Wow, Shady... I'll never learn how to do that furry effect like you do... *drowns in awesomeness* The only thing is that the shading should be darkened a bit. --EchomistTalkContribs 13:15, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

I can't see the shading on the white parts and on the tip of her tail and rear legs look black. Lighten them up to look like a dark gray like the others.--*Minnowclaw* 23:59, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

Alright, played with the shading.-Darkhallows 09:46, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

I think, If you slightly darken the shading (and thicken the shading on the back of the hind leg) it should be good. Nice job! :) P.S. Sorry I couldn't help with the sig, nice one!--Mossy SC 23:35, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

she's REALLY good!!1just add a little more of highlights and make the ear pink.HiddensunTalk 23:36, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

Do I have to add a highlight? I'm not very good at them. I'll get to the shading and ear pink in a few. P.S. Its okay Mosspath, Icethroat helped me.--AshshadowMy Clan 23:40, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

well not really but either make some parts darker or lighther.HiddensunTalk 23:41, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

I don't really understand what you're saying. Can you explain please?--AshshadowMy Clan 23:43, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

Good. Okay, I think i know what Sunny means. If you add a highlight in the middle of the body, it'll make the shading look darker.--Mossy SC 23:59, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

Add ear pink. If it's there it's way to dark. Also blur the shading. Other then that, it looks really good. --Spottedwing 03:00, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded Sorry the earpink slipped my mind. Is this better, I darkened the shading some.--AshshadowMy Clan 23:04, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, but this is very dark and I can't see much, can you lighten it up a bit?--♥Halloweenclaw 13:24, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

3 s;okay...like Minnow said, he IS a bit too dark so, I suggest you probably start out as a dark gray'ish coulour, then add shading 'till it looks black :3-- ☆Pebble☆ X3 21:15, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

Isn't he supposed to be black? But I'll lighten it anyway. --Hallow's Eve09 23:34, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

Yes he is black, but if it's too dark, we can't see and he might as well be purple.--*Minnowclaw* 02:34, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded Better, or should I lighten it more? I also blurred some of the shading and thinned it cause I thought it was too thick. --Rainwhisker09 17:33, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

Uploaded Better? --Rainwhisker09 23:00, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

The black is so dark that I can't see the lineart. Try running him over once or twice with the dodge tool to lighten the color. --EchomistTalkContribs 14:51, November 8, 2009 (UTC)

I already did that before, but I'll do it again. --Rainwhisker09 02:34, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

Uploaded I lightened the color, but I don't know if it's still hard to see the lineart. On my com it looks fine. --Rainwhisker09 23:59, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

(S) - I can sort of see the lineart, but I really like the way your eye looks. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 18:14, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

I can't see the lineart. I think it's because your shading is so dark. Did you do it with a black paintbrush or use the burn tool on highlights? If you did either then that's probably why - I find midtones burn tool better on a dark coloured cat as it keeps the distiction between the lineart and pelt. Try using the dodge tool to lighten the shading slightly then reapply the lineart over the top as a second layer (make sure all the white is transparent first). Also, the ear pink is too pale for a black cat - make it more of a rosy colour. You may also want to try adding some highlights with the dodge tool, just make sure you blend well. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 19:42, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

I'm just going to do it over again, because I can't lighten the shading at all. --Rainwhisker09 23:02, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

Nightwhisker98 Nightwhisker98 21:14, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

Nightwhisker, instead of putting every reply on the bottom of the page, please put it in the discussion you are replying to. (Does that make sense?) Also, don't use Paint for Chararts. Use pixlr instead. Here: http://www.pixlr.com/editor/ --Mossy SC 21:20, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

Honeyfur, add a little bit more shading to the back, belly, and legs, and she should be ready. Very nice job, she looks beautiful. --Bramble-san 17:13, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

File:Applefur.warrior.png Yay! Applekit comes back! But we still never know what happened to Marshkit. =( Anyway, here she is. I felt kind of bad cluttering up the page, but since Adderfang's in the "24-Hour-Stage", I thought you guys would be able to forgive me. =) Comments? --HoneyfurBob's Your Uncle! 21:03, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

This is good! I know that it's about the same color as her kit version, but make the ear pink brighter, but not too bright.--*Minnowclaw* 21:23, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

Better? Oh, and the reason her color is a little bit different from her kit version, is because she gets a new description in The Fourth Apprentice. --HoneyfurBob's Your Uncle! 21:38, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

That's dum. I mean the new description not you. Make the ear pink have more color as now it looks pale.--*Minnowclaw* 22:04, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry, Honeyfur, but we're not making any TFA characters until the actual book comes out. You can put this up once TFA comes out, but for now this will have to be temporarily declined. -- Echoshriek Trick or treat! 23:44, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

This is to Minnowclaw: I am slightly ashamed to say that I let the fact that Applefur had a false description slide. I just thought it was the most likely, and thinking that we'd never see her again thought it didn't matter. Truth is, I've never seen anywhere that Applekit was a dark ginger she-cat. --Bramble-san 00:00, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

What do we do now? I'm I in trouble?--*Minnowclaw* 00:11, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

You're not in trouble Minnow - it's my fault. I relied on the wiki page for her description. I have a plan though: 1. I'll redo her kit version so in co-insides with the accurate description. 2. I think the image is going to have to go to waste as I can't think of any other dark ginger kits... unless I can have the image back and try and do something with it? Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 14:03, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

Also, temporarily declined until TFA release (I'm glad I saw this because it's reminded me not to post Beetlewhisker yet!) Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 19:02, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

This is taking up space. Back up for critquing. However, when it is approved and archived, we just don't put the image on the page until TFA comes out. Compromise... gotta love it. :) --Bramble-san 22:48, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

Lol, Bramble! Yup, gotta love it. ^.^ For the image, the ear pink looks a bit odd being circular, and it's also gone outside of the ear. Try getting it back inside the ear, and more triangular-ish. Also, darken the shading on the chest and on top of the head some. --Icethroat21Enter at risk 01:52, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

How's this? --HoneyfurBob's Your Uncle! 21:41, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

Much better, but now can you darken the flecks? I can barely see the mottled-ness. --Icethroat21Enter at risk 01:44, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Please don't decline this. I'll try to work on it over the weekend. =) --HoneyfurBob's Your Uncle! 23:39, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

Okay; reuploaded. How's this? Or does she need more "mottledness"? --HoneyfurBob's Your Uncle! 16:32, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

ReuploadedI noticed that his discreption is now changed.--AshshadowMy Clan 00:37, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

Add some highlights if you can becuase he's black cat and that makes the shading hard to see.--*Minnowclaw* 02:59, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

I did add highlights. Should i just darken the shading some more?--AshshadowMy Clan 20:30, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

No, don't darken the shading, brighten the highlights. The highlights aren't bright enough, and look like the normal fur color. Also, add a highlight on the head, possibily between the eyes. make sure to keep the eyes the same color, but a highlight on the head would look good. Also, make sure you don't make the highlights too big, otherwise we won't be able to see the actual fur color. --Icy-chan 22:59, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

ReuploadedOkay I birghtened the highlights and added one to his head. Better?--AshshadowMy Clan 16:47, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

Uh uh. Wait. As Nightfall said, Reedstar doesn't have a description. I've checked Code of the Clans and changed the page. You can check Category:Leader to see if there's another cat you can submit this as. --Bramble-san 01:07, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

There's a leader in Code of the Clans named Darkstar, I think he was a leader of SkyClan, but I don't remember. All I know is he was the leader who came up with the "Leader's word is law" addition to the warrior code. Anyway, I don't know if had a description or not, but I seem to remember that this was how the book described him.--Nightfall101 01:18, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

Okay I've changed him to Troutstar. I'll repost the image later.--AshshadowMy Clan 20:36, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

I think it's awsome! And I agree too, Lilystem named her kit Crookedkit, so. But he grew up to be Crookedstar, and showed everybody! But his name could have been changed, Deadfoot probably was never Deadkit, that would be awful!--Nightfall101 21:47, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

Eww what kind of sick queen would name their kit Deadkit? I blame his leader for naming him Deadfoot. And this looks awesome now!!!--Moss SC 21:51, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, in an Erin Hunter chat, they said that Deadfoot's paw got messed up when a boulder fell on top of it at a very young age. So it could have been changed to Deadpaw at his apprentice ceremony--Nightfall101 21:55, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

Hm, that's possible. But, Tallstar was most likely the leader then. Based on his personality, I don't think he'd be that cruel. Perhaps Deadfoot chose to change his name, like Halftail or One-eye. --HawktalonTalk 22:11, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

True. Ya know, I don't really think the Erins put all this into account when creating his character=)--Nightfall101 22:24, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

This is beautiful! I love how you did the paw! But something makes me think that the foreleg with the deformed paw is longer than the other leg. Great job! --Rainwhisker09 19:25, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Thankies! And, the "deformed paw leg" is supposed to look longer than the other one because the normal foreleg is on the other side of the body, or something. In reality though, both legs are the same size. --HawktalonTalk 19:46, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Ok. Then don't mind what I said above about the leg. --Rainwhisker09 14:18, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

Also, blur the shading more.--*Minnowclaw* 00:00, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

Hows this? --Spottedwing 02:20, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

Comments? --Spottedwing 02:32, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

The shading's too dark, it needs lightened. Also, the ear pink needs to be longer in the ear, since the ear's big the ear pink has to be bigger with it. --Icethroat21Enter at risk 15:44, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Fixed the shading, made the ear pink longer, and because of my pickyness, I tweaked the eyes a little bit. What else? --Spottedwing 00:30, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

Blend the shading more and she'll be ready Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 16:13, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

Blur shading a bit more. Focus on the thigh the most.--*Minnowclaw* 23:32, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

Add some shading to the hind foot, as well as a small bit on (our) left of the head. And try blurring the shading some more, it seems too dark. Also, try thickening the shading on the stomach, or try adding some highlights. --Icy-chan 17:22, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Graymist (W) - For Approval

Graymist.warrior Well, my third tabby, my second recent tabby. How bad is it? --Icy-chan 23:15, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

She's great, but doesn't look very tabbyish as more stripish.(ugg Minnow has brain freeze and can't think!) --*Minnowclaw* 01:34, November 17, 2009 (UTC)

I pruposely made the tabby stripes stripe-ish. So...how would I fix them to look less stripe-ish? I tried to use an Echomist effect on the tabby stripes, but evidentally, I failed. (lol) How would I make the tabby stripes look better? --Icy-chan 02:07, November 17, 2009 (UTC)

Hiya! So...to make them more tabby...well, make some more wavy and irregular, and add some squiggles in between the lines. Also, you may want to make some y's. But that's optional.--Moss SC 00:18, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

Ya, what Mossy said.--*Minnowclaw* 03:01, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded. I kept the original one on the left, but put the new one on the right, because I wasn't sure which was better. Personally, I don't like the stripes on the second one at all, I don't think they look any realistic, but I'll see what everyone else thinks. :) --Icy-chan 22:53, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

I give the second one: <-(>^^<)-> (claps). Let's see what other people say.--*Minnowclaw* 23:23, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

I really like the first one!♥Shadowedheart♥♥Meow♥♥Prey♥ 10:54, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

I actually think the one on the left looks really good and a lot more realistic than the other. (ie. the first one) If you look at [2] I think the stripes are okay how they are as this tabby has very straight stripes... it just depends. (I typed 'tabby cats' into google images and this was like the 3rd image so...) Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 19:07, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

So which one should I keep up, the first one or the second one? --Icy-chan 21:44, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

I like the second one better, the stripes are more realistic--Nightfall101 21:46, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

I like the first one better. The stripes on the second one seem too big to me.--AshshadowMy Clan 22:05, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

I really like the second better! I agree with Nightfall. Icestorm May StarClan Light Your Path! 00:31, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks to everyone for your opinions, but I've looked at the picture Sandy provided, as well as some others, and I found a lot of striped tabbies, so I changed it back to just the first one being up for approval. So, now that that's decided, any more comments and suggestions? --Icy-chan 02:15, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

You could blur the ear pink. The stripes look great! --Rainwhisker09 14:22, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded. Blurred the ear pink. Anything else? --Icy-chan 16:24, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - See if you can blur the shading on the back anymore. Other than that, she looks great. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 21:59, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

Splashnose - For Approval

File:Splashnose.pngI felt kinda bad about cluttering up the page, but I figured that a few images are in the 24-hour stage already and it will be emptier fairly soon, so... here's Splashnose. The best name I can think of for a cat with a white splash on her nose, lol. Anyway, comments? --EchomistTalkContribs 15:49, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

Ooh, I like this one! I don't see anything wrong with it! What program do you use to color chararts, by the way? --HawktalonTalk 16:01, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

Fantastic as usual! The only thing I can see is that, this may be my computer, but there's some gray above her back and below her belly. --Icy-chan 16:21, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

This looks great! Icethroat is right though -the shading has darkened the background Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 16:23, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

~Reuploaded.~ Aw, thanks, guys =). Fixed the background. Oh, and Hawk, I use Pixlr. :) --EchomistTalkContribs 01:29, November 24, 2009 (UTC)

I use Pixlr, too! *flails* --HawktalonTalk 14:08, November 24, 2009 (UTC)
