Emberfoot - Withdrawn by User

Okay, so Crowfrost didn't go to well. But here's my second shot at a new character. GB39 05:38, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

More shading needed GB!--Sandy 15:12, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Better? GB39 15:56, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Maybe some more shading on the hip area, and more blending on the current shading. Also, the ear color looks more purple than pink. --Bramble Bramble's Realm 16:44, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

I'm way to busy right now to work on three images, but I'll work on the other two. GB39 17:50, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

I did Icepaw, since Shim-Shim was doing Foxpaw. Tell me how I did--Mallinois The Doghouse 23:21, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Wow, no ones commenting. I'll just fix it up. I'm busy with Dawnpaw, so...--Mallinois The Doghouse 19:34, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

I'll comment. Well the shading seems, not sure if this is the right word, but blotchy or something. Did you smear them instead of blue because it looks smeared to me. It might just be my screen. -- ShimmerCrytals 22:15, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

I updated. Plus, Shim, your sig says crytals instead of crystals. --Mallinois The Doghouse 01:35, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Oops XD Thanks Mallinois. Its becoming better. I think it could use more blending and shading. This is what I like doing: Blend, Smudge, Blur and repeat. Works like a charm :)-- ShimmerCrystals 05:54, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Withdrawing, Because I have too many images up and want to finalize certain ones. --Mallinois 15:42, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

This is my try at Bumblekit. Comments needed. If someone could help me get the background white, I would appreciate it. Whenever I turn the background white, the lineart turns white.--Mallinois 14:32, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

I think the lineart changes colour too because it is the same colour as the background and so has now become part of the background. I think the eyes need pupils to make them look more natural, and the stripes need to blended more so they to look natural. The pink ear is too pale also.--SandyLeader's Den 15:25, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

The eyes have pupils (just look closer :) and they are yellow like a Bumblebee's stripes! (ha, Ha) I'll try to blend those stripes more! --Mallinois 15:26, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

The background needs to be white. GB39 00:37, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Sorry Mallinois - didn't see that. The eyes look good but the image still needs more shading and the background is going to need sorting out too as GB mentioned.--SandyLeader's Den 13:47, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Withdrawing, for I ahve too many images up and I want to focus on my three favorites. --Mallinois 15:41, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

KittyPet Blanks ~ Withdrawn

Until I can get GIMP, I'll help with blanks. This is a blank for a ShortHaired Male KittyPet. If you like him, I will make and post the other three here too. (short female, long male, long female.) Both critism and coments are welcome and accepted. ;) --Mumble785 17:39, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Um... it looks a little bit like that one dog that I can't remember the name of. :\ GB39 17:54, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Your right... Maybe because of the eyes or the nose... --Mumble785 19:26, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Reuploaded. I curved the neck a little, and copyed on of the male warrior's eyes. Is that at least a little better? --Mumble785 19:36, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Mumble, I'm sorry, but these simply cannot be approved. We have permission only to color the warrior and apprentice blanks, not to edit them. FxC 20:16, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

FxC's right, Mumble. I can see a resemblence with ths blank and the male warrior's, so I'm guessing you edited it. Sorry. GB39 22:10, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Ok. I'm gonna redo him. I don't like the fact that he looks a lot like a dog... O.O It's creepy. --Mumble785 23:30, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Since you modified the warrior blank, It won't be accepted. --Mallinois 23:50, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

REUPLOAD. Ok. this time, he's all my work. Ok? What do you think now? --Mumble785 00:08, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

He looks, scary. --Mallinois 00:09, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Is that because of the head? I couldn't figure out how to get it to look, well, normal. :/ --Mumble785 00:15, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Mumble, I'm sorry, but this was obviously edited from the warrior blank. It is not "all your work." A blank is an original drawing (usually from a reference picture, that's how I did my deputy blank). The point is, this image was derived from a blank and it would need to be re-done from scratch. If you want help on referencing blanks from actual images, message me (the "x" in my signature is a link to my talk page). FxC 22:45, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

O What?!?! WithDrawn... Seroiusly man!!!!!!!!!! --Mumble785 23:21, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Mumble, there's no reason to freak out. Follow the rules next time. :/ GB39 02:16, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Even though this has been withdraw, this is just to help if you want to have another go at it. The only big problem I can see is that there is no break in the connection of the muzzle and the forehead. The forehead should reach out a little past the eyes, then drop down a little bit, then continue out to create the muzzle. Also, the muzzle is a little large. Make the distict drop between the forehead and the muzzle, and make the muzzle a little smaller, then I think it'll look much better. Other then that, I don't see any problems.. 23:10, 31 December 2008 (UTC) Random Quest

Frostfur ~ Withdrawing

I finaly get to do a long-haired she-cat. What do you think of her? --Mumble785 01:20, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

She looks like you just painted everything on her. And the tail shading should not stretch out like that. Try this:Smudge, Blend, Blur, and repeat. Try adding shading with the darken tool, and hightlights with the lighten tool.(Though that's not needed with the white cats) If you want a model for good shading, use Gorse's Weaselfur. (Awesome pic, Gorse) --Mallinois 01:34, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Ok. I'm gonna wok on her tomarrow. (or when I get bored...) --Mumble785 02:37, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

REUPLOADED. Is that at least a little better? (And I agreed with you about the painted on thing...)

Mumble, I hate to say this, but this probably won't be approved. Frostfur was last seen as an elder and we don't have an elder blank. We also don't have a queen one either. But I shall comment on picture anyway cause I'm that type of person :], add more shading to her and blend and smudge away. Remember to have fun as you work. -- ShimmerCrystals 02:32, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Ok. I'll make her look as though she was approved, and use her as an example for my other pieces. So I'm still gonna make her!!! --Mumble785 18:19, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Nah... I'm gonna drop her out and do a different one. Do you want me to delete this article? --Mumble785 16:39, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

No leave it and say your withdrawing it. Kitsu or someone else will delete since we aren't allowed to since we aren't leaders of the project just members.-- ShimmerCrystals 04:59, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Kk. Withdrawing then! --Mumble785 20:39, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Leader Blanks-Withdrawing

This is my next try at blanks. Comments needed. I'll post the full set later. --Mallinois 22:46, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

One of the things you could do to improve it would be to maybe scoot the tail over a little, making him a little fatter around the belly (he look's a little starved...), and making the tail a little longer. Also, in some places the line needs to be a teensy bit thicker such as the teeth, nose, eyes, some of his fluff, etc. I'm not trying to be rude, but if I am, my apologies. --Mumble785 18:25, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Is it supposed to be bowing? Also, the tail is very very fat.--Jakko123 02:23, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

I believe she ment for it to be pouncing. (Which it does look like both. No offense.) --Mumble785 22:40, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

The image is long male, and I'll try to fix it, I'm in Indy right now, away from home. --Mallinois 01:42, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

I added lines to show it was pouncing, and I redid the hindquarters. --Mallinois 15:32, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

I'm posting the other blanks. --Mallinois 15:46, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

That looks a lot better! But try scooting the hips together a little, and on the short-haired blanks, make the tail trail out like the long-haired's do. --Mumble785 15:52, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

The mouth looks a little off. Add a chin, and maybe redo the teeth? 23:03, 31 December 2008 (UTC) random quest

Dawnpaw- Withdrawn

This is my attempt at Dawnpaw. Amber didn't look too good for her eyes, so I did bright emerald green. Please Comment! --Mallinois The Doghouse 22:50, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

I'll try adding highlights. --Mallinois 15:33, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

It looks like she was painted, and someone smeared it everywhere. There's gray flying out of the outline. GB39 17:48, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

How's this? I tried doing shading in a style more like Gorse's Weaselfur. --Mallinois 15:38, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

This is really good! One thing I would say is to maybe make the ear pink slightly darker to make it more visible. Not too dark though. --SandyLeader's Den 12:29, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

I made it darker. --Mallinois 15:23, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

It's kinda not pink's gray--Sandy Leader's Den 07:17, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

I used real cats for refernece, and most gray cat's ears are dark gray. --Mallinois 13:41, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Really? okay then. I've never had a dad hates them, so I wouldn't really know--Sandy Leader's Den 17:53, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

My dad doesn't like cats, and my mom is allergic, so i don't have one either. I used pics on the internet. Dawnpaw has no other features, so i'll just work on whatever you teel me. --Mallinois 18:33, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Ah...Well, I have nothing else to say about it at the moment. It looks good.--Sandy Leader's Den 20:04, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Fernpaw Withdrawing

I tried out Fernpaw, so Kitsu can try out her plan. Comments needed. --Mallinois Woof! DoggieDish 14:07, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Wow. No one is commenting... --Mallinois 00:05, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

THat's because a picture of Fernpaw is not needed. There is already a picture of her warrior self, Ferncloud. Although who approved it, I have no clue. I can't find it anywhere in the approved art, and it has absolutely no shading. No offense to whovever made it. -- random guest.

Actually, it is needed. We're tying to get a pixel of characters at every rank they achiveved; even if we already have a warrior pixel, we still need kit and apprentice pixels as well.––Σulãlíã459 678 06:23, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

And please sign with the four ~s. We know who you are, even if you sign as "random guest". GB39 17:44, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Could I get some tips on how to make it better? --Mallinois 15:38, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Mallinois, I really like this. I don't think it needs anything else. GB39 22:07, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Wait, caught something. The paw's still smeared. GB39 01:07, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Mallinois, this looks pretty good. However, Kitsu said that there would be time for previous pixels later. We need many more current pixels, which are our top priority. FxC 21:34, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Fixed that. --Mallinois 01:14, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Withdrawing. Taking up space. --MallinoisHimatsu'sHowl 21:29, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Greenflower - Declined

The eyes are green, and there is no description of her pelt at all in the books, so I thought I might as well try tortie.

I have not done any shading yet, I know. I want to get the other colours right first, and the patterns right too.  Dawnfeather  07:45, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Oops! Forgot the Pink in the ear.  Dawnfeather  07:53, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Call me impatient, I won't care. I got bored, so i decided I might have my first ever try at tabby markings, based on my cat (who I happened to have based this entire pic on, not including the actual, exact pattern of her pelt). I think it turned out rather well.

I am still holding back on the shading, because if I need to swap around where the different colours go I would have wasted a lot of work. I also changed the tail because it was bothering me like a fly. An especially loud, interfering fly. It still looks weird, but it's better.  Dawnfeather  11:45, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Really nice! This is just my opinion, but maybe try filling it all in with tortie coloring? Not needed though. Good luck with the shading!--DarkHallows Lair 20:46, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

I posted another pic that is almost entirely tortie. Who thinks that I should make it the first option (with white), and who the second(without white, or at least mostly)? I am capable of making a decsion, but I wanted to know what everyone else thought before I do any shading.  Dawnfeather  06:36, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

I prefer the one with white personally. --Sandy Leader's Den 12:13, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

I agree. I'll wait for a few more comments, or a few more days before I continue with that one though.  Dawnfeather  06:21, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

If we have no description, then we can't make her image. GB57 00:09, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Okay.  Dawnfeather  00:46, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Pity. This was very pretty. --Bramble Bramble's Realm 01:31, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Fireheart (Declined)

I know, he needs improvements. I can't get GIMP, but I'll try my best on paint and soon I might get a photo editor. Now, I need some advice!!! --Mumble785 01:40, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

First off, it is Fireheart, not FireHeart. There is barely any shading, but where there is it isn't blended. The color could be more of an orange, it looks reddish to me. A good start, just needs improvement.--Jakko123 02:23, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Ok. I'll use your advice to improve it, since I know have a program that has the "blend" tool. ;) I'll get him reuploaded and improved in no time. --Mumble785 22:38, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

REUPLOADED. Ok, so I added more shading, blended the shading, made him more orange than red, spent more time on the eye and added the ear pink becase I felt like it. Is that better? --Mumble785 23:17, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

It needs much more shading, and hightlights need to be added. Ginger is the same as pale red tabby, so you need tabby stripes and more of a "flame colored" pelt. --Mallinois 01:12, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Ok, two questions: 1.) Are the blended stripes gonna be horizontal or vertical? 2.) Where are the places I missed with shading? --Mumble785 01:27, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

I don't actually think it needs more shading. Maybe down the belly wold be nice. When we mean blended, we mean make it go nice into the orange color. There should be more of a faded boundary then a thick, straight boundary.--Jakko123 15:35, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

kk. I'll add a teensy bit more shading down the belly, and maybe a little on the hind leg wouldn't hurt... --Mumble785 18:01, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

REUPLOADED. I added and improved my shading on the chest, belly, and legs. Is that better? --Mumble785 18:40, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

I saw that you couldn't get GIMP and sometimes I don't use it when my computer is very slow. Try, its like an online photoshop. I use it a lot and it actually works rather well. You can upload this image using the url on there so u can edit it, then you can save it. It has all the same effects as photoshop and GIMP. If you need help using it leave a message on my talk page. And with the image, it needs shading on the back and its sorta fuzzy. Did you save it as JPG? Try PNG file type. It works a lot better :) -- ShimmerCrystals 02:25, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

There needs to be more shading on the back, head and muzzle. A tinge of "Fire-color" needs to be added. This color is too orange, it needs to be more reddish orange. And there are a lot of unneeded color looks too pixelish now. --Mallinois 15:53, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Also, the eye looks a little wierd. I don't really know what's happened to it...--Sandy Leader's Den 14:12, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

The eye has that creept zombie thing going on..., so try what I do. Color in the middle four spaces the color of the eye. Than color the top right white, and the top left black. Works like a charm.(By the way, cool sig Sandy) --Mallinois 14:18, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Ok. I'll work on it! --Mumble785 18:16, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

REUPLOADED once again. I redid the whole image using paint and pixlr. I love that program now! Ok, a improved and added shading, added highlights to the back, made him more reddish, and did the eye using Malinois's method. What do you think? --Mumble785 16:37, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Much better but could use some shading on the back.-- ShimmerCrystals 05:55, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

kk. I'm on it! --Mumble785 17:32, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

REUPLOADED. Added a teensy bit of shading on the back above the highlights. --Mumble785 17:32, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

Add the tabby "m" and tabby stripes. For reference, use Dustpelt and Squirrelflight's pics. --Mallinois 22:07, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

REUPLOADED. I have a small doubt and a good feeling about him now. I made him simalar to Squirrelflight. You like? --Mumble785 23:27, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

A bit better, but I think the tabby markings stick out too much. Well not think, I'm positive. They seem bright against his pelt. Also some of the shading seems closer to the black outline. I'm not sure if this is my computer or something.-- ShimmerCrystals 01:08, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Ok. I'll make the tabby markings blend into his coat more. --Mumble785 23:07, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

REUPLOADED. Is that good, or did I over-do it? --Mumble785 23:18, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

Better, but it looks a bit blurry behind his ear in the back.-- ShimmerCrystals 00:41, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

It looks like you outlined the whole image. Did you smudge out the outline for shading? --Mallinois 16:15, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

REUPLOADED. I sharpened behind the ear, and no I didn't smudge the outline. --Mumble785 21:34, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Better, but for his eyes did you use a really dark green or leave them black? Fireheart(star whatever...) has emerald green eyes.-- ShimmerCrystals 03:56, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

I used a light green for the eyes. I'll make it more emerald... --MUMBLE785 18:15, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

He needs a little light in him. Try adding highlights. --Mallinois B e w a r e o f F l u f f y 22:16, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

ok. --MUMBLE785 18:58, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

REUPLOADED. I made the eye darker and added a little bit of highlighting. --MUMBLE785 20:30, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

He is very...bright. Is there any way to tone it down a little? (to make it look more natural cat coloured) --Sandy Leader's Den 14:32, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, like, turn down the... um... hang on, I'll get the word it the moment... contrast, or brightness down a bit? Also, I think there needs to be more shading behind the shoulder and under the head on the neck, like on Gorse's Weaselfur. Dawnfeather I am of the Forest - I am of the Dawn's Radiance 13:12, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Ok. I'll work on that. Until I get the renovations done though, i'm putting it on hold. --MUMBLE785 17:09, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Please work on this, Mumble. You can't put images on hold. GB57 05:52, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Updated. Is that better? (P.S. Sorry for my absence...) --MUMBLE785 18:23, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Are the updates showing up? I can't see them... --MUMBLE785 18:26, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Queen Blanks - Declined

Hello, I'm new to wikis in general(so I appologize if I make mistakes)! I decided to start out with these blanks that I made in photoshop. Hope they get approved! I'm open to any constructive criticism. --Melonlemon 03:46, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

These look great! The front legs could be a little longer, but overall good job! Realistic, and you made them look nice and pudgy! lol. Flamefeather 12:59, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Very good job! One thing I'd like to say is make the eye like the warrior blanks and straighten the muzzle expression to make it look less cartoony. --MallinoisHimatsu'sHowl 13:21, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Also, you'll need to scale the real blank down in size to match the warrior blanks. --MallinoisHimatsu'sHowl 16:23, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Updated! Thanks everyone! They are pudgy because they are preggo cats XD I thought it would distinct the queens well hehe. I changed the eyes to be blank; I changed the mouth to be less "smiley". I did not change the front legs, because I realised the problem was that I made the body too long; the legs should now be closer to the proper leg-body proportions. I also got rid of the extra white space around them so they are bigger-looking in the thumbnail. I'll try to scale down the pictures soon, but I think it is a bit of a problem because these queen blanks are horizontaly posed, not verticaly posed like the other blanks. But we'll see! Thank you guys for the input <3 any more critique is welcome! --Melonlemon 03:05, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

These are awesome! The only thing I hope is that you don't go through the same thing I did with Sandstorm because there was another one up for being approved so they might get rid of it quickly. I know some who might jump to that, but the other blank hasn't been update for a while so I think you might have a good shot at this. I'm not sure why this is bugging me, but the shape of the back it just seems so humped up.-- ShimmerCrystals 04:33, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Thank you ^^ yeah I feel also kinda nervous about an ordeal like that. XC another update: I scaled them. I'lll clean up the line art as I add more tweaks to them. Will fix the hump. XD --Melonlemon 04:48, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Good job with your scaling. Even if that ordeal does happen, just reupload it again later XD. I think these will be perfect queen blanks. I agree with you leaving the eyes blank, but maybe atleast add a pupil or something. I forget what that other part in your eye is called. -- ShimmerCrystals 05:09, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Actually, there can be more than one up for approval. Shim, your Sandstorm was declined so quickly for being way too small. --MallinoisHimatsu'sHowl 13:56, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

It looks better! I love the expression they have! You did really well at getting them pudgy, but not looking like footballs with four sticks, a head, and a tail. I've seen preggo drawings like that. Better than I could ever do. Flamefeather 18:28, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

They should be updated, but the images haven't been overidden yet. It is taking a long time Dx when the changes show up, there should not be a 'bump' in the back, with cleaner lineart. I decided to leave the eyes blank still. People can add in the pupil if they want to, or something (this can change if you really need it). Again, thanks for the crits! --Melonlemon 01:36, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

They finally updated! the changes happened finally. :D --Melonlemon 01:08, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Wow! I really like these. The only thing is that the closer front paw looks a little off to me. Otherwise good.Darkhallows
On the long haired base, there's a white line above the back. It looks like where the lineart was place to seperated it from the background.-- ShimmerCrystals 03:50, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Updated. Sorry for the long wait. Straightened up the paw and fixed the white! --Melonlemon 19:27, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

  • gasp* Ok, ok. I admit it! your good. but... but, but, but... I'm watchin' you. o.O --MUMBLE785 18:57, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

On the tail (long-hair) there is some fur sticking up, half-way down, and it looks rather unnatural. EDIT- of course, I hit 'save page' without signing first--Darkhallows 23:09, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

These look really really good! The only thing I suggest is that you don't enclose the toes with the lineart completely on the hind leg. It kind of makes it look like the toes are separated more from the rest of the foot. Do you know what I mean? If not ignore me I'm just nit-picking, and I'm not a pro at cats either. They look great! :) --Goldencloud 03:12, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

I think that the ears are too big, like mice or rabbit's ears! (No offense!) Dawnfeather I am of the Forest - I am of the Dawn's Radiance 13:16, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Firestar: Declined

I drew Firestar. Please let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is definitely appreciated. Thanks! Sparrowsong 05:01, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

FireSTAR is a leader, please wait for a leader blank.Darkhallows

Oops. Do you still like it, though? Sparrowsong 16:25, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

It doesn't matter; this can't be accepted. GB57 22:42, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Even if is was a leader blank, it has absolutly no blending and I can tell it was made with paint. --MallinoisHimatsu'sHowl 22:55, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

I did make it in paint, but I had to because I don't have photoshop. And yes, I know it's not perfect. Nevermind, I know it would never be accepted. Sparrowsong 23:41, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Why don't you just go and download GIMP or use It easier than doing this with paint. Besides I think if we're making everycat have a picture for their different stages, all Firestar pictures (from kittypet to leader) should be the same color as well.-- ShimmerCrystals 03:48, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

You need to wait for the leader blank, you need to make him ginger, (not yellow) you need more shading, and he's a tabby so you need the tabby markings. Look at my pic, FireHEART, for examples on coloring. ;) --MUMBLE785 18:25, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

I think this should be declined because it hasn't been worked on for two months. It is the wrong blank and there is already a Fireheart up for approval which was submitted previous to this image. --Sandy Leader's Den 12:34, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

I agree. --Bramble Bramble's Realm 01:43, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Leader Blanks- Declined

Hello again! :) We are in dire need for some leader blanks, so I'm trying to make some. Some of the line art (especially the longhaired ones) might be a little messy. Critique well appreciated! ---Melonlemon 02:10, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

These are great! But I would make more of a gender difference. Thin down the females legs maybe.Darkhallows 07:25, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Not sure I agree that a bigger gender difference is needed...There's already the difference between the eye shape and the differences in chest fur and body shape. These are really good Melonlemon, the position they're sat in is very regal, just how I would expect a leader to be sat. Something about the ears is annoying me slightly though...I think they may be a little too big on the insides...maybe. I like these images though. --Sandy Leader's Den 14:19, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

I love these. They're sooo awesome. I'm allowed to say that because I'm not also doing leader blanks. I'm still watching... O.o --MUMBLE785 17:39, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

These look like... mice. GB57 17:52, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

GB! You can't say that!! They don't look like mice at all, don't worry :) --Sandy Leader's Den 19:52, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Sandstar, I can say what I want, thanks :/. They do look like oversized mice. GB57 20:17, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

They good and all but the ears look a bit big, or like GB said, makes it look like mice. Maybe make them a bit shorter or something. Skyfeather1995 20:22, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

[GB - No need to be touchy, it was meant in a friendly way. But so as not to let this get in the way of the actual images...]Skyfeather is right Melonlemon --Sandy Leader's Den 20:55, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Fixing spacing images and sections problem... --MallinoisThe Puppy's Crib -Ui! 00:01, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

hehe, they do look like mice! XD Thanks for pointing that out, I posted them here for crits after all. I agree about the ears. in any case, I'll find some time later to fix that. And thanks Mallinois! --Melonlemon 06:23, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

These look really cool! What would make then look even better is if you don't make them smile. Ya know, something more serious looking. Also, I suggest making the eyes a bit bigger and ad a pupil. Really awesome though.--Thornpathtogehodou 00:09, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Super Update! Finally got the time to work on them. Now they are more realistic. Thanks everyone! --Melonlemon 04:32, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

I love these! Someone please approve of them! They could be leader pics or deputy pics.--Thornpathtogehodou 00:27, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

OMG!!! I'll finally get to do bluestar!!! YAY!!! I es LOVE dem!!! --MUMBLE785 19:59, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Good work Melonlemon, but I do have a few suggestions. On the short-haired male you have a line which I'm guessing you're trying to show where the neck and shoulder connect. You could either keep this and add it to the others or delete from this pic. I say they look best without it though. On the male long-haired his chest fur is connected with his chin which looks down right awkward. Also his leg fur are connected together (his hind leg and foreleg)while all the other templates are spaced out. Please fix this. Overall the females are fantastic! Keep all your fantastic work up-- ♪Shimmer 02:44, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
Hmmm.. .I see what you mean! Unfortunately, I won't be able to work on these (or the queen ones) in about 2 weeks because I will be on vacation :U Gotta go! See ya ;) --Melonlemon 02:57, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

These are AWESOME! I can see no fault. The line on the shoulder of the male longhair looks good to me, not out of place at all.  Dawnfeather  23:31, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Declined due to lack of work. They look like their fur's all matted up. Also, these haven't been worked on forever. GB57 23:41, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

I like them! Needs shading, though. Oh, yeah, different section.;) --Warrior♥ 21:46, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

I put them into two sections. --MallinoisThe Puppy's Crib -Ui! 00:00, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

The ear pink needs more blending and maybe try adding a highlight down the back?--Sandy Leader's Den 20:01, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

The ear is too bright (ears are such a pain!) and the belly shading makes it look like... he's black, with a darker black belly. I would lighten it up and add more shading elsewhere.--Darkhallows 09:52, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Declined due to lack of work. GB57 23:45, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Mosskit - Declined

Here's my go at Mosskit (Bluestar's dead kit). The gender isn't really specified but I went with female. FxC 15:16, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

You mean male. Anyway, Mosskit is Blue-gray in Secrets of the Clans, and when he sees Snowfur for the first time it says he has green eyes. -- 17:52, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

No, she meant female. That wouldn't likely be a typo. FxC, I think Mosskit is supposed to be male. The only time it calls him female is in Cats of the Clans. GB57 16:28, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

On page 78 of SotC, it says: Mosskit hesitated, looking up at me with wide green eyes. "But what about my mother." --Mallinois 19:04, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Mallinois, could you please give a reference for that? GB, it was a typo. I meant male. And anyway, could you please comment on the actual artwork? FxC 23:02, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

It could use a bit more blending, and The eyes make it look...Wise and old. --Mallinois 23:18, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

More blending of the shading is needed - also, the background needs to be transparent. Sandy Leader's Den 15:05, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

The eyes look hooded. Perhaps you could try putting the color on the sides of the eyes and on one pixel above the pupil, leaving the other pixel white. And maybe blur the shading, as Sandy suggested. Other than that, awesome. --Bramble Bramble's Realm 02:05, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
