I felt bad for him as we only see him in the allegiances and he's quickly forgotten. Then his name gets taken! lol Constructments?  Sandy Talk! 14:17, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Looks great, but maybe add a small bit of shading next to the ear on the head. I hope it makes sense...?--Warrior♥Warrior's Den 21:19, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Reedshine- Approved

I tried, and I'm pretty sure I got her fur color right on. Yay for Reedshine! <3 - Sandiwolf

It looks very, well, I can't really say. Oh, It looks like you went nuts with the sharpen tool.Minnowclaw 16:16, 23 June 2009 (UTC)Minnowclaw

I love the colour but Minnow is right; more blur tool neeeded all over! Alao, the ear pink needs to be, well, pink (but not too bright and make sure it's blended)  Sandy Talk! 18:26, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Also, she needs a puil and highlight in her eye. Take a look at the way some other approved warriors' eyes have been done for guidance.  Sandy Talk! 18:28, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

I blended the shading more, and added a much needed highlight and shade on the shoulder. I made the ear pink more distinct and added the pupil and highlight to the eye. Anything else?--Sandiwolf 19:27, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

It actually looked like you painted it! And did you use MS paint?Summer is here!!!!!!!!!! 19:45, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

I use MS Paint to make blanks (Which I won't be doing anymore). I use Gimp to color, because it's a lot more efficient for shading. --Sandiwolf 19:56, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Very vacker (I'm sorry, I have Swedish class and must practice; means beautiful). But that highlight that stretches out into the torso from the chest needs to be blended or taken out. --Bramble My Realm 23:20, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Thank you, and blended ;D --Sandiwolf 13:39, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

The ear looks darker around the edges. Maybe you could make it one color, then blend. GB57 15:38, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but, it still looks to sharp, and un-lifelike. Needs a lot more blending.Minnowclaw 15:13, 26 June 2009 (UTC)Minnowclaw

It looks like it out-lined in a lighter color, almost highlighted, and the shading is hard to see. The pelt looks like a mix of different colors with the shading and highlighting instead of natural. Try putting the shading on first and then the highlights, instead of the lighter color on the edge. ;]--Warrior♥Warrior's Den 16:29, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the tips, I'll be sure to take them in mind and fix the issues. --Sandiwolf 15:09, 27 June 2009 (UTC) Okay, how is it now? --Sandiwolf 15:20, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Better. You need to put some shading on the curve of the hindleg and the chest. Also there is some smudgy greyness on the muzzle...  Sandy Talk! 17:29, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Fixed. --Sandiwolf 18:11, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

She's purty... @.@ --MUMBLE785 16:30, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

I really like this, Sandiwolf. But the eye bugs me... it looks almost like an extremely lime green. Can you make it a touch more dark? And also, make the whole eye green, then make the top middle pixel a black pupil, then beside it add a white highlight. If that makes sense. --Bramble My Realm 17:38, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Fixed it, I think. xD --Sandiwolf 22:29, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Patchfoot - Approved

Patchfoot.warrior

I've been having a heck of a time getting his patches smudged and blurred evenly. It's the one on the hind leg that seems to hate me. If it needs any more work, let me know. --Goldencloud 18:05, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Played out the head, and messed with the hind leg patch more. I give up. If that patch is that horrible, I'll let someone else fix it. --Goldencloud 17:26, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Took the head off and stuck it on a previous version. How does it look now? --Goldencloud 23:19, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Could you play out the black patch on his head along the muzzle? It looks too circlish at the moment. But I'm glad he's back up, cause he's really good! --Bramble My Realm 18:19, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Yay, a Skyclan cat! I agree with Bramble on this one, but other than that I really like this. Mosswisker&Stealthfire 18:41, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Bramble Okay, will do. Thanks!
Mosswisker WOOT! SkyClan doesn't get enough love.
--Goldencloud 17:26, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

I think you're misunderstanding me, Goldie. I meant to play the black out along the snout, so like there is black on the snout connecting with the larger patch on his head. If that makes sense, I did my best to explain it. --Bramble My Realm 17:46, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

(M) - What I think Bramble's trying to say is take the black patch and extend it into a black tendril down to the end of the top on the snout. Mosswisker&Stealthfire 18:54, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Bramble and Mosswisker Is this what you meant? It looks kind of funny to me.
--Goldencloud 19:30, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Fallowkit - Approved

Fallowkit.kit

Don't laugh! I've never done a kit before. At first I shaded it with the light coming from the camera (Exhibit B) But I thought it looked kind of...blah...so I changed the light so it came from the left (Exhibit A). Personally, I like Exhibit A better, but I wasn't sure. Which one do you like more? Also on Exhibit A I'd like to add more highlight, but I wasn't sure where to put them. Help? --Goldencloud 17:55, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

EDIT1 I decided to go with exhibit A. I think it looks more interesting with the light coming from the side. And on the other one there was more hightlight/shadow that actually color, so it looked kind of cramped to me. As Sandy (I believe...) pointed out, most of the approved kits were shaded like exhibit B. I've never liked going with the crowd, although those kits were approved for their reasons... I may still switch back if these become more of a pain than they're worth. I'm in the process of fixing the eye, so no worries! --Goldencloud 23:38, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Even on kits you're amazing! I think exhibit A looks better lighting wise. Mosswisker&Stealthfire 19:09, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

I actually personally think exhibit B looks better, what does everyone else think? Maybe though, you could move the pupil to the middle of the eye, so it doesn't look like they're staring slantedly. --Bramble My Realm 23:21, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

I also like Exhibit B best (although they're both really nice). It looks more open and bright.  Sandy Talk! 08:22, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

I disagree with you Sandy. Personally, i think that B looks closed and cramped while A looks open and really nice. My only suggestion would to be to make the shading on the shoulder more blended out. -- Dawnfeather  talk! 09:52, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Hmmmm, looks like we're divided, Goldie. In this case I suppose we go with the one the artist, which is you, feels is better. Then we'll go from there. --Bramble My Realm 15:56, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

I like A better, just for the record. Very nice image Goldencloud.-- Darkhallows  Lair 17:36, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

I dunno... exhibit B is more in the style of the approved kits we already ahve whilst A looks like he's half in shadow - hiding under a rock or something... If you're determined to use A then I suggest softening the shading line a little so it doesn't look this way.  Sandy Talk! 15:23, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Mosswisker Amazing? I don't know about that. Thanks!
Bramble Acknowledged. Thank you!
Sandy Really? I thought B looked crowded, like there was more highlight and shadow than actual color.
Dawnfeather Shoulder: Blended. Thanks!

Badgerpaw- Approved

This is Badgerpaw from Code of the Clans. It's my first charart so it might not be good, but I tried to imitate the style of the accepted ones. What do you guys think?

♫ insaneular ♫ 22:04, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

I honestly see nothing wrong, except for the eye. It needs to have more color in it, a pupil, and a white pixel for a highlight to make it look alive. You can look at some of Dawnfeather's apprentice blanks for ref if need be. Great job! --Bramble My Realm 22:17, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Poor Badgerpaw.../sob/. Anyways, very nice for a first time! You just need to put in some ear pink and blend it throughly (the ear pink.) Also, I can't see any shading. Mosswisker&Stealthfire 22:24, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

I put a tiny bit of purple in the ear, but made it close to the black because it seemed weird for it to stand out a lot. If it's okay to have a bright pink, I'll change it. About the eye, The pixel fame of the eye is all black except one pixel, so I just filled in that pixel. Should I edit the eye itself so I can put more color? And I did put shading, but I blurred it a lot, because it seemed it was standing out too much. I can make it more distinct. (I can change all of this tomorrow night, apologies, but I'm on a different computer). Sorry for any stupid questions, I'm kinda new to this :P ♫ insaneular ♫ 23:25, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

For the apprentice eye (I did quite a few about a month ago :D) I leave the pixel that comes white the way it was, the pixel below it the desired eye colour, and the pixel two to the right of it the desired eye colour. The ear pink needs to be a dullish reddy pink colour, and it doesn't have to stand out, it just has to be visible. It shoudn't take up the entre speace of the ear, just a little bit. The shading and highlight are well done, but could probably be intensified a bit more so they can be found a bit easier. This is seriously the best first artwork I have ever seen Well done! -- Dawnfeather  talk! 23:55, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded I made the shading a bit more distinct, added ear pink, and colored the eye. I wasn't sure exactly how to make the eye, but it seemed okay. Comments? ♫ insaneular ♫ 22:45, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Add belly shading. Sandwich989 18:15, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Add a few darker stripes, that would make the charcat more interesting. And yes, a little more shading HawkfireRock and roll all nite! 18:58, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

No, don't add stripes. He's not a tabby, he's just a brown tom. And yes, I'm with Sandwich, add some more belly shading and on the chest area. He looks very good. --Bramble My Realm 19:14, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Also the ear iskind of fluro - choose a slightly less bright shade.  Sandy Talk! 19:20, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Updated- I made the ear pink darker, and I added belly shading. Anything else? Oh yeah:

Cannot be on for the next week since I have to go out of state. I will be no where near a comuter for the entire week, but starting next Thursday, maybe the Wednesday, I'll work on Oakfur again. I'll work on him again tonight if there's any other improvements you think would be good. Please do not take him down. Silvertree 17:23, 30 June, 2009 (UTC)

Extend the back shading down towards his bum and the chest shading towards his forepaws. Then add a little shading on his head and push the belly shading in a bit so it's following the line of the lineart. Blend it all a little and I think this'll look really good :)  Sandy Talk! 07:55, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Updated. Okay, I'm back. I extended the shadings. Anything else. Did I forget anything? Silvertree 21:13, 8 July, 2009 (UTC)

Make the ear pink a lighter pink color, and less like a ruby. You also need to add more shading on the lower chest area, more on the lower back near the tail, and also on the forelegs and far hind paw. Then just add a pupil into the center of the eye. --Bramble My Realm 01:42, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Updated- Lightened the ear pink, added what I hope I can pass off as a pupil, did more shading to the back and added paw-shading. I also thickened the chest-shading, since Sandy suggested I do so. Did I get it all? Silvertree 23:18, 8 July, 2009 (UTC)

Yep; also take off that point on the neck shading and, and blur the shading you have. Move the pupil over one pixel, and put a yellow pixel where it is now, it will look better. --Bramble My Realm 03:24, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Updated- Had a lot of trouble being satisfied with my eye, but I got over it. Did a lot of blending, but I don't know if you can tell. I hope you can. Silvertree 23:51, 8 July, 2009 (UTC)

The eye looks fine. I think that's all, you did a great job. :) Comments before approval? --Bramble My Realm 18:51, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Dawnfeather, sometimes I wonder why we don't just upload your images straight to the approved section, then go back and look for flaws. THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME. Here's Sunnytail as a deputy! I saw that someone has a file of her as a warrior already, and if it's up for approval I'll have to edit my deputy accordingly. You're telling me I should upload my things onto the main page, but THIS IS REALLY AMAZINGLY AWESOME! Approvalingnessment is needed here i thinks is needed here. -- Dawnfeather  talk! 06:21, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

If I wasn't leader I'd be just sitting her with my mouth dropped open and stare at that image for two whole hours. :) I'll just go with this: She is beautiful beautiful beautiful! The only thing I can see you tweaking is that neck shading; it stands out a bit because it's rather dark and sharpens to a point. Other than that, I'll repeat what Dawn said; approvalingnessment is needed here. lol. --Bramble My Realm 14:04, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Can I be the one that try's out the image so everyone can see what it looks like? MAybe in a day or 2? Sandwich989 22:45, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Sure! I'd like to try this out too, I think I'll do Tigerstar. The ultimate villian! --Mal Sorrel-Wolf 12:19, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

(M) - This is a much better pose for a leader than mine was. However, this should be smaller, and of course we need the other blanks (Long female, Long male, Short female) Also, I would suggest taking out that line in between the eyes and make two diagonal lines from the corners of the eyes going down to the nose. That should give it a more natural look. Mosswisker&Stealthfire 17:39, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Improtant
Could Bramble or someone else take responsibility for these? I can't do them as I'm not good at balnks and they show up black for me. If anyone could do these, it would eb apprciated. Thanks! --Mal Sorrel-Wolf 21:30, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Alright, since I believe Mallinois is allowing me to take responsibility for these; I would like to ask your opinions on one thing: Do we want to use this blank:

or this:

I personally like the first one better, but please post your opinions. --Bramble My Realm 21:09, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

I'd like to see the new one tested before I give my opinion. Where did the new one come from? Did you make it? Boltstar 21:25, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

(M) - I like the new one, but the ears are super huge compared to the head. Mosswisker&Stealthfire 21:32, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

I will definitely shrink the ears. And Bolt, this was the old version of Melonlemon's leader blank before the first one. I was going to do a char out of it, and saved it to my cp, but then she completely changed them. I always did like her first version better, though. So no, this is still Melonlemon's. And I can give you a test version. --Bramble My Realm 21:37, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Oh, and I'd almost just take the head of the old one and put it on the new. The old one's expression looks so wise. Mosswisker&Stealthfire 21:48, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

I liked your idea so much Moss that I used it. I took the eyes and the ears off the old one and put them on the new. And I also did Thunderstar for a test run. Changed the blank at the top and shrunk the two different blanks because they were taking up room. I realize the lineart does need to be thickened, but I'd like to deal with any tweakings that are needed with the structure first. Constructments? (you've started a fad, Sandy xD) --Bramble My Realm 04:23, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

I like the left one better. Good Thunderstar by the way. I would have never noticed that the eyes and ears were taken off of the one on the right if you didn't say it. The right (from our point of view) side of the mouth starts to turn into a smile, but the left doesn't, it looks kind of awkward. Boltstar 04:36, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

I thought I might help out. These blanks can be used. -- Dawnfeather  talk! 05:06, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

That line that comes down by the neck/shoulder which shows where the shoulder is is too far to (our) left. It needs to be back where that little thingy in the back is, a few pixels away. IThe shoulder doesn't look right with it just there. -- Dawnfeather  talk! 09:43, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

I tried what I think you meant, Dawn, but it looked horribly unnatural. I can try taking that line away altogether. I also uploaded all of the blanks, longhaired female and male and then the shorthaired female. You can view them at the top. --Bramble My Realm 17:05, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Ohh, these look great. :D However, they seem kind of big... could you shrink them a bit? Mosswisker&Stealthfire 18:55, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

I added another Windstar with an edited blank. It makes the shoulder look less awkard. It works better with colouring and shading the old one. What do you think? -- Dawnfeather  talk! 00:32, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

I don't like that as much, it looks unnatural to me. However, I did try and compensate, and moved the leg line up a little, so it looks a bit like yours but that I think looks more natural. Is this alright? --Bramble My Realm 01:33, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Put in Shadowstar, and took out Thunderstar. I've always liked creatures of the night better anyway. Tried your eye technique, Dawn. Did I do it justice? --Bramble My Realm 02:05, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Her profile says she has dense fur, so I think she would be considered longhaired. Boltstar 02:10, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

I'll redo her if I put her up for approval. Is there anything on the blanks you would like changed, Bolt? Oh, and Mosswhisker, when I tried to shrink them, they blurred. I'll see if I can find a way around that. --Bramble My Realm 02:13, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

No. I woldn't know how it works. Boltstar 02:19, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

I think that these look great now. Let me make just onne more windstar though... :P -- Dawnfeather  talk! 04:20, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Here you go. This is by far my favourite yet. I added a whdoged dot on the chest to make her look more powerful. -- Dawnfeather  talk! 04:30, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

This is my Tigerstar. It's really fun to try out new blanks HawkfireMy Den 14:19, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

We're not using that pose, Hawkey, so you may have to redo him to try him out. That's why I took it off in the first place. --Bramble My Realm 16:35, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

I like the eye that Dawnfeather made for her first Windstar. I'm going to change the females eyes to look like that, cause they look awesome. Hope you don't mind, Dawn. Does anyone else have anything of an issue for these? Or can I thicken the lineart and then they can be approved? --Bramble My Realm 16:54, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

I think the leader blanks should be approved now.--Yai-Girl 19:40, 6 July 2009 (UTC) Yai-Girl

(M) - I can shrink the images for you Bramble. Let me know if I should. Mosswisker&Stealthfire 22:29, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

That would be great Moss. If you could make them the size of the warrior blanks that'd be good. I also made the females' eyes more feminine. --Bramble My Realm 22:35, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Here you go Bramble! I did the female and male shorthaired, and I'll do the longhaireds tomorrow. Let me know if there's any problems. Mosswisker&Stealthfire 00:40, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Thank you much Moss! They look great, I was able to make the lineart thicker without any problem. --Bramble My Realm 11:45, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

To save room I got rid of the pictures; feel free to add in another Windstar, though, Dawn, with the new shrunk thickened lineart. :) --Bramble My Realm 11:47, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

The eyes on the shrunk ones, espiacaly the female, don't look right. Boltstar 14:46, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Tried to fix them. --Bramble My Realm 01:47, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

They actually look better normal size. The shrunk ones have wacky lineart and the regualr ones actally look better, just need thickened lineart. --Mal Sorrel-Wolf 15:29, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

I was thinking that, and I tested out how they looked in the charcat template regular sized. I was hoping we'd be able to go with them being regular sized. Sorry, Moss, though you did do a pretty good shrinking job. I'll thicken the lineart after I'm done with all the new articles. --Bramble My Realm 18:45, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Here they are, thickened lineart and regular sized. What do you think? can they be approved now? --Bramble My Realm 19:22, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Yes, they look great. Any more comments before approval in 24 hours?  Sandy Talk! 12:20, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Aw, he's cute. Only thing maybe is could you turn the eyes amber? They look like spotlights, they're kind of bright. Also blur the shading a little bit. --Bramble My Realm 18:54, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

I think the ginger is a very nice shade. Here, let's break up the monotony a bit: Inget fel som jag kan se. See if you can guess what that means, Dawn. :) And yeah, Flowerstem? We need to talk to the Erins. Flowerpelt would have been better than this. --Bramble My Realm 23:43, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Does it mean 'It looks like moon old fox dung and we should never of let you join the project' ? =D -- Dawnfeather  talk! 23:54, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Nah, the sentence ain't long enough for all that. ;) It means: 'Nothing wrong that I can see' in Swedish. I might drop sentences in another language if I've been saying that sentence a lot. --Bramble My Realm 23:59, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, Flowerstem was kind of a...not so good name. I'll put it that way. lol Bramble, what is with you and languages? ;D Dawnfeather, I said it once, I'll say it again. (M) - WOW. The only thing I can say is that there seems to be a whtie line running down the tail, splitting a patch in half - could you fix that? Looks great though Dawn! :D Mosswisker&Stealthfire 01:25, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

That's just the way the colouring turned out. I didn't mean for it to happen. I changed it anyway though, you're right, it did look strange. I also put some shading on the ear =D -- Dawnfeather  talk! 01:40, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
