Whitewing - Declined[]

My second coloured image. Tell me if I need more shading! --:Leopardstar's Ultimate Fan 15:28, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

She looks too white. I think it needs more shading to make it look more 3-D. Plus, the inside of the ear should have a color(I reccomend pink) In my mind, I always imagined Whitewing's eyes to be a darker green.Mallinois 15:38, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

OK, thanks, I'll start improving. There, I made a new version! Is it any better? --:Leopardstar's Ultimate Fan 15:53, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

I don't think shading is supposed to stretch out to her neck like that. Also, the eyes looks gray. She has green eyes. GB 16:11, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

And I just noticed, she has a blue line under her. GB 00:15, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Her eyes AREN'T grey! They're Olive Green! *sighs* Can't I get anything right? --:Leopardstar's Ultimate Fan 15:21, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

OK, is that better? --:Leopardstar's Ultimate Fan 15:23, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

I think that when the shading stretched out out along the neck looked great. I t made Whitewing look more muscular. The eyes don't look gray to me. plus, have you tried blending the ear? If you use paint(which Ihave) let the image sit for awwhile and the program blends the image itsself.Mallinois 18:13, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

So shading on the neck? I KNEW that was a good idea, but GB thought otherwise... *sigh* --:Leopardstar's Ultimate Fan 14:59, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

GB's opinion of how things should look does not always line up with those of the folks running the project. The image needs more shading. It needs to be over the whole image. This means no leaving out the head ;) I'd also like to see the ear pink blended a bit more. Nice start.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 17:46, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Just a bit more shading, and, yes Kitsu, the pink in the ear needs some blending. Also, the shading needs to be blended. therwise, great job! FxC 18:18, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Rainwhisker - Declined[]

While I'm waiting on the conclusion on whethed I should do Moonflower as a warrior base or not, I did Rainwhisker. --Bramble Bramble's Realm 01:22, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Cool!I love it.--Alice 01:56, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Okay I know what Kitsu's going to say, and I agree, too blue no offense.--Redflare 20:23, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

I dunno - I like the colour actually...--Sandy 17:44, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Might be my laptop screen, but I don't really think it's too blue... It looks like a very rich, deep gray to me... Could use a few highlights in addition to the shading it's got, though. Redflair... I'd prefer if I was left to draw my conclusions and people wouldn't put words in my mouth ;) Y'all can't see into my head, as I can't see into yours. Bramble... Might want to shade the muzzle, too. And blend the ear-pink some. Great start, though.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 22:31, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Lack of progress decline due to the fact that I declined another one pending this long. Tweak and resubmit and you'll be good to go, probably.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 16:36, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Heathertail-Withdrawn by User[]

I finally made a charcta. Please comment. User:Mallinois Coyote=background:Black>Coyote The Doghouse 23:42, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

The tabby markings look very unnatural and...scratchy. Also, this needs more shading. The colour is perfect though--Sandy 18:48, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

There's a faint outline of yellow on the tabby markings, and they need to be blended. The shading below the ear is beautiful though, just needs to be blurred. Also, the ear pink must be integrated into the rest of the fur. But I can tell you have put in a great effort to this picture, and it's an adequate start. FxC 23:20, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

I pictured Heathertail a lot like this. If you go by FxC's tips I think it'll look great --Bramble Bramble's Realm 23:41, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

I would suggest waiting until you photoshop works to make charart. The tabby markings are sharply defined from the pelt, and you outlined EVERYTHING. GB39 15:16, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Okay this Image is much better than my last two. Please comment. Photoshop is working....yay!Mallinois The Doghouse 20:21, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

I agree. This is a big improvement on your previous images. The shading still needs to be increased and blended into the pelt for a more natural look though--Sandy 20:26, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

You got it. Lionblaze will be fixed. Mallinois The Doghouse 20:52, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

His tail shouldn't be white-tipped, and it looks like you smudged the outline. GB39 20:54, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

I haven't fixed that yet. I just added the white-tail tip(mostly because it is used in cats of the clans), just as Bramble added the white muzzle to Thistlclaw.( His muzzle is white-tionged, not white.) Mallinois The Doghouse 21:20, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Graymist - Withdrawn by User[]

Okay, here's an image of Greymist. (RiverClan warrior) --Sandy 19:16, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Graymist is a pale grsay cat, not gray and white.See Allegiances Dark River

I know. I have read the allegiances before I chose her as the character you know...I didn't just guess... The whole point of this image is that it was TOO grey to be a grey and white cat...--Sandy 21:17, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

You need to deal with that white tinge. Otherwise, I think it looks pretty nice. Maybe you could touch up the ear a little. GB 00:10, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Okay, she's definitely grey now--Sandy 07:48, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

I also sorted the ear a little to make it more triangular and natural looking--Sandy 15:43, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

She could use some tabby markings. GB 22:33, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

she is not a tabby, its fine.--Redflare 22:51, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Yes she is. See the allegiances for Outcast. GB 22:54, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

She needs no tabby markings...the description of her on her page on this site is of a 'pale grey she-cat'. Is there anything else anyone thinks needs doing though?--Sandy 21:11, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Yes, tabby markings. Sandy, I know what the article says, but you can't argue with the books. It says in Outcast and other books that she's a tabby. GB 01:28, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

okay, okay. I'll give her some tabby markings. I'll re-upload when I've finished.--Sandy 10:39, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Okay, this is my first ever attempt at tabby markings--Sandy 10:57, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Until we get a clarification from the authors on which description is correct, we'll have to wait on approval. Unless someone wants to acctually look up any/all references to the character and see which one acctually gets used in the books.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 16:35, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

I'll take a look in the books and find out.--Sandy 17:26, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

I've only managed to find one reference where it shows her colour - The Sight, p135, 'a gray RiverClan queen...' All the allegiences show she's a tabby though--Sandy 18:05, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

I'm withdrawing this and I'll start afresh on something new. This image has been lying here for too long and I don't know where to go with it so it can be declined or whatever. I'll concentrate on another image instead--Sandy 19:02, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Sootfur - Withdrawn by User[]

Here's a try at Sootfur.--Jakko123 21:49, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

The blending you've done so far is beautiful! But don't be afraid to add more shading! Trust me, I know how you feel. But what's the worse that could happen, neh? Just think of where shading usually is on a cat; where the muscles are, etc. Also, consider which character you're doing. If you're doing a more muscular cat, go ahead and define those muscles! Go ahead and show what a tough warrior they are! Anyways, like I said, beautiful blending. C: Oh, and don't forget to add a triangle of color to that ear! -Hazelflower 22:01, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Ooops, I saw that too. Here's a new version, I did the shading in a style more like Bramble. You might need to stand up to see it though.--Jakko123 22:10, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

The shading needs to be blended in more--Sandy 17:44, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Sandy's right. If you're using a program that has the smudge and blur tool, let me tell you that the combination of both of them has beautiful results. Also, I'd add a bit of shading to the head. You're getting there!! -Hazelflower 20:55, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

I tried adding the shading on the head, and blending it more. Hazel, sadly you can only use blur tool when blending something with black.--Jakko123 22:21, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

That's weird, Jakko... I use blur on normal colors all the time... It's a nice start, but don't forget to shade the legs, rear, tail and muzzle. and to blend things fully.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 16:38, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

I'm going to remove this.--Jakko123 21:39, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Better? GB39 15:56, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Maybe some more shading on the hip area, and more blending on the current shading. Also, the ear color looks more purple than pink. --Bramble Bramble's Realm 16:44, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Wow, no ones commenting. I'll just fix it up. I'm busy with Dawnpaw, so...--Mallinois The Doghouse 19:34, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

I'll comment. Well the shading seems, not sure if this is the right word, but blotchy or something. Did you smear them instead of blue because it looks smeared to me. It might just be my screen. -- ShimmerCrytals 22:15, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

I updated. Plus, Shim, your sig says crytals instead of crystals. --Mallinois The Doghouse 01:35, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Oops XD Thanks Mallinois. Its becoming better. I think it could use more blending and shading. This is what I like doing: Blend, Smudge, Blur and repeat. Works like a charm :)-- ShimmerCrystals 05:54, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Bumblekit-Withdrawing[]

This is my try at Bumblekit. Comments needed. If someone could help me get the background white, I would appreciate it. Whenever I turn the background white, the lineart turns white.--Mallinois 14:32, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

I think the lineart changes colour too because it is the same colour as the background and so has now become part of the background. I think the eyes need pupils to make them look more natural, and the stripes need to blended more so they to look natural. The pink ear is too pale also.--SandyLeader's Den 15:25, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

The eyes have pupils (just look closer :) and they are yellow like a Bumblebee's stripes! (ha, Ha) I'll try to blend those stripes more! --Mallinois 15:26, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

The background needs to be white. GB39 00:37, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Sorry Mallinois - didn't see that. The eyes look good but the image still needs more shading and the background is going to need sorting out too as GB mentioned.--SandyLeader's Den 13:47, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

KittyPet Blanks ~ Withdrawn[]

Mumble, I'm sorry, but these simply cannot be approved. We have permission only to color the warrior and apprentice blanks, not to edit them. FxC 20:16, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

FxC's right, Mumble. I can see a resemblence with ths blank and the male warrior's, so I'm guessing you edited it. Sorry. GB39 22:10, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Ok. I'm gonna redo him. I don't like the fact that he looks a lot like a dog... O.O It's creepy. --Mumble785 23:30, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

He looks, scary. --Mallinois 00:09, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Is that because of the head? I couldn't figure out how to get it to look, well, normal. :/ --Mumble785 00:15, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Mumble, I'm sorry, but this was obviously edited from the warrior blank. It is not "all your work." A blank is an original drawing (usually from a reference picture, that's how I did my deputy blank). The point is, this image was derived from a blank and it would need to be re-done from scratch. If you want help on referencing blanks from actual images, message me (the "x" in my signature is a link to my talk page). FxC 22:45, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Mumble, there's no reason to freak out. Follow the rules next time. :/ GB39 02:16, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Even though this has been withdraw, this is just to help if you want to have another go at it. The only big problem I can see is that there is no break in the connection of the muzzle and the forehead. The forehead should reach out a little past the eyes, then drop down a little bit, then continue out to create the muzzle. Also, the muzzle is a little large. Make the distict drop between the forehead and the muzzle, and make the muzzle a little smaller, then I think it'll look much better. Other then that, I don't see any problems.. 72.81.208.205 23:10, 31 December 2008 (UTC) Random Quest

Frostfur ~ Withdrawing[]

I finaly get to do a long-haired she-cat. What do you think of her? --Mumble785 01:20, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

She looks like you just painted everything on her. And the tail shading should not stretch out like that. Try this:Smudge, Blend, Blur, and repeat. Try adding shading with the darken tool, and hightlights with the lighten tool.(Though that's not needed with the white cats) If you want a model for good shading, use Gorse's Weaselfur. (Awesome pic, Gorse) --Mallinois 01:34, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Ok. I'm gonna wok on her tomarrow. (or when I get bored...) --Mumble785 02:37, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

REUPLOADED. Is that at least a little better? (And I agreed with you about the painted on thing...)

Mumble, I hate to say this, but this probably won't be approved. Frostfur was last seen as an elder and we don't have an elder blank. We also don't have a queen one either. But I shall comment on picture anyway cause I'm that type of person :], add more shading to her and blend and smudge away. Remember to have fun as you work. -- ShimmerCrystals 02:32, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Ok. I'll make her look as though she was approved, and use her as an example for my other pieces. So I'm still gonna make her!!! --Mumble785 18:19, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Nah... I'm gonna drop her out and do a different one. Do you want me to delete this article? --Mumble785 16:39, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Leader Blanks-Withdrawing[]

This is my next try at blanks. Comments needed. I'll post the full set later. --Mallinois 22:46, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

One of the things you could do to improve it would be to maybe scoot the tail over a little, making him a little fatter around the belly (he look's a little starved...), and making the tail a little longer. Also, in some places the line needs to be a teensy bit thicker such as the teeth, nose, eyes, some of his fluff, etc. I'm not trying to be rude, but if I am, my apologies. --Mumble785 18:25, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Is it supposed to be bowing? Also, the tail is very very fat.--Jakko123 02:23, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

I believe she ment for it to be pouncing. (Which it does look like both. No offense.) --Mumble785 22:40, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

The image is long male, and I'll try to fix it, I'm in Indy right now, away from home. --Mallinois 01:42, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

I added lines to show it was pouncing, and I redid the hindquarters. --Mallinois 15:32, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

I'm posting the other blanks. --Mallinois 15:46, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

That looks a lot better! But try scooting the hips together a little, and on the short-haired blanks, make the tail trail out like the long-haired's do. --Mumble785 15:52, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

How's this? I tried doing shading in a style more like Gorse's Weaselfur. --Mallinois 15:38, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
