This is... the TEMPLATE TUTORIAL! In this tutorial, I will explain how to use templates and their purpose.
Article Templates
Edit
Stub
Edit
- The Stub template is used when an article has little or insufficient information and needs to be improved:
{{Stub}}
turns to:
Style
Edit
- The Style template is used when an article has style concerns (e.g. history written in the wrong tense, needs more citations, etc.):
{{Style}}
turns to:
Startspoiler and Endspoiler
Edit
- These two templates are used as a warning when an article gives away plot/ending details to a person who has not read the book, etc.
{{Startspoiler}}
turns to:
and
{{Endspoiler}}
turns to:
Unreleased
Edit
- This template is used on an article on a book that has not been released yet.
{{Unreleased}}
turns to:
Family Trees
Edit
- This template is used to list relatives of a certain character. I'll show you an example, but it's really big:
{{Adderfang Tree}}
turns to:
= Male
= Female
= Gender Unknown
Alive
Edit
- This template tells you if a character is still alive. Here's an example:
{{Alive/Applefur}}
turns to:
You got to add the name, too :P.
Unconfirmed Title
Edit
- Not many people know about this template; but this is used on an article about a book when the title is not confirmed yet and the title of the article is not the real one.
{{Unconfirmedtitle}}
turns to:
Delete
Edit
- This is used for a page that is not a real character, unneeded, etc. (but don't delete this page, sysops! It's a template tutorial :/)
{{Delete|(Insert reason here)}}
turns to:
More coming soon
