HIGHLIGHTS AREN'T MANDATORY! Pandasong, the shading is blended to the best of my ability.*Swallowtip * EMBRACE THE TIP! 01:34, September 18, 2009 (UTC)

Highlights are not necessary, that is true. A shaded cat without highlights is both simple and approvable. Swallow, you just need to blend the transition between your patches, darken the ear pink and make it less smudgy, and that's about it. He looks very nice. --Bramble My Realm 02:35, September 18, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Just take the patch on his chest and connect it with the other brown patch on his leg; it looks a little unatural right now. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 22:06, September 18, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded made the ear pink darker and redder, connected the patches and blended to the best of my ability without it looking smudged.*Swallowtip * EMBRACE THE TIP! 16:01, September 19, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - It looks great! Just add shading to the bottem of his tail and this should be good. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 20:55, September 19, 2009 (UTC)

Reuploaded Is that better?*Swallowtip * EMBRACE THE TIP! 22:03, September 20, 2009 (UTC)

Much better. All he needs now is you need to blend that patch right near his mouth, because it's just hard line where the transition is, and make the ear pink a more dark pink color than purple. Also, on his right (our right) ear, move the ear pink inside the ear a bit more, and make it more triangular. --Bramble My Realm 01:53, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I forgot. Better now?

Make the ear pink this color: File:EarColor.png and make it a more fine triangular shape, keeping it inside the ear. On the right ear especially, you can that the ear pink has gone out of the ear and onto the temple area. --Bramble-san 00:05, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

Softpaw blanks - Withdrawn

[[File:SFFS.png]][[File:SFMS.png]][[File:SPFS.png]][[File:SPMS.png]]So I was surfing thought this site and low and behold, I find my old blanks. I forget what I wanted them used for, but I took them and molded them to this. Could someone give me a diagram or a face I could put on them? You would think that by a cats' third blank they would be good.Minnowclaw 00:11, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - Not bad! How did you do your lineart so it looks so natural? I mean, I can't see the pixels or's kindof creepy...xP Anways, nice blanks! Try splitting the paws so they have toes on them right now, and the way the tail curls around the body looks...akward. Try curving it more. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 01:07, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

Thank Mosswhikser! I use a program called for blanks and I start with a sketch I do at home, scan it. Then make as many layors I want while going over it until I like it. On my final stage, I forgot to start it with a white background so when I filled it in, it eareased all the grayish pixels. Well, I did my best to seporate the toes, fix the tail and I added my own face.Minnowclaw 22:47, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

The line under the chin should be more in. But these look awesome! --Rainwhisker09 01:26, October 7, 2009 (UTC)

They look really good, don't get me wrong... but my problem is that they don't really fit in with the more realistic style we have for the other blanks. Try making them more in proportion. The noses need to be less pointy and the limbs look very, i can't think of the word... puffy - like they would be stumbling around. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 21:03, October 8, 2009 (UTC)

It's almost there, you just need to work on the shading, especially the line going from between the forelegs to connect with the back shading- this looks really obvious and thin at the moment. Try thickening it slightly towards the back and blending it more. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 19:22, October 1, 2009 (UTC)

My first blanks! I'm pretty happy with the way they look. I made an example, Rusty, and I didn't have any problems with it. The only issue is their tiny size - does anyone know how to make them bigger without completely re-doing them?-- Echomist Hear the Echo... 23:39, September 30, 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, Echo, but Mosswhisker had these on her current projects long before you did. They do look pretty good, maybe you can turn them into something else and put them up. Okay, so sorry for not commenting Lightning (I'm a rubbish mentor at the moment - same goes for you Hawkey - I'll try and be around more). As for the image, there are just a few things that need sorting. Make the ear pink ore triagular and definitely a darker colour as he's a black cat and the ear pink shouldn't show up so much. Look at some approved black cats for reference (I'd reccomend Nightcloud, Whitethroat, oh there are loads now!) Then you need to work on the shading a bit more. It looks like you've used the smudge tool - try and make sure the consistency of the shading is the same all over and then blend the edges carefully towards the middle of the pelt a bit with the blur tool. Be careful again not to hit the lineart. One last little thig - the eye is very bright green, could you possibly find a slightly more leafy green? Something not so similar to the herbs perhaps. There's a couple of pixels on the face that should be dark-gray like the fur instead of green, and shading is too dark. It needs to have different colors along the way from the outside to the inside of the cat. Black, really dark gray, dark gray, fur color, and then blend, or something along those lines. Right now the shading is really messy, and too dark on the outside of the shading. Also, I hope you're feeling better now. We're glad to have you back. Darken the pelt color a bit (I'd recommend using the burn tool, biggest size, and just running over the image once or twice to make it darker.) --EchomistTalk/Contribs 16:45, October 20, 2009 (UTC)

No your not wroung Echo. It does look gray.--Minnowclaw Enter at own risk... 22:06, October 20, 2009 (UTC)

Wait, I thought I had Screech reserved? --Hallow's Eve09 22:19, October 20, 2009 (UTC)

so, should I withdraw this?-- ☆Pebble☆ X3 02:00, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

Yes, as Blackclaw already was doing him and is getting ready to put the new version up. Keep up the good work though, the image is very nice. --Bramble-san 22:09, October 22, 2009 (UTC)

Beutiful Darky!Minnowclaw 14:06, October 12, 2009 (UTC)

I agree, she's wonderful! But, there seems to be a couple light colored pixels on her far cheek and the nose needs to be pink. Also, the ear pink seems to be more circular than triangular. Fix these, and she might be approved! --Hawktalon 19:35, October 12, 2009 (UTC)

Fix'd.-- Darkhallows  My den 12:49, October 13, 2009 (UTC)

(M) - The eyes look... strange. Look at some of the approved queen's eyes. Then she should be good. Mosswhisker & Steatlhfire 17:34, October 16, 2009 (UTC)

It seems silly, seeing as I just fixed her eyes, but I think I'm going to withdraw her for now. I'm just not fond of the image. -shrug---Darkhallows 18:53, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

Shame Shady =( I really like it. Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 20:04, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

Sharpclaw Blanks

I got bored and made these. I figured that there were reserves on most blanks, so I'm just offering these up to use for whatever. If there's an extra blank needed for something, and whatnot. I'd like to see what everyone thinks they should be, because I've got no idea. Suggestions on editing welcome. ;3 --Sandiwolf 02:46, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

do we have To-Be blanks? or something? they should have whiskers :) and maybe a line going in from the nick? I'm newsh so...  Brambleclaw14 Talk 04:48, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

And I think the eye is a bit big, maybe the cat is to big as well?  Brambleclaw14 Talk 08:27, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

I think that the only blanks that aren't reserved by anyone are softpaw blanks. Icethroat21 16:36, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

Add some fur to the cat, or else it looks flat. --PandasongPanda-Love 16:40, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

I think Minnowclaw has the soft-paw blanks reserved. Maybe they could be kit-mothers?

Oh and yes they need whiskers. --Rainwhisker09 21:14, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

Oh, sorry, I forgot that Minnowclaw had the softpaw's reserved. But these look too small to be kit-mothers. They look more like young cats. I don't think there are any other blanks that aren'y reserved besides the kit-mothers, though... Icethroat21 22:29, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

I can add whiskers to them. If there's nothing you can do with them now, you could use them for something later. More cats might show up in the future series.--Sandiwolf 19:42, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

Sandiwolf, this can't just be Use for whatever blanks. You need to chose something or take them down. What about sharp claws?Minnowclaw 22:59, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

Or cave-guards, unless someone else reserved them already? I could check if someone reserved the sharpclaw blanks right now. --Rainwhisker09 01:31, October 7, 2009 (UTC)

Shoot, sorry. There is already something up for that.Minnowclaw 22:49, October 7, 2009 (UTC)

I saw no rules against it, Minnowclaw. Correct me if I am wrong. But, I can take them down if there is no use for them. --Sandiwolf 17:08, October 9, 2009 (UTC)

No, your not wrong. There is no rule agianst it in my mind, but think about it, if it gets approved and we don't have anything for them, what do we do?Minnowclaw 12:10, October 10, 2009 (UTC)

Echo has the sharpclaws up, and Ice said they're too small to be kit-mothers, and the only thing left is cave-guards, which I'm not sure someone had reserved. --Hallow's Eve09 17:44, October 10, 2009 (UTC)

Well there is a point in time I'm sure that we all will be looking for a time to maybe to improve some of our blanks. Maybe you can start looking ahead in that...-- Shim-ShimNewGladiator! 19:00, October 17, 2009 (UTC)

I withdrew my sharpclaws... these could be sharpclaws, if you want. -- Echomist Hear the Echo... 13:34, October 18, 2009 (UTC)

On the shorthaired versions, the lineart behind the ear doesn't connect. Its too straight. These would look good as sharpclaws, though.--♥Shadowedheart♥ 19:49, October 18, 2009 (UTC)

They look like they've been lifted up from the front, if you know what I mean... maybe make the front legs longer, so that they touch the ground. -- Echomist Hear the Echo... 00:26, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

They look very dog-like. Try making them a bit more delicate: smaller paws, less pointy muzzle and you need to sort the tails so they look more feline too. If these are going to be sharpclaws you need to replace 'Use-for-whatever blanks' with 'sharpclaw blanks' Sandy~Dragonkit's Forest 18:08, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

Please work on these soon or they will be declined. --Bramble-san 23:20, October 25, 2009 (UTC)

Declined due to lack of work. --Bramble-san 01:39, October 27, 2009 (UTC)

She needs tabby stripes. Ashshadow 00:00, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure what you mean; she's a spotted tabby, look at her description. --EchomistTalkContribs 00:17, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

I thought they still had some form of stripe. Ashshadow 00:30, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

I just basically made her the way she looks on the Code of the Clans cover. Should I change the spots to tabby stripes? --EchomistTalkContribs 00:33, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

No. I thought spotted tabbies had stripes and spots. Don't mind me if they don't. Ashshadow 00:37, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

Her fur is too bright...darken it some.-- Shim-ShimNewGladiator! 01:13, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

~Reuploaded.~ Darkened fur. --EchomistTalkContribs 12:47, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

She doesn't really look like a spotted tabby. [1]They have stripes on the heads, tails and legs. --Darkhallows 17:08, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to withdraw this. I'm really not that fond of the image. Maybe I'll make some changes and put it up later. --EchomistTalkContribs 21:58, October 29, 2009 (UTC)

The tabby stripes are good, but the image looks more golden than light brown. --Icethroat21Enter at risk 03:00, October 29, 2009 (UTC)

Better? Also, like my new sig?--♥Halloweenclaw 20:44, October 29, 2009 (UTC)

It looks more golden-brown now than light brown. A good example of light brown would be Leafpool's med cat charart. --Icethroat21Enter at risk 22:32, October 29, 2009 (UTC)

Better?--♥Halloweenclaw 00:13, October 30, 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, Minnow, but I think all you're doing is darkening the gold until it becomes brown, but it's not working. Besides, when you do get there, it'll be dark brown, not light brown. I don't know of any other way to fix a color except for redoing the image. Sorry, Minnowclaw. --Icethroat21Enter at risk 00:37, October 30, 2009 (UTC)

I'll try to fix it, but give me a day or two.--♥Halloweenclaw 01:17, October 30, 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry to hear that. I loved the image. I put in "Withdrawn" for you at the top in replacement of "for approval" for you. I hope that's okay. (am I aloud to do that?) --Icethroat21Enter at risk 01:26, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

O ya, thanks, I forgot to put it up. I'll redo this when my leopardstar is approved.--♥Halloweenclaw 01:38, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

[[File:Cora.rouge.png]] Here she is? Comments?  Ghostfire  Happy Halloween! 01:57, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

This is very nice, Hawkfire! Although, you could thicken and darken the shading; I can barely see it. Also, the ear pink is much too bright for a black cat and could be blurred some more. It looks great, otherwise! --HawktalonTalk 19:49, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

This has been up for more than a week, please work on this or it will be taken down.--♥Halloweenclaw 20:55, October 29, 2009 (UTC)
