Well yes, that is kind of what I mean. It needs to be not just darker but a little thicker and blur it really well so it actually looks like shadows on his pelt. Some good examples of how the shading needs to look are Shadepelt and Rushtail's image which is currently up for approval. (I can't think of any more off the top of my head, sorry) It's not exactly just darker; it needs to look like a part of the pelt. I really hope that made some sense. I have a few, if slightly picky things. Firstly, the shading could be thickened a little more as it's hugging the lineart very closely at present and could look more like shadows if it was slightly thicker. Secondly, there doesn't need to be shading on the top of the muzzle. The ear pink is also quite large and needs to be smaller for a black cat. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 16:36, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

Comments before approval in 24 hours? (Yay I said it!)--*Minnowclaw* 20:05, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

The shading on the paws is very messy, and part of it is only lapping at the lineart. On the hind leg that we can see, the shading would be better if it was on the bottom of the entire leg. Also, the shading on the top of the head between the muzzle and ear could be thickened some, and, personal opinion, it would look better if there was some shading on the back of the tail (use the burn tool once or twice on our right half of the tail vertically, blur, and it should be fine). Other than that, this looks very good. --Icethroat21Enter at risk 00:33, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

Fixed. Spottedwing 00:43, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

The tabby stripes don't look very tabby. Try making some of them Y shaped and more wavy so they don't look like lines. Also, blur all of the shading more.--*Minnowclaw* 00:12, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

I did not have to make y ones and this is good.  Brambleclaw14 Talk 05:54, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

You need to add some markings on the chest and some other places that don't have any. Also, I'd try and vary the markings a little (not necessarily y shapes but maybe some differences in length without it being in a pattern of all long down the side and all short in the middle) and lessen the number of stripes on the tail as it looks a bit crowded. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 19:02, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

Okay I'll do that. Besides the chest which places don't have stripes? I put them just about everywhere else. --Ashstar My Clan 20:33, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

Brambleclaw14: Yes I no that they are don't need to be y's, but as Sandy said it's good to change them up a bit as they look like there in a pattern.--*Minnowclaw* 23:04, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

I can't really see the shading, can you make it darker and also blur it in more. I still have a slight misgiving about the stripes as well... they don't really look natural. Try looking at either Bramble's work (Swallowtail and Webfoot are good examples) or Dawn's style (Rowanclaw and Tigerstar) and attempt to emulate either style. The shading on the neck needs blurred some more. The tabby stripes look much better. Also, you could add some shading on the top of the head, between the ears and the muzzle. If the shading's already there on the head, then it needs darkened. --Icethroat21Enter at risk 03:44, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded I tried. the shading on the head was really hard to blur. Should I lighten it some to make it less standoutish? --Ashshadow My Clan 22:19, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

The shading on the head looks fine, but the shading on the neck still needs blurred some more. Use the dodge tool once or twice over it at 50% and then blur, and I think it should be good. --Icethroat21Enter at risk 03:22, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded. I darkened the neck shading. Look better? --Icethroat21Enter at risk 22:05, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

I just realized what I said. I meant to say thickened the neck shading, not darkened the neck shading. Silly me, I must have been half asleep. Both my parents have the flu, and here I am in my room making sure I stay away from the sickness while I stay here in my room, which is actually fine by me, leaving me to peace with my laptop. :) So anyways, I thickened the neck shading. Does it look any better? --Icethroat21Enter at risk 03:20, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

Well, this looks good to me. As for whether you should take it down or not... I'm not entirely sure because we've had images redone due to changing descriptions and so he does need an image that matches his description. I actually think this is ready anyway as there isn't much more you can do with a white cat, and the shading looks good on my cp at any rate. Bramble? The shading and highlights are beautiful! The tabby stripes need to be a bit larger though. Try varying the size and shape of them. And, this is optional, but maybe add some stripes that don't touch the lineart, but "float" inbetween the stripes that touch the lineart. I hope I'm not confusing you or anything. --HawktalonTalk 00:56, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded Ugg, I didn't like the ear pink.--*Minnowclaw* 02:09, November 6, 2009 (UTC)

This looks really good =) I'm going to try and put my list somewhere as soon as it's finished. It should be a few days (in theory). Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 07:03, November 6, 2009 (UTC)

Okay, go to my user page for a link to my list. 'Twas much quicker than I thought to complete. (I neglect my homework...) The image: Add a highlight to the top edge of the tail and strengthen the ones on the face and chest so they're the same as the one on the flank. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 20:52, November 6, 2009 (UTC)

Sorry I haven't been on much. I'm sick (>;-;<) <----- (yay odd emoticon!) anyway, here he is.--*Minnowclaw* 23:49, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

Hope you feel better soon, Minnow. On the image; looks awesome, just blur the ear pink. --Bramble-san 17:24, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

O.O Get well soon Minnow!--Mossy SC 23:14, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

(S) - Her haunch seems very round, I think it's because of the highlight being where it is. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 18:28, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

Uggg! I'm better now, but I'm so busy, (goes and hits mission out reach president with the money with earned, science teacher with a microscope, upper school chorus teacher with the piano and math teacher with a dog, (I took that from bramble!) ) Stealthfire, well, a cats haunch in round, so....--*Minnowclaw* 23:18, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

Lol, Minnow! I think the haunch looks fine, but the ear pink looks a bit too...circular. Try adding just a little bit to the top, to finish it off in more a triangular shape with the ear. Not much, but just a little. Great job! --Icethroat21Enter at risk 03:26, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

I like it! Its cool --Shenzi100 18:51, November 15, 2009 (UTC) ShEnZi100

Looks good to me. Comments before approval? (And Minnow, I don't think it's necessary that you must join the project to comment; you just have to be a member of the WWiki. Of course, If you want to join Shenzi, you're more than welcome to) Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 19:54, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

(S) - XP Sorry, I'm been busy being dumb lately. Ignore that. It looks great! Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 22:19, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

LOL Sandy. I wanted to reply to what you said and when I went to log in I typed Sandy for my user name and my reply for the password. Anyway, what I put in as my password was: Oh, that's what I was told back int he faraway time when I first joined and Bramble was only a new leader just starting out. Hollowbelly.warrior I'm pretty proud of this image, actually, but I guess I'll wait to say anything until I get everyone else's opinions. :) I'm not sure if I went crazy on the highlights or not...Comments and suggestions? --Icy-chan 23:17, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

Awesome!!! All i see is the eye is very bright. Maybe use the dodge tool or something 'cause i think it's a little too bright for the cat. Otherwise than that, great job!!! --Honeyrose34 23:25, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded. The dodge tool would just make the image brighter, and the burn tool would be too dark, so I just changed the color of the green to a darker green and filled it back in with the paint bucket. Better? --Icy-chan 23:35, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

Oh, sorry. Yeah, it looks much better. Great job!! -- Honeyrose34 00:34, November 17, 2009 (UTC)

File:Sparrowpelt(SkC).warrior.png Okay, so I'm really sorry Shady but I checked the timings of the reservations and I did have him on my current projects before you. I would have let you have him but I'd already made him... Construtments? Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 17:43, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

Darken the stripes so it's easier to distinguish them from the pelt better.--*Minnowclaw* 20:14, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

lol. How did I know I'd never get the stripes right? I made them as dark as Braveheart's to start with, but I guess it goes to show how even two images so similar and made in exactly the same way can be so different. I went over them with the burn tool. Any better? Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 20:23, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

No problem Sandy. I thought I had checked. --Darkhallows 22:46, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

File:Sweetpaw.png um... not much to say... I don't even know her character as I haven't read Bluestar's Prophecy but she needed an image and wasn't reserved so... constructments? Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 17:43, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

Well, I don't know how to do torties and I am terrible at the, but this is great from what I can see besides the ear pink is very fadded into the pelt.--*Minnowclaw* 20:10, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks Minnow. I know what you mean about torties... I suck, but I think I'm getting there. Reuploaded. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 20:21, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

Nice, Sandy! But she needs more white since she is tortoiseshell-and-white; this looks like a regular tortie, which is usually mostly black/dark brown with small ginger blotches and maybe a little bit of white, while tortoiseshell-and-white cats have a significant amount of white on them. Often, they're just white cats with black and orange patches here and there. Here are some pictures of tortoiseshell-and-white/calico cats: Hope that helps! :) Sparrowsong 22:07, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

This isn't too bad, but the ginger looks too yellowish, and needs to be more ginger. Also, someone must have added a partially incorrect description for Sweetpaw. Right here where I have BP with me, on page 47 is specifically says "...And Sweetkit, who white with tortoiseshell patches, was named after Pinestar's mother, Sweetbriar...", so there needs to be a lot more white, and as I said before, the ginger needs to be more ginger than yellow. This looks like a great start, though! --Icethroat21Enter at risk 02:23, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

I'm glad it wasn't too bad Icethroat ^_^ I'm sorry, but I had to rely on the description on her page so I had a different image of her in my mind than the one that I got from reading that quote. I've completely redone her image and started with a white base as opposed to a black one. I tried to base it on the images you posted, (thank you Sparrowsong) but I'm not sure how well it turned out... anyways (a definite americanism there...), I used a more orangey ginger this time so constructments? Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 12:17, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Great! Much better! Add some shading on the white part of the pelt, and darken the back ear, and this should be ready. --Icethroat21Enter at risk 15:47, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Okay, there was already shading on the white but I darkened it. And blah blah, I have nothing to say for the ear, i fixed it. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 16:16, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Fantastic! Just lighten the ear pink some, and it should be good; the ear pink's just a little too dark right now. The dodge tool once or twice should do the trick. Great job! --Icethroat21Enter at risk 16:26, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 20:01, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Yayy Sandy! ^.^ Nice work, it's just my opinion, but I think it's pretty much ready. (But who am I to say that?)--Mossy SC 21:52, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks Mossy, everyone's opinion is valuable. x Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 22:00, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

) Thanks!--Moss SC 22:01, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

There's some blurred lineart on one of the hind legs, it sort of blends in with the black patch, but if you look at it closely, you can tell that the lineart is blurred. Aside from that, I also think that this is ready. --Icethroat21Enter at risk 01:06, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

There's also two white pixels on the back hind leg that you forgot to color in ginger. --Icethroat21Enter at risk 03:06, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded. I think I got it. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 14:53, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

Yup, you got it. In my opinion this is ready. --Icy-chan 19:27, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

I see that at the bottom of her back foot, their is a black smudge there. Also at some places, the coloring goes over the lines. Just thought that i should mention that before it's approved. Glad i could help.

Thank you to whoever that was. The black I think you're talking about is part of the lineart... it's always been there although I'm not sure why. If that's not what you meant then please clarify. The colours outside the lines, I've had a look and I can't see where you mean, can you tell me where exactly? Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 22:01, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

oops!! That was me. I still can't get used to putting that at the end of everything i do!!! Anyway, yeah, that was me Sandy!! --Honeyrose34 23:29, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

Yes! This is absolutely beautiful! The only thing I can see is that the ear pink is way too bright, try making it more of a reddish color like on some of the other approved brown cats. Other than that, this is great! Great job on the tail! --Icy-chan 13:46, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

Very good! Just do what Icethroat said, and fix the areas that have blurred lineart (neck, top of muzzle, etc.) --Rainwhisker09 16:00, November 15, 2009 (UTC)
