Tallpines is a controlled forest, where Twolegs harvest trees. The ground is always bare, and therefore is a good place to hunt for food. Tallpines consists of numerous rows of tall, straight, shady, pine trees. They were planted by Twolegs so they could be cut down and used to build things. Tallpines also borders Twolegplace.
After the fire in ThunderClan's territory Tallpines is set ablaze. The trees die and black soot and ash cover the forest floor.
