Kate Cary said on her facebook page that Whitestorm could possibly be Brightheart, Cinderpelt, Brackenfur and Thornclaw's father. Whitestorm was Brightheart's mentor. If he was their father, wouldn't be against the code for kin to mentor their own family? ( Adderfang and Willowpelt, Thornclaw and Poppyfrost, Speckletail and Snowkit, Leafpool and Jayfeather, Raggedstar and Brokenstar, ect. ).
