Dapplepelt (MC) - withdrawn

Well its 11:52 where I am, so its only 8 minutes until we can put up images again, So I thougt: what the heck, tweak weak will be over by the time they see this anyway.

The image: I followed what it said on her description. Although I don't remeber the tabby striped tail... Mossflight 06:59, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

I think you should make the tail look more like it has patches, not stripes. Also, blend the patches more.Minnowclaw 13:40, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

umm, i kinda already saved spottedleaf so i could make her sorry.Shim-Shim ★ 15:37, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

Okay. If Shimmersong did reserve her then please withdraw this. Can people please start taking note of the reservations? This is the second image I've had to say this to today. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 17:04, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

Sorry Shimmersong, I didn't see your reservation. I will just simply turn it into... Redtail. Just have to lose the herbs and change the eye.Mossflight 15:56, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

And blend the patches more. And you will need some black patches for a tortie, and the Redtail image has more redish ginger patches than this. Sorry that I sound harsh; I'm just trying to help. -- Dawnfeather  talk! 10:08, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

Ok I will not change this one. I tried looking for a tortoiseshell medicine cat and I found her (Dapplepelt). Mossflight 15:56, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

Okay, you just need to take away the things that are specific to Spottedleaf now, such as the darker eye fur and stripd tail. I'd add more patches and make them more irregularly shaped, blend them together more too. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 18:14, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

Heres the new one. Mossflight 22:38, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

It's great, but I think you should take away the white muzzle, paws, and chest as well because she was never said to have those. And I think that Dapplepelt should be a little more...dappled, if you know what I mean.  Sparrowsong  Madly Blooming Princess 22:43, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

Kittypet Blanks - Declined

I was messing around in the warriors wiki when I found many declined images so I put the Kittypet blanks for approval. Comments?--Yai-Girl 17:17, 20 July 2009 (UTC) Yai-Girl

Yai, these are Darkhallows' images. You need her permission to edit them, and also, o, Sandiwolf was working on them; they were just taken down due to black of work. --Bramble My Realm 21:34, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Oops sorry.--Yai-Girl 15:39, 21 July 2009 (UTC) Yai-Girl

These had best be declined then until Darkhallows gives her permission to use the old blanks and until you sort it out with Sandiwolf. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 10:21, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Yai-girl can use them. I have attempted to revamp them to no avail. Maybe she can.-- Darkhallows  Lair 17:54, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Alright then, back up for approval. Sandiwolf's were declined, and if she wants them back up, she and Yai can talk it out. There is a chances that one set can be used as rogues and the other as kittypets. (will add criticism when I have time) --Bramble My Realm 16:00, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Kittypets are well-groomed. The fur on the lond-hairs are sticking out everywhere. I thought you weren't supposed to put cats in drying machines? --MUMBLE785 23:48, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Mumble, long-hairs are fluffy, know matter how "well-groomed" they are. Maybe make the hair a tad bit closer to the pelt, though. I love the collars. :)--Warrior♥Warrior's Den 00:23, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Now, the lineart needs to be thicker, so as it goes with the other images. Instead of the tail being up, it would be better if it was curled around the paws, I think, and the ears need to be shrunk. The paws look slightly awkward too. I found this pic: click You could probably use it for reference. --Bramble My Realm 20:53, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

I agree with everything Bramble. That pic made me laugh though. I would advise you not to make them quite that fat Yai! Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 16:13, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Well, hey, they are kittypets. lol but yeah, don't make them that fat Yai. --Bramble My Realm 23:44, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

I have trouble making the long hairs fluffy can someone help me?--Yai-Girl 14:28, 29 July 2009 (UTC) Yai-Girl

Hre's another reference: [1]<<That should help you on the fur a little bit. (I know who drew that ^^) and instead of just thickining the outer lineart, try doing it with the inside lines, if that makes sense.--Warrior♥Warrior's Den 16:23, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

I did the short hairs, how do they look?--Yai-Girl 19:03, 30 July 2009 (UTC) Yai-Girl

Looks great, but can you please make them a bit bigger? MaYbe the size of my Loner blanks on the bottom? Besides that I love them! The reason I want them to be bigger, is beacuse it's easier to add shading, blending, and smudging, and so we can see the colors and tabby stripes/dapple even better. Hawkfire ♫ Go Aggies! 22:33, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

How do you make the blanks bigger?--Yai-Girl 14:58, 31 July 2009 (UTC) Yai-Girl

Oh erm.. I don't know. Maybe ask somebody who is good at the computer? I had to redo my loner blanks to make them bigger :( Hawkfire ♫ Go Aggies! 15:17, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Okay. I have a couple of things:

 1. They are a little small but I'm not sure how to make them bigger (Moss might know as she did it for her prey-hunters)
 2. There doesn't seem to be much difference between the longhaired and shorthaired - make it clearer which have longer fur
 3. The heads are a little strange - they seem really... angular and the eyes are really off centre which looks odd
 4. The lineart on the inside of a couple of them still needs to be thickened.

Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 18:54, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

I thickened the lineart on the long hairs.--Yai-Girl 21:16, 1 August 2009 (UTC) Yai-Girl

I have a suggestion, try to make the tail on the longhears thicker so then we can tell the difference. --Spottedwing 16:46, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

What do you mean Dawn?--Yai-Girl 11:39, 6 August 2009 (UTC) Yai-Girl

They look rather cartoon-ish to me, and I honestly don't think they work very well. Please don't get me wrong - there is no offense intended, to either you, Yai-Girl, or Shady. -- Dawnfeather  talk! 11:52, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

I can make them bigger, Yai, if that's alright with you. What Spottedwing meant when she said thicker tails wasn't the tail lineart, it was the size of the tail. As for the cartoonishness, I think their heads are the main problem. Their ears are at an awkward angle, and a bit big, and I think their heads just seem a bit wonky. But other than that, they seem like our other blanks. If you think about it Dawn, they're all cartoons... at least in the fact that they're drawn. --Bramble My Realm 03:11, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Here are my horribble ears.--Yai-Girl 11:25, 12 August 2009 (UTC) Yai-Girl

The angle on the tails of the short hairs are bothering me. Make them more curved. I had the same problem. Also, I can barley tell the females from the males. Make the males coalars more maleish ( If that makes since ).Minnowclaw 11:48, 12 August 2009 (UTC)Minnowclaw

The right ear (Our right), looks smaller than the left ear, on the long-haired cats. Maybe make the right ears a bit bigger. Also, I agree with Minnowclaw; the males are hard to distinguish from the females. I think if you made the females' eyes a bit more "feminine", they'd look better. ;) --HoneyfurBob's Your Uncle! 16:50, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

I made the ears bigger and fixed the tails.--Yai-Girl 09:40, 13 August 2009 (UTC) Yai-Girl

You're skipping over the make the females more feminine and the males more masculine. I think thickening their eye lineart, and making the female eyes look more feminine, and making a collar differenece would be better. --Bramble My Realm 14:31, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

I made the females eyes more feminine, made the males lissence rounder rather than a heart shape like on the females, and I made the long hairs tails thiner.--Yai-Girl 15:36, 13 August 2009 (UTC) Yai-Girl

I made another Rusty... these blanks do work. They just need to be made bigger. Also I like how the tail comes from behind the body on the longhairs more than the other two. Make the shorthairs tails curve round exactly like longhairs. --Bramble My Realm 19:59, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't think they look right... they're very square on the shoulders and legs and the fur is all... tufty which makes them look like ungroomed kits. I think the fur for both the long and shorthaired needs to be sleeker as if it is well-groomed and the angle of the head is strange. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 10:22, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

It's not exactly looking at you; the head was made at a 3/4 angle. --Blackclaw09 20:36, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

I agree with you, Sandy. I expressed that awhile ago, with the fur... But, yeah. Do as the loyal deputy said. --MUMBLE785MAN-EATING KITTEHS! 18:29, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

I agree. Also, make the long-haired cats' back legs, a little fluffier. Very cute, Yai-Girl! --HoneyfurBob's Your Uncle! 22:25, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

(M) - On the longhaired's, their paws are bigger than the shorthaired's - make them the size of the shorthaired's. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 01:20, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Also, the ears need to be at least slightly more rounded. -- Dawnfeather  talk! 09:58, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Also -

 • As I said before, the ears.
 • The mark showing the top of the head extends too far on that side in my opinioin. Maybe just shorten it a few pixels.
 • I know this bit was hard, but the she-cat's love-heart tag collar thingy's shape needs to be refined a bit.
 • The one next to the question mark - I don't know maybe just tweak that little area with the hindleg a bit - it didn't look quite right to me but it will be fine if you don't edit it.
 • The thing that bugs me most about these images - how at that point there with the arrows and diagrams coming from it the line doesn't change from vertical-pixel-coloumn-thingy to the other gradually, but *wup!* it's here, and then *wup!* it's there. Just add in a few other pixels to make it less, sudden. I'm sorry if I seem harsh - I just want to help you get this image approved so tweak week can come.! -- Dawnfeather  talk! 10:15, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure what happened, but I made this back into an editable topic. The only thing still bugging me a bit would be the female tags on the collars. Other than that, these are really nice, I think. (:--Quiet!... 18:07, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

I think the long hairs look pretty good. The female tags on the collars look different between the long hairs and the short hairs, the one on the short hair looks more like a heart, while the one on the long hair looks more square-ish at the top. (it is supposed to be a heart, right?) Otherwise, everything looks great! Icethroat21Hi, how's the prey running? 20:54, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

But no ones commented soo... Anyway, one ear is longer than the other (on the longhairs) and the tag is a little too big-- Darkhallows  Lair 02:47, September 2, 2009 (UTC)

The reason the ear is longer is cause the head is facing to one side. If it was both the same size, it would look like one ear shrunk. But I agree, the tags are a bit big. --Rainwhisker09 15:28, September 2, 2009 (UTC)

Actually, the other ear should be longer. I didn't see the image. If you don't want to re-draw the ears, you could put the longer ear on the right side and the shorter ear on the left side. --Rainwhisker09 15:31, September 2, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - If the head is at a 3/4th angle, it would need to look like this:

Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 21:56, September 2, 2009 (UTC)

I've just worked out exactly what it is about these that I'm not sure about. They look very pixelated, sqaure. like those pixels you can find online... they don't exactly look like real cats. I think you need to make the bigger, round the shoulders off a little and generally make all he lineart a bit smoother to make them look more realistic and in line with our other approved blanks. Welcome! I'm Mumble, and I'm sure they'll let you join. :) I won't bite you, but as for the image: The pelt color you used is a pink color. I would try making it more natural, like turing it into white, silver, beige, whatever color the description says. The shading is awesome for a start, but try darkening it just a tad, and blend it. To blend it, you would either go to and use the blur tool, or use Photoshop's blur, or download a program called GIMP and use that blur. Make sure to blur the shading into the coat color thoroughly and don't blur the lineart. Once you get those things done, we'll see what else it needs. ;) --MUMBLE785MAN-EATING KITTEHS! 17:15, September 20, 2009 (UTC)

You can resubmit, Hiddensun, but you're not allowed to copy another's image here. It's basically stealing, and makes the images all look identical. You've already taken a lot of other works of art as well for your charart gifts for other people. Please don't do that any more. Make your own (your backgrounds are lovely) --Bramble-san 22:24, September 28, 2009 (UTC)

But is it twisted all the way? Should be twisted halfway, so you should only see the front of the paw in the charcat, I think? Eveningswift :) 00:24, September 27, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - I agree with Evening - you'd probably just see the front of the paw. If it was twisted all the way back, it would have to have been completely crushed. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 18:44, September 27, 2009 (UTC)

Whitewing (Q) - Withdrawn by User

I made her about 1-2 months ago and just now had a chance to put her up. That's why she's probably not as good as some of my other images; I think it's the shading or something.  Sparrowsong  Madly Blooming Princess 21:48, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

Ok, I changed the shading. Is it better now?  Sparrowsong  Madly Blooming Princess 22:01, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

Georgus. The only thing I can see is there is some blured lineart near the tail. --Spottedwing 22:13, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

I don't see it...could you circle it?  Sparrowsong  Madly Blooming Princess 22:16, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

Whitewing looks very pretty, Sparrowsong, but in the shading on her hind leg, there's a dark spot that needs to be blended like the rest of the shading. The blurred lineart is close to the dark spot. Otherwise, great job! Icethroat21Enter at risk 22:22, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

Thin the shading on the tail and hind leg.Minnowclaw 00:40, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

You only need shading on the underside of the tail (the side closest to the body) at the moment you have it in a line going round which looks strange. Also, on the hind leg curve, get rid of the shading on the bottom bit as again it looks odd. Look at Willowpelt's queen version if you need a good example as Bramble did an excellent job with the shading. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 19:12, October 1, 2009 (UTC)

Is this just my computer or is he yellow?Minnowclaw 18:43, September 25, 2009 (UTC)

(takes a deep, calm breath) He’s not a tabby. His article descript was wrong. It’s not your fault, it t’s the people who put the false descriptions up on the article, but in the way of preparedness, find a book reference on the description before you make it; don’t assume the article’s always correct. --Bramble-san 20:50, September 25, 2009 (UTC)

I thought it also said he was a tabby in Firestar's Quest? Oh well. So, I would make him just dark ginger? --MUMBLE785MAN-EATING KITTEHS! 00:32, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

Correct. You know, if you can find a book ref that says he's tabby, I'd be happy to let you keep him that way. In the allegiances, though, it says he's a dark ginger tom. --Bramble-san 04:37, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

Mothwing - Declined

I know it might be a little bad so please help me make her better.ღ Şũήמy ღ 22:06, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Not bad at all. She's a dappled golden tabby, right? That's what I see here, and she's very good. She just needs some more shading. On her back, legs, chest, and head, just run the burn tool (about 50%, on midtones, if you know what that means) along those areas and she'll be good. --Bramble’-san' 22:09, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Wow this is ver ygood Hiddensun. But, like Brambel said, it needs more shading. Also the herbs looks really darkly shaded, could you lighten 'em up a bit? Mossflight 22:17, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Wait Bramble everyone here uses 50% on midtones? Wow, Iv'e bbeen doing it on highlights since I got here o_O. Mossflight 22:18, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

I don't know about everyone, but I find it keeps the shading texture able to make the original color darker without adding in gray. You can use whatever one you want. :) --Bramble-san 22:49, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

I use midtones as i find highlights hard to blend on pixlr ^_^ Not everyone does though I'm sure. It's not a rule, just good advice for someone who hasn't done shading before. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 16:45, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

I absolutely love this. It's probably the most beautiful charart I've ever seen! All I see is that you need to add more shading on her body, and that the shading on the herbs is too dark. Also, there seems to be some white pixels at the top of the herbs?  Sparrowsong  Madly Blooming Princess 01:03, September 23, 2009 (UTC)

She's really pretty, but I don't think cats are so bright. Perhaps run her over with the burn tool a few times?-- Darkhallows  My den 05:37, September 23, 2009 (UTC)

Is there a pupil? If it's there I can't see it. Could just be my computer. --Spottedwing 21:12, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

(M) I can see a pupil, but what I can't see is any shading. I also agree that the color should be darker. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 18:49, September 27, 2009 (UTC)

She looks almost neon. You need to make her darker.Minnowclaw 00:53, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

Well, cats aren't really "golden", they're just a light gringerish-brown. Eveningswift :) 17:33, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

I suggest using the Saturate tool than Burn her some... But what strikes me is there is no shading at all. The image is great overall, but she needs some serious shading. ^^;--Warrior♥Warrior's Den 17:18, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

golden and gingery-brown are like the same thing :/ Either way, cats definitely aren't yellow. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 10:24, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

 • whistle* They're very nice, Hawktalon. The only immediate things that jump out at me are that they are rather large; shrink them a bit. Also, the all the lineart needs to be thickened a pixel, including the legs and lineart inside. Maybe make the females' eyes a bit more feminine as well. Other than that, gorgeous. --Bramble-san 22:16, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

Nah, the eyes look fine. :) --Bramble-san 22:26, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

 • dies from awesomeness* These are amazing! Your such a great artist! Do as Bramble said and maybe these will be the fastest approved blanks! :D HAWKFIRE98 22:30, October 2, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Awesome! They look nice and muscular. The main thing is the faces; the curve of the mouth goes up to far. Look at the leader or kit blanks to see how it should go, becuase right now it looks like they're smiling. Also, the eyes are a little too big (Which is ironic, seeing as the one's on my blanks are too small ;) ) Also, echo what Bramble said, although personally I don't think they're any bigger then the leader blanks are... Wonderful blanks though, I hope they get approved! Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 00:01, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded I forgot to say that I thickened the lineart. And, I made the mouths smaller. Also, I tried to make the image smaller, but it blurred the image when I tried. Also, I don't know if this sounds stupid or not, but I don't know how to make the eyes smaller, either. Do any of you guys have any answers? Plus, thanks for all the nice comments! ^ ^ --Hawktalon 00:36, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

To make the eyes smaller, I think you need to do the lineart for it again. The shape is fine, but just know where the pixels are and put them closer together, or something like that. (Like the warrior eye lineart for example. There's only a small space, and the rest is filled in when you go to do an actual cat.) I'm not sure how to make the images smaller, as I've never tried to make any blanks before. Other than that, these look great! Nice job, Hawktalon! Icethroat21Enter at risk 00:42, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

These are really nice, but I think the necks should be a little longer and the legs a tad shorter.-- Darkhallows  My den 01:32, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

I like them and I'm not sure but do they have to be little? if they are not it would look like they fight and all that. or I like them big :)  Brambleclaw14 Talk 04:43, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

The heads look puny! Make the body smaller but leave the head the same size. -- Dawnfeather  talk! 07:36, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded I made the necks a little longer and the legs a little shorter. Mosswhisker, I tried to make the eyes smaller, but they looked weird when I tried. Also, I don't know how to make the bodies smaller, Dawnfeather. Sorry, guys, but I'm not really sure how to do much with these blanks. Could someone make the eyes smaller (I'm sure someone could accomplish that better than I can!) and make the bodies a little smaller to make the heads look a little bigger for me? Thanks! --Hawktalon 15:29, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but in my opinion, these barely look like cats; more like giant cougar-monkeys. GB57 15:54, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Here is a diagram on a few things you should fix. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 18:51, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded Thank you so much for the diagram, Mosswhisker:D! I made the changes. Constructments? --Hawktalon 21:07, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I agree with GB, no offence but to me they do also look like "cougar-monkeys", they look a little too muscular to be cats. Sorry, they just don't look like cats at all to me. --PandasongPanda-Love 21:16, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

There's a simple solution; tell Hawktalon how to make them not look like that. Instead of just giving it a name and leaving it at that. --Bramble-san 22:10, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

Redtail(kit)-for approval

I had a lot of fun making this image and it was a bit difficult to make him look just like my deputy image, but I think he is close enough. Here's Redtail as a Redkit when seen in Bluestar's Prophecy. One of my first kits since I hardly have any experience with them, but I want to get around to trying.-- Shim-ShimNewGladiator! 18:53, September 20, 2009 (UTC)

Pretty good, Shim. Just blend the shading on top of his head (transition line), and maybe take out the white on his muzzle... it sort of looks like he has a beard. Blur the patches as well. --Bramble My Realm 21:49, September 20, 2009 (UTC)

I'll work on him as soon as I get home. Bramble, I really don't want to take the white off his muzzle though because on his deputy image, I gave him a white muzzle. It would just seem odd to me for it to seem like it just appeared as he became older. Unlike when cats get older their fur does start turning gray...-- Shim-ShimNewGladiator! 17:06, September 27, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Try making the white more like Bluestar's leader image to make it look less like a beard. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 20:06, September 27, 2009 (UTC)

Beard? Wow, I'm disagreeing a lot today. I don't think it looks bad at all, but I guess majority rules.Minnowclaw 00:55, September 29, 2009 (UTC)
