Yeah, I tried to match her. I actually color-picked for the base color and earpink and tried to match the eye color. I think the issue is the stripes. I changed their color in an attempt to match the apprentice, and made them a little less smudged. There is a layer of texture under the stripes, from what I can tell. For the stripes, I suggest them to flow with the curve of the body, especially the ones on her back, also, make them a tad denser to match the apprentice. User:Burntclaw/Sig 14:38, April 3, 2015 (UTC)

The texture is sharper on her apprentice image. Try using an airbrush on a darker color and run it over the image until it looks like texture. If you don't want to do that use a 1px pencil and run lines over your image, then use a 1px or 2px hard edged smudge tool and smudge them towards the direction of fur. I think the ginger patch along his back/shoulder would extend a bit further down and go closer to his neck and the lineart where the leg starts. I also think the ginger on --> paw should be extended a fair bit- it looks like there's only a small part of the foot and barely anything else on that part that's got white on it.
