Here's my 1st leader. Does any one know how to do good highlights like Minnowclaw and Quiet have done on their images? Sandwich989 19:11, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Wow Sandwich, this looks great. Maybe blend the shading and ear pink a little more, and are his eyes really light blue? And no, I do not know how to add highlights like that. Ask them yourself! :) HawkfireMy Den 22:12, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

I agree with Hawkfire on blending the shading. It took a while for me to find out what you meant by highlights, but I don't use them. I have no clue what quiet does, but if you mean what I did with Thunder, I go to www.pixlr.com and use the dodged tool for shading and highlights. Hope I helped!Minnowclaw 22:39, 22 July 2009 (UTC)Minnowclaw

Make the eyes amber as it is a generic colour unless you can find a reference for blue eyes. Take the shading away from the top edge of the tail and add some on the neck and left side of his face. Then blend all the shading more. Highlights aren't strictly necessary but if you do want to add them then use the dodge tool. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 13:32, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Made eyes amber, fixed tail, and fixed shading. Sandwich989 19:13, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

(M) - I think what Snady meant is to still have the shading along the bottem of the tail, just not on the top. Also, there are two white dots toward the outside of the eyes that aren't highlights that need to be taken out. MosswhiskerAndStealthfire 01:16, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

I made you a diagram for shading. Where I circled in blue, I think you should put some shading. Other that that, This is a REALLY good image! Diagram: [[File:LionstarDiagram.png]] --MUMBLE785 20:38, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Since my Rainsplash was pretty much done, I decided to start another. It was my first try at a tabby, and I tried to get the more natural look that ones like the Mintfur picture had (Because the 'bunch of Ys' marking on many tabby chararts look a bit strange to me... they look like veins) and it looked okay at first, then I ran into some trouble with making the shading look even, because it made the markings look less distinct... but I figured I'd put it up here so I could get tips on how to fix that. [[File:Longtail Elders.png]]

(M) - I'm back! Did you miss me?

...Yea, probably not. :P

Anyways, I feel bad for Longtail. He was forced to become an elder way too early because of his blindness. Also, he proves that even if you have done the wrong thing in the past, you can still do the right thing.

His description is so confusing! Gah! *Brain implodes* How can you have a pale tabby tom with dark black stripes? I made him a silver tabby because that is the only way I could see a tabby having black stripes. I can easily change the color if I need to. Oh, and I used striped tabby markings instead of classic this time becuase of him having dark black stripes. To show his blindness I made his pupil a very pale shade of gray. MosswhiskerAndStealthfire 12:45, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

I love him! A few things

  • Try changing him to pale brown tabby, if it doesn't look good just keep it gray
  • I can barely see the eye color, try darkening it a little?

(M) - So what do I need to fix? ;) MosswhiskerAndStealthfire 21:49, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Longtail isn't gray... it may look weird for him to be a pale tabby with black stripes, but that's what he really is...Is there a ref anywhere that says he's gray? This looks like Darkstripe, except he never lived long enough to be an elder. --Bramble My Realm 00:26, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Bramble ~ Ha, he does look like Darkstripe! I posted a second version, this one brown with black stripes. MosswhiskerAndStealthfire 15:28, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

The second one looks alot more like Longtail. I don't think that anyone reserved Darkstripe. Mabie you could do Darkstripe when Longtail is apporved/declined with the tabby markings, If you want to of corse. The only thing I can see is I can't see his eye pupul. --User:Spottedwing 17:11, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

He's awesome, exactly how I pictured Longtail. :) I removed the gray one, and I think you showed his blindness pretty well. The only thing I see is that the black patch on the end of his tail is too black; you can't see the lineart against it. Just make it a touch lighter, and Longtail'll be good to go. If no one else is doing him, you should try his warrior version. --Bramble My Realm 20:05, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Bramble ~ The darkness on the tail comes from my excessive over-shading. :) It should be fixed now. No, I think it's ready.Minnowclaw 13:05, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Minnowclaw

I'll agree with that. Comments before approval? --Bramble My Realm 14:28, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Cloudtail (A) - Approved

[[File:Cloudpaw.png]] I always liked Cloudtail as an apprentice. I don't know why the background came out black. Can anyone tell me how to make it transparent? --Spottedwing 00:22, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Put the blank on pixlr in the first place. Boltstar 01:29, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

(M) - I made the background transparent for you. (Always save images as .png) Your shading needs blended alot more and the nose shouldn't be pink. MosswhiskerAndStealthfire 19:19, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Add shading on the top of the head, the chest, curve of the hindleg and then blend it all in to the pelt for a smooth finish. The nose needs to be black and the ear pink needs to be more central and triangular. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 19:37, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

I took a close look at Tinypaw and added shading and redid the nose and eye. --Spottedwing 00:06, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Blend the shading in and this'll look good - it needs to be thicker and blended and try and fill the gap between the shading and lineart with shading too as it looks a little strange. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 18:20, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Filled in the gap. I'll get to the shading tomarrow. --Spottedwing 23:21, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Fixed the shading. --Spottedwing 00:14, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Please comment User:Spottedwing 02:15, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

The shading is a bit too thick and dark on the top of the head; lighten it and decrease it a little bit. Also blur all your current shading, but be careful not to hit the lineart. --Bramble My Realm 02:36, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Done. Is there anything else? --User:Spottedwing 03:18, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

I fixed the lineart on the top of the head because it was smeared. Is there anything else? --Spottedwing 17:02, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Looks great to me. Comments before approval? Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 14:04, 13 August 2009 (UT C)

Time to be approved! Since I am helping with getting ready for tweak week, I am gonna approve this and move it over Hawkfire ♫ Go Aggies! 17:30, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Rogue Blanks- For Approved

Well the fur is very messy... but they are strays, right?-- Darkhallows  Lair 02:47, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Oops! Rainpelt had called them... I've messaged him about it. Sorry...-- Darkhallows  Lair 03:04, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Oh, these are really nice! Also, I can see these more as loner's than rouges...maybe you should take to Hawkfire about that possibility. *Shrug* MosswhiskerAndStealthfire 19:20, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

  • snicker* im a boy. anyway, put on a scourge collars --rainpelt

(M) - I wouldn't put on collars; very few rouges have them. Also, make sure the lineart is the same for all of them. MosswhiskerAndStealthfire 23:58, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

They don't need collars - as far as I'm aware the only rogues with collars are BloodClan - when users make the BloodClan cats they can add collars of their own as each cat will have a different collar anyway and not all rogues have collars as Moss quite rightly said. Just take a look at the whiskers and eyes as they are all different shapes etc and need to be the same style on each (excepting the subtle gender difference of course) Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 15:18, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

All right, I think it's better now. I changed the paws too, they were bothering me. Here is a colored example (though it was before I changed them) Ice-- Darkhallows  Lair 22:51, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

I really like these. I don't see anything wrong. These may become the quickest approved blanks.. ever lol. Any other comments? Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 11:22, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

They look pretty good. --Blackclaw09 20:12, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Okay then! Approval in 24 hours. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 20:00, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Wait!!! I found something: You need to split each cat into one image. I may be wrong, but the two females are one image, and the two males are one image. There needs to be four images, not two. ;) --MUMBLE785 20:57, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Could you round off the shorthaired's tails? They're ab-normally pointed. Also, maybe you could give them some claws, simply becuase thinking of cats like Scourge or Bone in these blanks seem strange. It's just a suggestion though. *Shrug* MosswhiskerAndStealthfire 20:48, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

I wouldn't add claws because that's just Scourge and Bone, Not all loners. What about Barley and Ravenpaw? I also think the tails are fine. I think that the lie-art is fine, but they need to be split into four images. --MUMBLE785 19:35, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

(M) - I wasn't saying that they needed to be super-long dog claws, I was just thinking regular cat claws. All cats have claws (except for kittypets, who could be de-clawed.) MosswhiskerAndStealthfire 21:41, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh... But, wouldn't they keep their claws sheathed unless they were fighting? :/ --MUMBLE785 21:55, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

(M) - It was just I suggestion. Oh, and tilt the whiskers upward a bit. MosswhiskerAndStealthfire 22:50, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

I think they look good without claws, but the whiskers do need to be tilted upwards, and maybe make them only have two so it's consistent with the other images. I also think the females' eyes need to be thickened similarly to the males, just with the feminine look. --Bramble My Realm 00:33, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh, and the ears are a little bit too big to me, --MUMBLE785 19:46, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

I changed the whiskers and eyes. The ears were very awkward looking at a smaller size, so I kept them the same. Also, the images are separate.-- Darkhallows  Lair 08:52, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Personally, I think these are ready for approval. Mosswhisker and Steatlhfire 19:10, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

You're right Moss. Comments before approval in 24 hours? Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 08:30, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

None; approved. I'm going to rename these files before adding them with the other blanks as they currently read 'rougue blanks' lol Nice work Shady Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 14:09, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Pouncetail (A) - Approved

[[File:Pouncepaw.png]] I used the same colours as I did for Pouncetail and tried to match the layout of patches. Constructments? Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 11:26, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Very nice! Just like his warrior version. :) Darken the shading a bit, and once again the background needs to be transparent. ^_^ Mosswhisker and Steatlhfire 14:13, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Oops... sorry Moss (I am such a mousebrain). Done Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 16:05, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

All I can see is that on his haunch with the orange patch you have the shading, then a normal part, then it gets dark. Does that need to be fixed?Minnowclaw 12:39, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Minnowclaw

It goes Shading, highlight and then normal. I'll fix it later whne I get to my own computer to make it less of a sharp transition. Thanks Minnow Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 13:41, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Okay. I've blended it in as much as possible. Better? Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 08:39, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

He's great. (transparency needed, though :) Comments before approval? --Bramble My Realm 15:51, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Ok, hopefully if this is approved it will be my 10th! comments?Sandwich989 20:34, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Technicaly, he was never shown as an apprentice. Boltstar 20:37, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

He was never seen as an apprentice (I think), but I know he was mentioned as one. Maybe add some shading to his tail and legs, they look very flat. --Skyfeather '95 20:59, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

He was seen as an apprentice. Snowfur spends his vigil by his side in Secrets of the Clans. Anyway, it doesn't matter. We need all characters in all past and current forms. About the image: I agree with skyfeather about the shading. It's very good other than that. ;) --MUMBLE785MAN-EATING KITTEHS! 22:24, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

I agree with Skyfeather, and Mumble. Also, maybe add some shading on the top of his head. By the way, this is really good. =) --HoneyfurBob's Your Uncle! 17:20, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Fixed. Sandwich989 21:16, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Add some shading to the top of the head and the foreleg and hindleg facing away from us. Mosswhisker and Steatlhfire 23:54, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Added. Sandwich989 08:12, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't have much to say about this other than that he's my first elder. Any comments...?

(M) - Blur everything thoroughly. (Mumblefoot. Heh, his name cracks me up. ^_^) Mosswhisker and Steatlhfire 17:35, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Like Moss said, it needs blending. x3 Really good, though.--Warrior♥Warrior's Den 20:12, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

That band of shading around the neck looks like a collar, You could probably take that out. Other than that, blend, and it looks great. --Bramble My Realm 02:35, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Updated it, and blended it a bit. Is it better now? --♫ insaneular ♫ 23:53, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Hawkheart.mc It's Hawkheart! I don't like him at all, but he was the only dark brown tom med cat I could find.--Warrior♥Warrior's Den 00:52, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Make the ear pink smaller and extend the belly shading to meet the back shading. Lighten the herbs on both ends so you keep the contrast but so that it can be seen as it's very dark on the bottom. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 11:36, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Better?--Warrior♥Warrior's Den 15:00, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

I think he is ready to be approved. Nice Warrior.Minnowclaw 12:40, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Minnowclaw
