Here are some guidelines all users must comply with Make sure to follow the guidelines The limit is 40 images, regardless if some are CBAed or withdrawn. If you exceed it, your image will be immediately declined. Your image is yours until it is archived, do not reserve a new one until yours has completed CBA and/or has been archived due to other matters. If your image has been declined due to the one month limit, you must wait two weeks to reclaim your image. This gives other users the chance to work on it if they wish.

Shattered Ice (Warrior) ~ For Approval

Heyyy :D Missed you all so much <3 Alrighty, so it's my first image back so don't go too rough on me..if you hate the tinted shading let me know. But black shading didn't make it look good at all. There shouldn't be any gray near the front legs (looking at the rogue a bit more anyways), and expand the white chest area a little bit too. —Jayce(16:28, 8/16/2014)

Tbh, I think those areas are fine. Because if you look at the rogue's front leg closely, the gray is going down the leg a bit, like over the muscle. And the gray went over the chest exactly as this is, because the rogue is almost exactly like the warrior blank, only difference is the rogue sat down and raised his head up. That's how I looked at it and based my design. But of course, if someone else agrees with you, I'll change it. :3 Just stating my opinion.  Frosty ^{☾Supernatural} 16:39, August 16, 2014 (UTC)

I agree with Skye - there shouldn't be as much gray, since there's some spots with gray that the rogue doesn't have. Queen Beebs 16:44, August 16, 2014 (UTC)

Uh, not on the front legs? Forelegs are front, not back. There is no gray on that chest area leading down to the legs, while you have some here. The white chest is also fairly larger on the rogue, while with this, I can't even tell he has one. There shouldn't be any gray there at all, since the rogue and warrior are facing the same direction. The gray area should be the belly area, not the chest, which on the rogue and warrior blanks, are two different things. The belly is the area between the legs on this blank, while on the rogue, there's more room, and you can tell where the belly is. With these blanks, that area is quite a bit smaller. As you have it, it does not quite match, and since they're facing the same direction, the placement should match as well. If it was the opposite side, you'd have more room to "play", so to say, but with this, you don't.—Jayce(16:47, 8/16/2014)

I wasn't being rude. I was explaining my critique in further detail. I fail to see exactly how I was being rude, when all I was doing was elaborating on my apparent rejected comment. When you post art, this should be expected. I was providing you with a legitimate comment, and telling you to move something, remove something, expand something, ect, isn't rude. Rude would be lying to you and telling you this doesn't match at all- which it does pretty much match, actually, except for that patch of gray, which I asked you to fix....and also define the light on both front legs too, please. ^^ —Jayce(17:04, 8/16/2014)

Reuploaded. Sorry...It's just I've been through a lot of crap recently and cats have just been being mean to me so when you use italics and bolds it just comes off the wrong way at first. I read it over a few times just now and realized you didn't mean it to be in a rude way. So I'm sorry for overreacting. -Back to the image, I removed the gray from the white underbelly and from above the foreleg. The white on the back legs look really gray, and I believe there would be at least a little bit of light on them. Also define the shading on the gray. Please don't ask for comments after only a day. I realize this, but that doesn't mean we can twist things because of others going on vacation. People are busy and have lives. Also, shift the placement of the white a bit on the face. The white on the rogue goes a bit farther up, and is a bit thinner on the muzzle. This kinda shows exactly where I'm talking about. There's also flecks of faded lineart throughout the image, especially on the tail. —Jayce(15:32, 8/19/2014)

Thanks! But I'd prefer not to define it more because I'd be told to define the light again. It's hard with a cat like this because that leg is white, so it'd have to be a gray shading like that or else the leg would look dark gray. And the tail shading is already pretty dark so I would rather not define it more but if someone else agrees I'll do it. Sorry if it looks like I'm shooting down your comment. You can use black/darker shading. Why do people think you can't use black on white cats??? Anyways, I agree with Breezeheart. I can't see the shading at all on that back leg. —Jayce(21:25, 8/24/2014)

Um there are supposed to be...I can try but I remember when making the tail--which took almost three hours do to the stubborn fact I'm a perfectionist--I tried about a thousand times but when I re-whitened them and then did the shading, the shading always darkened them down the the color they are now. So yeah I'd rather not but if someone agrees like I said I can try. I can also provide like two images uploaded to ezimba and you guys can see which one looks better. I'm gonna take a guess that you smudged the shading? If you did, thin the smudges out a little bit, and if you didn't, blur the shading/smooth it out. Also her elder looks kinda shiny so I suggest maybe fixing that sooner or later since that shading makes this look different in terms of color. —Jayce(19:27, 8/17/2014)

Blur the smudged shading some more. Especially around the chest and on the body, and on <--- this paw/leg. It seems a bit thick still and can't really see the stripes through it. Also, the earpink seems to disappear in <--- this ear. The shading is a little too dark there for such pale pink. Also, we could be seeing an old image. Duskfur (Queen) ~ For Approval

Since Snow withdrew this, i gave it a shot since she needed a Queen image. I tried to match the stripes the best i could. Colorpicked from her Warrior image, i used a redish tint for the shading.  Also, that stripe on the tail is part of the dorsal stripe. Lighten the shading and give it more shape. Nutmeg (the one below this section) appears to have the same basic source (if I'm seeing Jayie's shading correctly), so perhaps you could try that? This appears to be one giant dark line along her back. —Jayce(00:30, 8/25/2014)

Re-uploaded. I just decided to redo the stripes and shading. I tried my best to make the stripes resemble her Warrior image more by moving them closer together, and i moved her dorsal stripe so that it was more in the center of her back/tail. Define the eye depth while you're lightening his eyes. Also, even though the shading is smudged it still looks way too dark and awkward on this cat so if you would please blur it down some that'd be nice. Re-ups I'm sorry, but no, I won't blur it. I tried just now, it makes it look strange to me. He doesnt look green-ish on my screen. I used a pale brown (Not sure of the exact color code, sorry), and all i did was set the tabby layer on multiply above the original pelt color layer. Hmm, why not try tweaking that stripe color a bit, to perhaps a darker brown, and then set it on multiply, and lower the opacity if you have to? Sometimes, using the base pelt for stripes on multiply doesn't give the intended results- I would know, I've tried. I think these could be darkened a bit, and it wouldn't hurt to darken that stripe color. And brown can come out green no matter what colors you're using, lmao. Brown's an iffy color to work with sometimes. Also, that one foot on <-- side of the image has no shading, and it probably should have some. =P —Jayce(18:43, 8/31/2014)

I think it looks greenish as well. Try using #9c6442 for a pale brown that isn't green-ish - it's the same one used on Clovertail. Queen Beebs 18:40, August 31, 2014 (UTC)
