Lark That Sings at Dawn (Ki) -declined

Fix the earpink, it's got a little dip in the left side. And don't worry, Honeybreeze, you just need to keep trying. My first image was...well, pretty bad :D I made a sand-colored tabby, and I used a size ten brush for the stripes... -.- But I read the tutorials, practiced more, made some charats for other users to get feedback, and I got better. Honeybreeze, it's going to take a while to learn exactly how to do these stripes. Trust me, my first tabby was Squirrelflight and I still remember being scold by Kitsu for using triangles and it looking cartoonish XD As an example I found a picture of my old final version of Squrrielflight. They may have been accepted after works of practice but I find it horrible compared to the work I do now and the changes I made on the current version of Squirrelflight. Sometimes, you may to come up with your own ideas for tabby strips if thats the case like I did with Silverstream (Q) or Brook (W), but beware as others will have to copy your style for other images xD Of course, if your image already has markings from other images, it's best to set those two side by side on your screen so you can draw the markings onto your image. Sounds easy, but it actually takes a lot of work to get them to look very similar. I have faith that you'll learn and soon catch on :) Don't give up so early and ask for others to do your work. OH! You've really come a long way with this :) But I also notice that the background is a tad fuzzy like different shades of white/gray. That usually comes from working with the dodge/burn tool which is too hard to fix. It's not noticeable to to some people but at the angle I keep my laptop screen it shows up really clean. Like Nightshine said, the colors don't quite match, so you could always go on pixlr and copy the colors from her other images. Redden the earpink so it's more like on her queen image, and blur it a bit. Lighten her main pelt colour, so it matches Flight's queen Charart, too. Okay, don't follow the following suggestions until some more experienced PCA member agrees with me: Darken the mudstreaks, smudge them together and into the fur a bit more, and thicken them a tad. There is also some gray lineart on one of the paws. go over that with a black brush/ pencil (gimp/pixlr) lighten the earpink. You kind of over did the shading, but it can be fixed easily. Just make sure that you don't mess up the lineart when you do the edits and such, because he belly lineart looks a tad on the thin side, the ear lineart look almost covered up by the earpink. Darken the mudstreaks, as Wildheart said. Maybe brighten the highlights on the chest a tad. Blur highlight on side. Make the earpink bigger and the mudstreaks brighter. Right now they don't stand out very well. Dramatize the smudging of the mudstreaks, as well; they need to look like they've been hastily slapped on, not like they're part of the pelt. How does it look? It said, in the alligensices of The fourth apprentice, that she was a white tabby. I know it sounds like Graystripe being described without his stripe, but the difference with this because it suggests that her white fur was tabby, and there was no gray spots at all. Well the eyes are wrong so look at the guidelines. Add a tabby mark on her head, add more highlights, add or darken the shading, redden the ear pink and lighten the nose pink. Ok, I'm going to give you my honest opinion, please don't get mad. I think you need to redo the stripes. Reason being is that I can tell that you used the paintbrush tool to put on her stripes, and sorry, but that's not the best way to do it. It looks better if you use the pixily-Pencil tool, then take your blur tool, set it on 100%, then blur the stripes. I'm really not trying to be mean by telling you to change it, it will just save you time when it comes to them. Also, it might help to make the stripes a little smaller. Make the earpink bigger, especially on (her) left. Add a stripe to her tail since tabbies usually have many stripes, as well as one on top of the head. Also, this is just a preference thing, but the smaller stripes almost give her the apperance of a mottled or spotted tabby, you might want to play with them a little, possibly making them a little longer or something. The mudstreaks look...superficial. It doesn't look very real, not trying to be mean. Just make them a little thicker, then smudge them into the pelt color, and if you're using a program like GIMP, it'd be good to put them on another layer just in case you mess them up. I do think you should fill the whole ear, I saw it on other prey hunters and I think it looks fine. Maybe make the mud a darker color? Or you could just copy it from another Tribe cat, maybe if there's any other lighter colored cats? Someone pointed out before you reuploaded this that the gray looks like shading well...it still kinda does. Make the shading and grey pelt-color a seperate color. I think you should remove some mud, because it looks like it's part of the pelt. Like the mud is actually brown streaks of fur :P And also, the gray does look a bit like shading and other than that, I think it looks really good :-) User:Cherryfur123/sig 22:39, June 25, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, this will be declined as a queen is a pregnant cat, and she was never actually pregnant. I can give you tips on this on your talk page, if you'd like. The next time you go to reserve a charart, make sure to reserve it on the table (I don't remember seeing a reservation). I think you should get rid of the lines around its eyes and the lighter belly and face. I understand that it's supposed to be realistic, but Warriors has never cared about realism.
