Queen Images
Okay, so does anyone here remember what we did with the apprentice blanks when they were redone? Well, after talking about it with a couple of the other members of the project, both leads and non-leads, and even users not directly involved with PCA, and we've come to the conclusion the best way to get these images done, and done in a timely manner, is to do the method of reserving images and posting them as done in the past.
To do this, we're going to extend the maximum images to two for the approval page. However, this only applies if you have a queen image. For those who were not around, or don't remember, what we did was upped the amount of images a user could post at once for approval.
This means a user could have the following possibilities for their reservations:
- One queen image, one regular image (or new image being used for queen blanks, like, say a queen image for Petal, since she does not have one on her page already), and one tweak (if you are a warrior or lead).
- Two queen images, and one tweak. This would mean that you would be redoing already existing queen images, found here.
- One regular image, and two tweaks/redos that are not queen blanks.
Quite honestly, as long as there's not more than one new image per person, not counting the redone queen images, on the approval page at once, I don't quite mind. I don't want to see three queen images reserved to one user, though. The maximum you may have is two on the approval page, and if myself or the other leads see anything more, we will decline on the spot.
Any and all users (both part of the project or not) may post queen images on the PCA approval page, as they are completely and totally new images, and not just being redone using the same blanks. This means that kits, apprentices, warriors, and leads all have fair chances to work on images. Scarlet and I were around when we redid the apprentice blanks, and the way we did it was efficient, quicker, and gave the others a chance to work on images they might have never had a chance to should we have only allowed warriors and up to redo the queen images with the new blanks.
That being said, the perma-queen blanks are also being redone, and since they are a modified version of Paleh's queen blanks, Scarlet and I (along with the voices of others), have agreed to let her tweak her already existing blanks and repost the perma-queens, since they are hers, after all, and she knows exactly what would need to be done and where things would need to be tweaked.

I knew a couple people might not understand it..so that's why I'm here. yes, you may work on a queen image of your choosing. However, since you already have a new original image (Leaf's rogue), you cannot choose a new queen image (like say, one from Thunder Rising), but instead the queen images that are listed here, that need to be redone. Just make sure one you want to do isn't already reserved or not being used, or that it's not a perma-queen blank, as seen with the blanks used on this image or ones like it. —Jayce(03:04, 11/9/2013)

Kit Blanks
Um, I don't mean to make anyone mad by saying this, but I think the kit blanks need a tweak/redo. The tail seems to be nagging at me, especially on the longhairs, and if you picture the kit standing up, the anatomy doesn't really match with a real cat, and the ears need to be defined better. Also, the paws are almost the size of the head, and in real life, are really small. I was also thinking that we should make them a tad bigger. Again, I don't mean to bother anyone when I'm saying this, and if other users disagree with me, I honestly won't mind. :p I just think they would need a tweak or redo. --User:Glitterpelt/Sig 01:31, December 14, 2013 (UTC)

We're currently discussing temporarily shutting down PCA, so anything having to do with the blanks should wait until we've decided. Tweaks
Hawkeh has decided to share an idea with PCA.
I was scanning through the tweak nomination page, and when I got to the list of images needed tweaking, I noticed that there are many images. Most of them aren't even done, and I think it's probably because most of the warriors /don't/ think they can match such masterpieces of the other images, and the OA's of there other images from the set just don't have the time. I already have two Lionheart images up, so I can't do much until they are archoved. And to tell the truth, I'm a warrior, and I'm still not really sure how to reserve tweaks. (Do we just decide to put it in the table and do it or something?)
But noticing the forum that PCA is possibly closing, most of the images on the list probably aren't going to get done until after the temporary shutdown, /if/ there is one. So I came up with an idea to draw more attention to the tweak page.
Note: This idea lasts only until the possible shutdown of PCA.
I was thinking that we'd be able to have three or four tweaks up for approval on the tweak page at a time. With more images up during the week we have, it leads to faster archiving, and a faster way to get rid of all those images needing tweaking before the possible shutdown. Therefore, the list will be made smaller, and less tweaks to do after the shutdown. And after the shutdown, with nothing to do, we can focus more on the other projects. Sound like a plan?

Tweak Nominations
Ok I know that the temporary closing of PCA is being discussed and whatnot, but I've been meaning to post this as I feel it needs to be adressed. It's been becoming a very frequent thing, that when people nominate an image to be tweaked/redone, the reason is 'I can do better' or 'It's my image and I want to make it different' or something along those lines. I really feel this is not a valid reason for an image needing to be tweaked/redone, when it's a perfectly fine image. Experimenting new styles could be done outside of PCA, instead of it being an excuse to redo a perfectly fine image. The image may need some improvement, though, of course. However, how can that be proven or expressed when a large majority of the voters say 'since it's your image' or 'I know you can make it better', instead of posting valid reasons (If nobody's pointing out areas that could use improvement, including the nominator themselves, than that probably means that the image is fine)? I don't want to get nitpicky or pessimistic, but how are all those statements I mentioned bove are valid reasons to redo or tweak an image? I think there should be guidelines set so that whenever somebody votes/nominates an image, a comment should be stated why (in terms of the image, not how the artist can do better).
