from old age.
  • Rebelling seemed logical, and he was supported by his Clanmates and warriors from RiverClan and ShadowClan, especially from Hawkfrost.
  • Hawkfrost told Mudclaw that Onestar not grabbing land will lead to his Clan hungry and weak during leaf-bare.
  • Mudclaw met his allies from the other Clans in secret, and one night led them on a probably foolish but brave attack on Onestar.
  • Firestar’s aid for Onestar led to a defeat, and Mudclaw fled back to the island.
  • He was killed by a tree that was hit by lightning, a sign that Onestar is the true leader and Mudclaw was wrong.
  • The fallen tree made a bridge to the island, a last gift from Mudclaw for future Gatherings for the Clans.

  • Crowpaw went on a journey to find Midnight, an unlikely choice but proved to be a brave fighter, and soon fell in love with Feathertail.
  • When the group try to kill Sharptooth, Crowfeather is cornered and Feathertail gives her life for Crowpaw’s, leaving the tom heartbroken.
  • Crowfeather chose his name in memory of her, and swore never to be so vulnerable, and Leafpool tried to reassure Feathertail is still watching.
  • Crowfeather refused to let the she-cat slip his mind, but ended up Leafpool was poised over a cliff, and Crowfeather knew this time he can save her.
  • That night, he realizes and admits his feelings for Leafpool, no matter how guilty it made him feel. The both try to ignore their feelings for a while.
  • Crowfeather persuades Leafpool they are better together and they leave, but hear that ThunderClan is under attack by badgers and run to the rescue.
  • Cinderpelt is killed, and Crowfeather knew he lost Leafpool. He returns to WindClan and becomes mates with Nightcloud to prove his loyalty.
  • When he learned of Leafpool’s kits, he refused to acknowledge that, living in torment as he cannot connect with Breezepelt and resents Nightcloud.
  • In the Great Battle, Crowfeather fiercely protected Lionblaze from Breezepelt, and told Leafpool he never regretted a thing, close to accepting their kits.

  • Nightcloud was concerned she would never have kits when Crowfeather asks to be his mate.
  • She tried to make him fall in love, but realized that he only asked to prove his loyalty, choosing the short-tempered defensive she-cat.
  • Nightcloud didn’t respect nor like Crowfeather, but loved their son Breezepelt with a strength that came from Crowfeather not liking him equally.
  • Breezepelt was desperate for acknowledgement from his father, and heard the whispers of Crowfeather’s past. He was determined to not be disloyal.
  • He could have been a great warrior, but Crowfeather’s negligence and Nightcloud’s insistence he answers to no one gave Breezepelt arrogance and fury.
  • Breezepaw saw Brambleclaw’s warm treatment of his kits and his fury burned brighter, as well as his horror when he learned they are Crowfeather’s kits.
  • The Dark Forest gave him a chance to be a better warrior, and knowing their true nature, relished the thought of punishing the ones that made him suffer.
  • In the Great Battle he attacks Lionblaze but Crowfeather chased him away, blaming him for his own decisions and taking the dark path.
  • Breezepelt lost his chance of revenge, unbalancing injustice and gave his father the chance to accept his ThunderClan son.

  • Heatherpaw an impulsive but lively apprentice who met Lionpaw twice before the Clan boundaries that stopped them disappeared.
  • Due to the difficulty of talking at Gatherings, Heatherpaw suggested meeting at the border at night before discovering the tunnels and meeting there.
  • Heatherpaw saw no reason it would compromise her loyalty and make her a lesser warrior.
  • She and Lionpaw played in the tunnels, pretending to be DarkClan in the largest cave, unaware of ancient cats watching them.
  • ThunderClan and WindClan relations shattered as Onestar is determined to prove he doesn’t need ThunderClan and many border clashes start.
  • Lionpaw decides he cannot meet Heatherpaw anymore, but when WindClan kits go missing, both apprentices knew where they are hiding.
  • The apprentices found them in the tunnels, and due to torrential rain they were washed out to the lake, barely surviving the experience.
  • Heatherpaw knew it was over, with the Clan wars and limits of loyalties. She had to face Lionblaze in battle, and her duty to WindClan dominated.
  • Heathertail never forgot Lionblaze entirely, and hasn’t ever found his equal to her among WindClan.

  • Crookedstar explains other Clans are suspicious of his Clan because of their swimming skills and interest of getting wet.
  • They are descended off cats mostly not from the mountains, but from cats that saw the use of the river.
  • Those cats saw the easy access of food in every season and protection from the other Clans.
  • Their main diet of fish gave them thick glossy fur and RiverClan decorate their dens with shells and other valuables.
  • RiverClan warriors fight bravely, but are called cowards as they rarely go into battle.
  • There’s not need as an enemy that is not willing to cross the river isn’t an enemy worth picking a fight with.
  • Sunningrocks however was an exception, since the river changed its course and ThunderClan can reach them. There countless battles over the rocks.
  • Every Clan now lives beside water, but RiverClan still are the only enter it to find food. They settled on the island first before settling around a stream.
  • RiverClan has been threatened by poison and Twoleg kits but they quietly endure with their pride in their independence and swimming skills.

  • He was originally called Stormkit but after breaking his jaw, his mother Rainflower renamed him Crookedkit.
  • Rainflower never got over having a disfigured son, and showered attention over Oakkit, leaving Crookedkit restless and left out.
  • Crookedkit left to a farm where he learned to hunt but couldn’t stay away, returning to eventually become a warrior.
  • Mapleshade walked in his dreams, letting him assume they are training in StarClan but are truly in the Dark Forest.
  • She made him vow that nothing is more important than his Clan, and Mapleshade made him watch his loved ones die one by one.
  • Crookedjaw was once forced to choose between helping his Clanmates and saving his mother. He chose saving his Clanmates, and Rainflower died.
  • A false prophecy by Mapleshade convinced Hailstar to make Crookedjaw deputy, and her realized that he Mapleshade is a Dark Forest cat.
  • He turned his back, but Mapleshade reminded him of the promise, and Crookedjaw’s world fell apart, even after he became leader.
  • Crookedstar got everything and wanted and lost everything that mattered. He hid so much of the suffering and was a strong, fair-minded leader.

  • Mapleshade was loyal and keen as an apprentice, and skilful and bold as a warrior.
  • Her courage and pursuit to the warrior code stirred whispers that she will become leader, and Mapleshade basked in her ambition.
  • She made the mistake of bearing a RiverClan tom’s kits, and the medicine cat recognised Appledusk in her three kits.
  • Mapleshade was banished, and she tried to swim the river with her kits to find shelter in RiverClan, but her kits drowned.
  • Mapleshade almost drowned trying to save them. To her horror, Appledusk blamed her for their deaths and refused to let her stay in RiverClan.
  • Her hatred for the Clans boiled, and after her death she planned her revenge in the Dark Forest.
  • She saw Crookedkit feeling rejected and took the chance, making him promise his loyalty to his Clan above anything else.
  • Mapleshade trained him to be the warriors she was, as well as taking away everything he loves, rejoicing that another cat knows how she suffers.
  • Mapleshade planned with other Dark Forest cats for the final battle, never making the Clans to suffer enough for what they did to her.

  • Silverstream is Crookedstar’s only surviving daughter due to her mother Willowbreeze lost after giving birth.
  • She was feisty and head-strong that can make her father bend to her will with little effort.
  • Her impulsive nature was however softened by her mother’s gentleness, and she was loved by her Clanmates.
  • She is a true RiverClan cat with freshwater in her blood, and never intended to fall in love with Graystripe.
  • There weren’t any romantic notions as she saved Graystripe from the river, only that her Clan doesn’t like dead cats polluting the river.
  • Graystripe begged to see her, and Silverstream did out of curiosity, and her fondness grew despite her instincts screaming to stay loyal to RiverClan.
  • When they met secretly she felt like she was walking on thorns and fish stuck in her throat as she returned to her Clanmates.
  • She could not deny her heart’s pull, and her joy outweighed fear when she discovered she is expecting kits.
  • She bled to death giving birth. It’s unknown if she would have been happy away from the river but her courage could have given her a chance.

  • Leopardfur was keen and ambitious and Crookedstar saw her as a loyal straight-forward cat that isn’t haunted by shadows.
  • Leopardfur’s black-and-white approach to the warrior code made her see half-Clan cats as a grave weakness.
  • Tigerstar invited her to form one Clan with him, and Leopardstar accepted, nearly destroying every cat. She probably wanted to be his mate.
  • She saw the mistake when Tigerstar made himself leader then made half-Clan cats fight to death.
  • Leopardstar’s hopes were diminished, but she was too proud to speak out and couldn’t face losing her Clanmates’ respect.
  • She saved her Clanmates by joining the other Clans against BloodClan, but never forgot how close her Clan was to being destroyed.
  • Her experience left her defensive and brittle but no one can question her loyalty to her own Clan.
  • She died of sickness, knowing RiverClan is safe beside the lake.
  • Leopardstar had a peaceful end to her life that was more sad and turbulent than anyone truly appreciated.

  • Oakkit was aware that Rainflower favored him over Crookedkit, but it was no different to Oakkit, who was loyal and protective to his brother.
  • Oakpaw honed his skills as an apprentice, proving his fighting and fishing skills and prompting whispers of leadership.
  • Oakheart met Bluefur and her cool wit an sharp tongue intrigued him, so he seeked her out at Gatherings.
  • Oakheart saw no harm in what he was doing as he was still a loyal warrior. He asked to meet Bluefur in the cover of night at Fourtrees.
  • They parted ways, and Crookedstar asked for Oakheart to be his deputy but he refused, torn between his loyalty to his Clan and Bluefur.
  • After hearing Bluefur’s expecting, he started planning a future but Bluefur is raising them alone, so Oakheart swore to be their father if they need him.
  • Bluefur gave their kits up to Oakheart and he gave them to Graypool, and watched them grow strong.
  • Oakheart was killed before Tigerstar’s reign and destruction over half-Clan cats, dying by a rock slide during a battle over Sunningrocks.
  • Oakheart had a true warrior’s end, a cat with more courage and dignity that his Clan has ever realized.

  • Bluefur took her three kits through the snow and gave them to Oakheart. Only Stonekit and Mistykit survived.
  • Graypool raised the two kits, knowing exactly where they came from but kept their secret and helped raise them to be loyal, respected warriors.
  • Bluestar later revealed their true parents, making them half-Clan, the thing that Leopardstar hates.
  • They were reunited with their mother and Bluestar happily loses her final life accepting her fully grown kits.
  • After Tigerstar took over RiverClan, Mistyfoot fled across the river to ThunderClan, but Stonefur was killed.
  • Mistyfoot returned to RiverClan after the Battle Against BloodClan, and helped her Clanmates as a deputy, staying loyal to her father’s Clan.
  • She never forgot her mother’s Clan, and would have been under a lot of pressure to declare war on ThunderClan.
  • Mistyfoot’s half-Clan blood was long forgiven and was respected by all the Clans.
  • After Leopardstar dies, Mistystar takes over as leader of RiverClan.

  • Featherkit and Stormkit were raised in ThunderClan first but after they weren’t treated kindly Graystripe took them to RiverClan.
  • When Tigerstar took over RiverClan and targeted half-Clan cats, Featherpaw and Stormpaw were targeted, kept prisoner in a fox den.
  • They watched Stonefur die before being rescued and taken to ThunderClan. After the Battle against BloodClan, they returned back to their Clan.
  • Feathertail was selected to make the journey to Midnight and Stormfur went too, loyal enough to not let her travel alone.
  • She wasn’t alone though, falling in love with WindClan’s representative, Crowpaw as she saw the loyal warrior beneath the prickly temper.
  • Feathertail was part of another prophecy that she will save the Tribe. She did, giving her life to save the Tribe and Crowpaw’s life.
  • Feathertail was buried behind the waterfall and walked with the Tribe of Endless Hunting watching the Tribe of Rushing Water.
  • She never forgot the Clans and often visited Clan cats dreaming and helping to guide them.
  • She still carried the same foresight and gentleness shown in her short but courageous life.

  • Hawkfrost, Mothwing and Tadpole are born to Sasha as loners but after losing Tadpole to a flood, she brought her kits to RiverClan.
  • She hoped that Clan life would give her kits a better chance of survival and when she came back for them, they were already loyal.
  • Before Hawkfrost knew his father he wanted to be leader, training hard to catch fish over and over even though he hasn’t got the instincts for it.
  • His reward was being made temporary deputy, but knows that being Leopardstar’s favourite doesn’t guarantee respect from the rest of the Clan.
  • To gain this, he faked an omen to make his sister the medicine cat apprentice. Tigerstar saw potential in the coldhearted ambition cat from the Dark Forest.
  • He trained Hawkfrost in his dreams, encouraging to support Mudclaw uprising. Hawkfrost insisted he wasn’t part of it after Mudclaw’s death.
  • Hawkfrost plotted with a ThunderClan cat to kill Firestar, but at the last moment Brambleclaw turned on his half-brother and killed him.
  • Hawkfrost helped train other cats in the Dark Forest, seeking out Ivypaw and watching with pride as she grows to become one of the most skilled.
  • After realizing Ivypool is a spy, he tried killing her but Hollyleaf took the blow. He is chased back into the Dark Forest for good.

  • She was fascinated with healing herbs and only objected Hawkfrost’s method of making her a medicine cat apprentice and feared it being discovered.
  • Mothwing is a quick learner, sensitive to sick and injured cats and well trusted but suffered a fatal flaw: She doesn’t believe in StarClan.
  • Instinct and experience replaced guidance from StarClan, and Mothwing was forced to do as Hawkfrost tells her due to him threatening to reveal her secret.
  • Her lack of belief started to destroy her Clan as she could not receive important warnings. Terrified, Mothwing confided in Leafpool, who helped.
  • Mistystar’s Leadership Ceremony forced Mothwing to confess her secret, prompting Mistystar to think her leadership is threatened.
  • An omen however convinced Mistystar otherwise as StarClan found a better solution in Willowshine.
  • Willowshine showed an interest as a kit with a keenness of herbs and effort to help made her a great choice for Mothwing’s apprentice.
  • Willowshine eventually knew of Mothwing’s secret, but learned of StarClan from Leafpool, not caring of the secret.
  • Mothwing is wise, experienced and deserved Willowshine’s loyalty and respect, and Willowshine vowed to keep the secret to her final breath.

  • SkyClan is the first Clan as the founder Clear Sky didn’t stay on the moor but saw the use of the woodland and brought with him cats skilled at leaping.
  • The moor cats became jealous but Clear Sky knew he was sowing the seeds of the group that could have lasted forever.
  • Clear Sky could not have foreseen the destruction of the Twolegs on his territory.
  • Cloudstar says when he was leader, the trees were being torn down and SkyClan were the most vulnerable Clan for the first time ever.
  • SkyClan asked for help from the other Clans but Cloudstar says it seemed their important place in history mean’t nothing to them.
  • Cloudstar led his Clan on a long journey until he found the gorge, where SkyClan thrived nurturing the warrior code.
  • Rats however came and drove the Clan out, scattering the cats until Firestar came to restore the Clan, defeating the rats.
  • Firestar taught the cats to uphold the warrior code and recruited cats with echoes of SkyClan skills, the heart of SkyClan has never died.
  • Cloudstar admits some SkyClan cats aren’t fully cast away from their kittypet connections but SkyClan thrives once more.

  • Cloudstar was aware and proud of his Clan’s role in history and their reputation and strength.
  • When Twolegs destroyed SkyClan territory, Cloudstar begged his rivals to help but the leaders refused. SkyClan was forced to leave and find a new home.
  • Cloudstar also had to leave his mate Birdflight and their kits Spottedkit and Gorsekit behind, leaving him grief-stricken.
  • Cloudstar found a new home for his Clan, but his faith in StarClan was shattered enough that he didn’t heed the warrior code.
  • Cloudstar watched his Clan dwindle to dust as rats scattered them many moons after his death.
  • Skywatcher was the last descendant living in the gorge when Firestar came. He knew of SkyClan from his mother’s teachings and stories of the Clan.
  • Skywatcher was alone with thoughts muddled with age, most nights sitting on a jutting rock and staring at the stars, giving him the nickname of Moony.
  • Firestar saw the value with the rambling and when he rebuilt SkyClan, Skywatcher was welcomed as an elder before peacefully joining StarClan.
  • He never forgot the debt he owes to Firestar, chosen to deliver the prophecy to the ThunderClan leader.

  • Leaf was a loner, living happily on her own and hunting for herself when Firestar invited her to join SkyClan.
  • She was curious enough to come to the meeting to hear more. The tales of StarClan and cats helping each other survive convinced Leaf to join.
  • Given the name of Leafdapple, she learned fast from Firestar and Sandstorm and was given Sparrowpaw as an apprentice.
  • She helped her Clan set borders and fighting as fierce as a lion against the rats that tortured SkyClan.
  • A vision revealed Leafdapple as the new leader of SkyClan. She was hesitate of the responsibilities at first, but her faith gave her the courage to become leader.
  • With great support, Leafstar led her Clan through the early seasons, fending off attacks and negotiating new types of warriors: daylight-warriors.
  • Leafstar knew they would not be fully respected, but knew things were different and needed the number of cats in SkyClan to increase.
  • Some daylight-warriors proved unable to stay with the Clan and others did not, but Leafstar was right to let them be a Clan cat and SkyClan flourished.
  • Leafstar had her own kits with Billystorm, Firekit, Stormkit and Harrykit were rescued them from a Twoleg. Billystorm realized how much his family meant to him so became a full warrior.
  • The only fatal mistake Leafstar made was sending away Sol. It’s not dangerous for her Clan but is for the four other Clans.

  • Echosong had pure kittypet blood, no SkyClan blood in her delicate paws and fluffy fur.
  • She however dreamed of cats with stars in their fur and Firestar and Sandstorm came to the Twolegplace to find Echosong expecting them.
  • Made restless by her dreams, she was ready to leave her housefolk to live in the gorge.
  • Her sensitivity to StarClan and quick knowledge of herbs thanks to Sandstorm made her the greatest choice as SkyClan’s medicine cat.
  • The loners in the Clan were suspicious of Echosong at first but she was patient and loyal enough to prove herself.
  • She saved lives after the battle against the rats and shared the grief when Rainfur died.
  • She received the sign that showed Leafstar to be leader, and travelled to watch Leafstar’s leader ceremony.
  • Firestar knew that SkyClan was in safe paws with these two cats.

  • Sharpclaw was a loner named Scratch when Firestar came to the gorge, already have the ability to jump and courage of a warrior.
  • Sharpclaw was very willing to join the rebuilt Clan, learning to defend the borders and stock the fresh-kill pile.
  • He was however too arrogant and dismissive of former kittypets, certain they will never survive in the wild.
  • His impulsive need to protect his Clanmates causes trouble with jumping into skirmishes but his strength and bravery played a role against the rats.
  • Leafstar didn’t hesitate to make him deputy, but Sharpclaw knew in his heart he deserved to be leader, but his loyalty made him equally committed.
  • His kittypet impatience spilled when the daylight-warriors were too slow to keep up their Clan duties and quick to return to their Twoleg dens.
  • Leafstar made him give a chance to prove themselves while Sharpclaw grew close to Cherrytail, giving a sense of purpose he had not known before.
  • We will see what kind of leader he’ll become, probably a bit steadier after Leafstar’s leadership for Sharpclaw’s aggression to battle.
  • For now, he is the ideal deputy guiding the Clan to a more secure and better future.

  • Stoneteller explains that the Tribe was shaped by the mountains as they are lithe, fast and with fur the color of stones to blend in.
  • As Healer, Stoneteller leads and heals the Tribe, listens to the Tribe of Endless Hunting by looking at the pools in their cave.
  • The Tribe cats came from beside the lake, and Stoneteller wonders if the Clans know they have done a full circle.
  • The Tribe struggled at first in the harsh climate but then split into two roles, cave-guard and prey-hunter depending on a cat’s talent.
  • They also made the role to-be’s, for young cats training to become cave-guards or prey-hunters.
  • Throughout the seasons the Tribe carved a life and found a way to survive the mountains.
  • Everything changed when Sharptooth came and the Tribe was forced to wait for the silver cat.

  • Stoneteller was the healer when the Clans passed through the mountains, and was the Stoneteller that had to face Sharptooth.
  • When his prey-hunters and cave-guards, failed he began to lose hope for his Tribe’s survival until he receives a prophecy of a silver cat saving the Tribe.
  • The six journeying cats came to the mountains and Stonteller was certain it is Stormfur, but they failed and he banished them.
  • The cats returned however and it was Feathertail who saved them. Stoneteller was proud at the save, but acknowledged the debt owed.
  • With no one to share the leadership, Stoneteller found the burden was too much.
  • When a group of cats arrived and took prey, Stoneteller lost hope in his ancestors, refusing to name the next Stoneteller.
  • The moment before his death, Stoneteller saw the Tribe of Endless Hunting, watching and waiting for him.
  • Realizing his mistake, he was relieved when Jayfeather named the next Stoneteller from his place with his ancestors.

  • Brook knew she was going to be a prey-hunter, and was fiercely loyal to her Tribe.
  • When the six Clan cats came, she was the first to question if Stormfur was the cat of the prophecy that a silver cat will save them.
  • Brook taught Stormfur the Tribe ways, and eventually became his mate and mother of his kits. Her life was conflict between her Tribe and Stormfur.
  • When Feathertail was chosen to be one of the Clan cats to journey, Stormfur refused to let her go without him, unknowing it will eventually separate them.
  • After Feathertail’s death, Stormfur returned to RiverClan but wanted to spend his life with Brook, and joined the Tribe.
  • When a group of cats came, Stormfur pushed for the Tribe to fight, which ended in many deaths. He was blamed and exiled.
  • He went to RiverClan again, but with Hawkfrost’s worry he’d be chosen deputy he forced Brook, and Stormfur out.
  • After staying in ThunderClan, his former Tribemates begged for help, and he returned with Clan cats to help persuade Stoneteller.
  • Stormfur is strong and loyal who finally found his place in the world.

  • Crag was leader of the cave-guards and was skilled at protecting the prey-hunters from eagles.
  • He was one of the first to meet Stormfur when the journeying Clan cats first came to the mountains.
    • He was disappointed to miss the chance of friendship when Stormfur was taken prisoner and Crag escorted the other Clan cats out.
  • When strange cats came to the mountains and fought the Tribe, Crag fought bravely back.
  • Clan cats came to help them but Crag was reluctant to let them help.
    • He was afraid the Tribe will lose everything they value if they follow Clan ways, but helped establish territory and joined patrols.
  • After the death of Stoneteller, Jayfeather needed to choose an experienced cat to succeed him, a cat with courage, faith and selflessness. Crag was that cat.
    • Crag was astonished and honored to be chosen and promised to serve his Tribe for the rest of his life.

  • Before the time of the Clans, the territory had no borders and was ruled by rogues and loners.
    • But cats from the Ancient Tribe arrived to find a better place to live, a warmer and prey-filled climate rather than the cold mountains.
  • Half Moon introduces herself as Stoneteller back then, battling difficult conditions and leading a too large group for the mountains.
  • Since cats migrated from beside the lake, too many cats came and the mountains couldn’t support them.
  • Half Moon had a vision of a new warm place for cats to go. She was too old, but blessed those with enough courage to find a new home.
  • They found trees for forest hunters, a river for swimmers and a moor for runners.
  • Half Moon admits it did take a long time for the warrior code to be created, as well as five Clans.
  • The Clans personalities came from the Early Settlers, and they fought and shared defeats and victories.
  • Every day and action crept closer to the modern Clans and further from the memories of the Tribe.

  • Half Moon lived beside the lake with the Ancients but when they had to decide whether to stay or leave, Half Moon votes to leave.
  • She loved Jayfeather, whom she knew as Jay’s Wing, and was shattered when he mysteriously disappeared while the group moved to the mountains.
  • At the mountains, Half Moon showed courage in learning new hunting techniques.
  • When she explores the Cave of Pointed Stones, Half Moon saw the signs in the moonlit filled pools.
  • Jayfeather reappears at the cave and Half Moon is delighted at first but then was devastated when Jayfeather tells her of her true destiny.
  • All Half Moon wants is to be Jayfeather’s mate and raise his kits, not lead the group.
  • Half Moon finally accepts her destiny and becomes the Healer of the Ancient Tribe.
  • Many moons later, Half Moon receives a vision of the Sun Trail, telling her that some cats must leave to find a new home.
  • Half Moon trusted Jayfeather’s words for a long time, and when Jayfeather leaves the mountains the last time, she promises to wait for him forever.

  • Gray Wing clearly did not want to leave the mountains, but when Jagged Peak recklessly left, he went after his brother.
  • The pair caught up with the group and continued travelling on to their new home.
  • Turtle Tail secretly loved Gray Wing, but Gray Wing loved Bright Stream, who was Clear Sky’s mate.
  • Bright Stream however was taken by an eagle, and Gray Wing blamed himself for not rescuing her.
  • At their new home, Gray Wing stayed on the moor but Clear Sky and other cats moved to the forest, much to Gray Wing’s dismay.
  • He fell in love with a rogue called Storm, but she had Clear Sky’s kits, but she and three kits died at an abandoned Twoleg den.
  • Gray Wing saved one kit and named him Thunder, and took him to the moor as Clear Sky refused to do anything with him.
  • Gray Wing saved cats from a fire, but was permanently weakened. Despite that, he took over leader after Tall Shadow, and fell in love with Turtle Tail.

  • She insisted to watch and guard the camp herself, which caused cats to argue that she should be doing more active leader duties.

  • When Jagged Peak is crushed by a tunnel collapse, Wind and Gorse dig him up and clear his nose and mouth of dirt, saving his life.

  • Princess was Firestar’s littermate and went to live at a different Twoleg nest when they were still kits.
  • She didn’t know about Firestar’s path until they met at the border. Although she doesn’t want to join, she is proud enough to give her son to the Clan life.
  • The decision she made would be questioned sometimes but it was a sign of the kittypet’s trusting and hopeful nature.
  • Firestar often thought of his sister, even after the Clans had to flee the forest.
  • Princess still thinks of her sibling too, and her son. Despite this, she has no intention to go search for them to found out if they are still alive.

  • Scourge was originally called Tiny, a small protesting kit who was scorned and dismissed by his littermates, Socks and Ruby.
