The earpink also looks a tad unnatural. I mean like shade it in the direction of the ear and it goes a tad to far down. when you smudge or blur the earpink make sure you get the bottem, and smudge it to the tip of the ear. otherwise great job, love it! At el da 01:34, April 22, 2011 (UTC)

Dethumbed. No, Ivystripe, don't help yet. I know GIMP, and I know it can't screw it up that bad. All you need to do is try again with a lighter coloured earpink, and fix the shading so it looks more like the redline on this tutorial. You can also find an earpink chart at the link I gave you. When you're blurring the shading, put the blur tool on 100% and go over it several times. If it's still not good enough, which it shouldn't be, then you can ask Ivystripe (or whomever you wish to ask) for help blurring. I hope I helped. llwild heart™l 06:21, May 13, 2011 (UTC)

It's actually really easy, you won't have to redo the whole thing. Just color pick the color right behind the ear 9the light grey part), color over the ear pink, then use the right color for it and look at others to see how their ear pink looks. No, he won't get a loner image and shouldn't even have a "loner name" on his charcat because he always considered himself a Clan cat. Yes, Ravenpaw believes in StarClan, but he's never coming back. Crowfeather and Leafpool gave up their warrior and medicine cat duties for a short while to be together. They originally intended to stay loners. Crookedkit had always planned to go back to his Clan, and always said he was a "loyal RiverClan warrior", and came back to his Clan. It's the same with the cats who went to the sun-drown-place and the cats on the Great Journey. Where is your light source? Even from above, the limbs would still have light parts. If you're having it from directly above, make sure to add light parts to the tops of the arms/front legs, the top part of the back part (ugh could I make it more confusing -_-) of the foot, and add shading to the bottom of the tail, neck, and chin, or define it if you have some. I love this character art! I suggest that you maybe lighten the part of the tail that faces upwards and maybe the tip of the un-torn ear? Oh Sandy, I don't wanna sound mean, but this whole thing, not right. The highlights need to be more circular, and only on the face and haunch. The shoulder highlight needs to be ovaly, while the tail tip is obvious. Shade the back, legs, tail, mid-back to underbelly, and stomach to chin.
