I don't need them, no, but I've used them on literally every other image I've made (not counting tweaks) and haven't had to turn them off, even though some of them are much brighter than this. Plus, at least on my screen, color looks almost exactly the same as the ancient tribe image, which is the on I picked the color from. Plus, turning them off makes a pretty minimal difference :/

You do realize turtles don't have tufts of anything on their tails, right? I'm not trying to be stubborn, but since her tail is canonically said to be like a turtle's, and short and stubby, I don't see why the extra tufts of fur are necessary- it'll end up like the tail on the previous images, which aren't stubby. The base itself looks to be a fair bit lighter than what you have, and I think the stripes could have a bit of lighter fur between them... they look a bit too spaced together compared to something like the rogue image. Yes, I know, it's not the same side, but I'm not entirely sure the stripes should be so close together and the base that dark where I can't even see the stripes themselves on the flank. —Jayce(12:36, 10/25/2015)
Re-uploaded The base is actually nearly white! If this looks too dark, it's probably the shading. The shading has 3 layers (a tint, the main shading base, and a highlight area.)
