Well, Bluestar has to be my favorite cat, so I did her kit and apprentice forms. Here's her kit charart. Anything that needs to be fixed? --Quiet!... 20:08, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

This looks great! The ear pink looks too triangular, try blending it more. --Rainwhisker09 20:14, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

Okay, my secopnd image up. I hope it doesn't look like I copied it. I opened my version, then opened the new warrior version in a diffrent page, then tried to make it look as similiar as possible. Well, here it is: Mossflight 06:59, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

Blend the shading on the hind leg and back as it is very visible. But very nice!*Swallowtip * EMBRACE THE TIP! 13:44, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

In addition to the minor problems above, there's a white pixel on his chest, too. Other than that, he looks wonderful! (: --Quiet!... 20:31, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

I agree with the others, but as I said on the warrior version - do you think you could add some soft highlights? -- Dawnfeather  talk! 10:09, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

So many rogues up! I guess we all like out-of-clan cats. He looks a little silver as opposed to brown.-- Darkhallows  My den 10:04, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

I've purposely made the shading weird, well, rather the highlighting, because maybe he went to see a moonstone or an intense light on the ground during his time as a rogue as he was prophecised to lead ShadowClan. Just a random thought. Is it too light? -- Dawnfeather  talk! 10:18, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

This is really great for your first tabby! I don't see anything wrong with the stripes, personally. You could make the shading a bit darker, though.  Sparrowsong  Madly Blooming Princess 16:51, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

I always pictured him a bit more gingerish, but it never specifies it in a book :P The tabby markings are great! Just add a bit more shading and blur everything (including the tabby markings, but only a little bit so they look natural. Don't smudge them into blurry messes) ♫ insaneular ♫Down at Fraggle Rock! 19:48, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

There is not much wrong with the image, but where does it say he is tabby? His official description is a bracken-colored tom, and I never remember him being mentioned as a tabby. Book reference? --Bramble My Realm 21:14, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

In the Into the Wild allegiances, he is a reddish brown tom. In the prologue of Forest of Secrets, he is mentioned as a bracken-colored tom. I didn't read anything before about Oakheart being a tabby. --Rainwhisker09 13:46, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

I've never seen him as a tabby either... I also think he needs to be slightly more red. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 17:59, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

Reddish-brown is basically the same as ginger, and virtually all ginger cats are tabbies. I think the tabby markings should stay.  Sparrowsong  Madly Blooming Princess 19:08, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

Russetfur wasn't made as a tabby. If his definition is bracken-colored tom, then there should be no tabby stripes. We'll keep realism out of the picture for now. The people who look here don't care overly much. :) --Bramble My Realm 21:02, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Anything else I need to change? Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 22:51, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

The only thing that bugs me is that the shading seems more darkly saturated and sort of blotchy on the pelt than showing where shadow is. Make the shading more natural, than she'll be good. --Bramble My Realm 02:31, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

The definition of saturation is soaked, impregnated, or imbued thoroughly; charged thoroughly or completely; of maximum chroma or purity; of the highest intensity of hue; free from a mixture of white. Can you tell I got that straight from Dictionary.com? =) Anyways, basically just make it less... wet-looking. There should be a sponge tool somewhere; set it to desaturate and go over the shading. --Bramble My Realm 20:58, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Thanks Brable! I knew what saturation is, but I wasn't sure how it's used in shading. So I desaturated the shading, and discovered a way to use the dodge tool as a lighten shading tool bascally, so I lightened the shading in a few places. Then I blurred the shading a bit more. Better? I don't have my copy on me but it says something like: "...named her Rosekit because of the red spots on her tail." and "the tabby warrior"/"the red-tailed warrior." and her mother was Poppydawn. Heh, I actually paid close attention to her part because I quite enjoyed her character.-- Darkhallows  My den 10:17, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

Hmm...I don't think I can change her to brown without completely redoing the image. Perhaps I could add some darker ginger spots on her tail?  Sparrowsong  Madly Blooming Princess 23:07, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

It also mentions her having a "pinky-orange" tail.. I wish they had kept her description strait. "The red-tailed warrior changed the subject..." I thought that it was just her tail that was orange-pinkish, and that the rest of her fur was tortoiseshell or white or something, like Sweetpaw and Thistleclaw. But I think this pic will be fine. It looks great! Icethroat21Enter at risk 21:29, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

I don't mean to sound demanding and I know you guys must be busy, but it's been over 24 hours.  Sparrowsong  Madly Blooming Princess 19:27, September 12, 2009 (UTC)

You are right, but I have a comment to add (sorry). The shading really does need to be blurred into the pelt more. There's too hard of a line. --Bramble My Realm 01:33, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

Better?  Sparrowsong  Madly Blooming Princess 17:19, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

Looks much better, but try blending it just a tad bit more. Just a bit more blending so it's not such a hard line, and it should be fine. Icethroat21Enter at risk 18:43, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

I blended it more. I accidentally blurred some of the stripes more, too - hope that's ok.  Sparrowsong  Madly Blooming Princess 19:33, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

She's cute Swallowtip! I'm like half asleep and the only thing I see is the eye doesn't have a pupil.-- Darkhallows  Lair 14:32, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded I added a black spot to make the pupil more noticeable, better?*Swallowtip * EMBRACE THE TIP! 14:41, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

Is the nose supposed to be pink? I thought we made them black (except for the queen blanks). --Rainwhisker09 15:15, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - This is great for your first image! Blackclaw, the noses should be pink if on the blanks they are not colored in black. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 18:20, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

The brown under the ear cuts off in an abrupt line, can you smooth this out a little? Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 18:25, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

It's GREAT! The only thing I can see is that he needs the white paw, and that his right ear (our left) shouldn't have pink. Other than that, I absolutely love this.  Sparrowsong  Madly Blooming Princess 21:53, September 12, 2009 (UTC)

The white paw looks very good, lots better! Pandasong Pandasong's Talk Page 00:07, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

oops, I thought I was doing scourge! (NVM yours a lot better)X3 he has a dark purple collar -- ☆Brackenstorm☆ X3 00:09, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Very good! Just a few things though. Like Bracken said, the collar is dark purple, and it looks like it has spikes right now. It actually has dog teath, which would be longer, curved, and would be flipped in different directions. Very good image though! Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 14:18, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

The single white paw looks more of a light-gray-silverish color, rather than white. And as Mosswhisker said above, purple color, bigger teeth, etc. Otherwise, this looks great! Icethroat21Enter at risk 00:10, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

The paw is shaded, so that's why it's not pure white. But, I'll get to work on the changes. ; ) Also, If I am inactive, please excuse my abcense as my schoolwork pushes most of my computer time into my weekends. I'll try to get on more often, sooo... Ratscar - Approved

[[File:RatscarV2(2).png]] Alright, this is my first charart! Well, what do you think? I feel like I need a lot more shading, and I think that the scar looks a little weird...Icethroat21Hi, how's the prey running? 20:15, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, the scar looks strange, you should blend it a little bit, add some more shading and then blur it, otherwise......it looks okay. -- Peacesong Click Here To Go To........My Talk Page 22:43, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - This is good for your first image! For the scar, lighten it so it's more pink, blur it thoroghly, and try putting it horazontally across the back. Lighten the ear pink and blur it too. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 23:20, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded! Okay, what else can I do to improve? I feel like I went crazy on the shading, and that the scar is too big, but I'm not really sure how to make it any smaller without destroying some of the shading, or the scar itself. Can anybody give me any suggestions, and tell me what you think? Icethroat21Hi, how's the prey running? 00:59, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

Alright, since no one has said anything yet, can I just ask about the shading? I think I got it too dark, and I'm thinking if I could have gone without the highlights or not... Icethroat21Hi, how's the prey running? 21:07, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Whoops, sorry. Lighten the shading, as it is pretty dark right now, and try making the scar a little shorter, just past the edge of your image. Also, make the eye more like the other approved warrior's eyes. Then we'll work on shading. ;) Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 22:46, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded. Okay, I made the scar shorter, and I tried to make the shading a little less dark by blurring it a little more, but I think it looks messier now. And I tried doing what you said about the eye, too. Anything else besides needing to make the shading even brighter? I'm not sure how to make it any brighter than it is now. Any suggestions? Icethroat21Hi, how's the prey running? 23:40, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - To lighten the shading you run the dodge tool - a black stick with a black ball - over your shading. I can fix it if you want me too. And the ear pink is much to bright; use a color simalar to other brown cats. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 22:45, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded. I fixed the ear pink, or at least tried to, and I tried to make the shading brighter. Do I need to make it even brighter? Icethroat21Enter at risk 23:43, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Select the dodge tool, and in the box and the top set it to shadows. Then bring the stength down to 7. That should lighten the shading. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 19:18, September 11, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded! Is the shading bright enough? Icethroat21Enter at risk 20:10, September 11, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Getting there! Lighten it a bit more though. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 19:57, September 12, 2009 (UTC)

He's awesome, Icethroat! The things I see though, is that you may want to blend it some more, and I thought I saw a little bit of blurred lineart somewhere... *shrugs* Maybe not. --MUMBLE785MAN-EATING KITTEHS! 21:37, September 12, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded! I brightened and blended the shading a lot more. Or, at least tried to, anyway. Well, what do you think? And yes, there was some blended lineart, Mumble, I tried to fix it, but I'm not sure if it worked or not. How did I do? Is the shading bright enough, Mosswhisker? Icethroat21Enter at risk 00:37, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

Your shading is a sickly grey colour and the whole image is blotchy. You need to take all the shading off and start over, using the burn tool at about 50% and running is once down the appropriate areas. Don't put shading around the outside of the ear pink as this just looks messy and like you've smudged the lineart. Then blend it all in. The shading should look a darker brown, not grey. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 16:03, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

REUPLOADED. I started everything over from scratch, and redid the shading like you said. Instead of using the smudge tool, which I've learned not to use, I used different shades of brown and brought them together, and then blended them. Does it look any better? How did I do? Icethroat21Enter at risk 23:48, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

Beautiful. Much better, he looks like a new cat. Just increase the amount of shading on the main body and blur it as well as the shading on the tail. --Bramble My Realm 01:07, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, Bramble! I'm afraid I don't have time to work on the image until tomorrow after school and homework, but I promise I'll get to it soon! Icethroat21Enter at risk 01:23, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded. Scratch that, I found just a little bit of time to work on it. I added a lot more shading, but I didn't add any on the muzzle or the top of the head. Do I need any on the top of the head? Icethroat21Enter at risk 01:51, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - This is really looking nice! Blur your shading more (Be careful not to hit the lineart!), and add some in the middle of the back like on Bluefur. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 23:08, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, Mosswhisker! I'll get to it sometime tomorrow after school and stuff. :) By the way, were you talking about Bluefur warrior or deputy? (and what did you mean by back line?) Icethroat21Enter at risk 01:36, September 15, 2009 (UTC)

REUPLOADED. Okay, I blended the shading some, and tried to make the transition between the shading and the normal fur a bit lighter and not as hard. But I'm still not certain what you mean by the back line. (I know, probably something obvious that I am once again missing.) Well, what else needs improved? Icethroat21Enter at risk 21:21, September 15, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - I meant the deputy version. :) And I said "on the back like". Just add shading in the middle, basically. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 21:25, September 15, 2009 (UTC)

Oh, sorry, my bad. *face-palm* Okay, I'll get to that and reupload it soon! Icethroat21Enter at risk 21:33, September 15, 2009 (UTC)

**REUPLOADED** I think I did the right thing...if not, let me know. But I think I added the right thing, with the back and all...how does it look? Icethroat21Enter at risk 22:07, September 15, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Perfect! Just darken the new shading a smidge. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 23:00, September 16, 2009 (UTC)
